Chronomancy
is the magic of Time. Its practicioners are called "clockers," possibly a
clue as to their relation to the Mechanomancers -- both schools sacrifice elements of a
mage's life (youth in one, memory in another) and Chronomancers fuel their magick through
the destruction of clocks and even clockworker mechanisms. Whatever the connection,
Chronomancy is an older school but has only recently re-appeared as an active one.
The actual composition of this school is
interesting: the majority of its members are young, favoring extreme fashions and
behavior. The rest are much older, preferring a more stable, quiet existence. Undoubtedly,
the older members are loathe to lose what youth the have left while the newer clockers are
too hungry to realize how precious life can be.
HOW TO USE CHRONOMANCY
The prime form of accessing the manipulation
of time would be through the dimension of time. Time is a continuous flow. However time
can be altered through speed. A psionic can often gain a sort of time manipulation by
manifesting the speed of thought upon himself. One can also become active in the field of
time by entering within different time frames of the past.
Enigmatic structures, and advanced
technoglogical devices can also give you acess through the dimension of time, by the means
of speed or magic. However this is usually limited by the means of time manipulation, and
only used for traveling purposes.
Most of Chronomancey involves the
character's special abilites, and isn't drawn by a single set of standards.

Although there are numerous forms of
performing Chronomancy, or Time manipulation. The behavior of time is limited. So if you
choose to use time as a source of power, be aware that time is a structured force that is
constantly evolving. Time also changes the state of the character using it. Permanent
affects are done to the character once he/she returns to the Prime Plane of his/her
natural time frame.
TRAVELING INTO THE PAST :
This is the most common form of time travel.
Gaining access into the past can often lead to changes in your own basis of reality. If a
character dies in the past, not only does it affect his/her life. It alters any abstract
connection by others. Changing the historical prospects of their lives as well.
TRAVELING INTO THE FUTURE :
To travel into the future you must first
accept the concept of a parallel universe. A character can often undergo changes in
his/her own forms of reality if he/she chooses to go into the future. |
