I've never really encountered a shadow guy, but one time, i was talking to this chick at night and the ground just flashed red for a second. it was kinda wierd because nothing around us couild have made that light.

I think California is immune to shadow :P.

I think I posted in your topic about Shadow Creatures back in 2002... But whenever I've seen one (which has been vary rarely, but I have ran into one very recently) they always seem of human shape but are the very essence of negative light.

OK, I don't know if the others were true but this one is...I was very young. Probitily eight. I was lying in the top bunk of my bed thatr i share w/ my bro (Bottom bunk). I wake up for no reason at all, nv happened b4 and didnt happen again. Well the clock on the dresser read. 3:33 am. Now you have to understand my room was complete drak. Too big windows covered by think huge green draps. Well one night there was a square of light of my wall. No idea, how it got there. Not the curtains, no other way. Well, my door is ed open. When I hear the back door in the kitchen SLAM OPEN. I was scarred, being eight or so. At the same time my door blue open and i saw this man standing there. Made up of a shadow, and also if u blink ur eyes alot u get those colors, that too(for those who know what im talking about.) The man was dress like a man would be in the 30's. Hat, brefcase, etc. He walked across my room passes the bunk bed and into the wall, right were the square of light was. Now this sqaure was perfect, no flaws, and about the size of two ps2 held up together. The shadow walked right into the light and made a shadow in that. of a man with a hat, just his head. So there was this sqaure of light with a shadow of a mans head who just walked into the wall. The head looked like it turned around from walking past me to looking at me. I saw these red eyes on this creature. I was frozen. I sat there looking at this thing until 4:30 or so. After I got up enough courage to run into my mom's bedroom and sleep with her. I bolted and layed in her bed trying to forget wat happened. I awoke with my eyes close. Warm in covers and relized it was a dream. But when i woke up I was in my mothers bed with her next to me. Still stands as one of the scariest momments of my life...

My friend says he just saw one a little while ago! I'm glad this topic is still open. I plan on spending the night tomorrow to see if I can get it on (I would say film, but it's a digital camera), or get a picture of it.

He says he was taking the trash out to his back yard, which has a fence around it. This is the same friend who let his dog out and the dog whimpered.

And he saw something standing up 2 yards south of his yard. He bolted inside after seeing how big it was. His parents and some friends of theirs are going to the Super Bowl, so they'll be gone all weekend (which might be a curse).

I don't plan on going outside because after experiencing one of these things, you NEVER want to experience one ever again. But I'm going just to take a picture of it if it comes. This way I can have proof.

He said that the neighbor's pets were killed who owned the yard.

Damn this is real, and it's in my neighborhood. I want to go but I'm afraid that I'll be a coward when the time comes. These things are damn scary. I am not going to promise anything, except that I am going to spend the night at his house. The thing most likely won't even come back that night.

The sightings of this thing are happening more frequently than ever before. Does that mean something?

I'll post ASAP if something happens.

I would really appreciate it if you guys could keep your eyes open in your neighborhoods for a while. Just to see if you see anything also. And try to take pics if you do.

Seriously. I'd set a steak outside the backdoor and wait to see if it comes and gets it. Unless it's like the Trex in Jurassic Park, and doesn't want to be fed, if it wants to hunt.

I'd try that and set a motion detector on to alarm you of anything coming close to it.

To be honesty I've yet to see a Figure of a man clearly, Thou sometime when im alone in a dark room I fell like something is moving in the shadows. I haven't seen any thing that I was positive was there. but, recently I've been hearing Doors opening, footsteps,Drawers opening loud noises from outside,Things just dropping, ect. and, even more recently appliances have just been turning one and, off at random...I do remember something from when I was rather small about five or, six. I just woke up in the middle of the night, and as soon as a sat up. I saw what seemed to be my dog that had died a few years before. These are the events that opened my mind to Ghosts and, the paranormal.

Ok, back!

I couldn't see anything, but I think it is close like right now when I'm typing this. A few neighborhoods away, I could hear a dog barking extremely loud and rapidly like something was threatening it, then I heard it make some awful sounds like it was being brutally killed or mangled. Soon after, I never heard it again :( Poor dog. I love dogs.

We don't have any guns here in this house. But we're taking a daisy air gun outside with us in his backyard. There's an alley in the back of his house.

Ok let me explain the neighborhood. This isn't an inner city. This is a fairly small town. Houses have nice size yards, and there is almost all flat ground. Houses are spread a good distance apart, like maybe 12 - 16 feet apart. The frontyards go for about 20-30 feet. The backyards go about 50-70 feet. The yards are about 35-45 feet wide. Almost all the front yards in this neighborhood have trees in them. Then the backyard neighborhood is a whole nother story. This is like a whole new neighborhood in itself.

All the backyards have at least 2 trees in them. There is a chainlink fence, with a door and a latch on it surrounding his backyard. The bordering backyards have bushes all along the lengths of the backyards. Due to this, and other trees in the backyards, both in the middle, sides, and back of the yards, there is a lot of shade and shadows. There is a rock-asphalt alley in the back of the backyards. This is where the trash is picked up. He keeps the trash cans by the backdoor, just outside the backdoor by the house, since I wanted to explain that he didn't walk all the way out in his yard when he saw it. At the end of the alley, at the intersection of the alley and a street like a block away, is a street light. So it's kind of dim here. Just the way I like it. Perfect spying conditions. However, too dark to really notice important details.

But earlier tonight, just about 20 minutes ago, we heard trash cans being thrown around in the neighborhood into the alley. Only a person or something else that could pick them up and throw them could so something like this.

He's waiting outside right now with the air gun while I'm typing this. We don't want to get too far away, in case it steps out from behind us and we get trapped outside.

But I'll continue to hang around in his backyard with him and see if I see or hear anything wierd. I'll let you guys know ASAP. I have to go now. He's calling for me.

Ok when I went back out there, we didn't see it, but we think it was close. We could hear something walking in the grass nearby. I'm not sure about my friend, but I could sense evil. I am sure it was close. We never saw it though.

We waited a little while, after damn near running inside. After about a half hour - 45 minutes later, we think it went farther away to some other neighborhood because we heard more dogs barking farther away.

Nothing ever happened again last night. I am spending the night again tonight, though. We might actually wander around after it.

OK, ive been reading and posting on this site lately and I dont no if it was bc of it or if it was real but i saw another one last night. It is the weirdest thing. My sister had a friend over last night and we were all watching a movie. Well im goofing off and i fall off my loveseat on to the floor. I am really tired from school and eventually i fall asleep there b4 the movie ends. I wake up, its pitch black besides the light shining in from the kitchen (which is always on). I sit up, rub my eyes and look around the room. Now my living room is set up like this. Couch to a wall, loveseat on the wall beside it. TV opposite from the 1st couch, to the right is the dineing room, left is the door. BUT directly right to the TV are stairs up and then directly to the right of those stairs down (split level) Well, im looking around the room and i look at the TV, its off. I stand up, im cold bc A) im in Ohio (winter) and B) im on the floor. I crawl on the loveseat again pull my blanket over me and shut my eyes. My sister is moving around on the floor, just casually shifting in sleep so I open my eyes and look at her. She is on the floor in front of the TV, I look at the TV again and the time is 3:33am. (Read My 1st post Pg.41 bottom.) Well, im offically uneasy at the momment remember my room bc i wrote my 1st post a day or two b4. Im scanning the room with my eyes, but i look up the stairs. There was another one of them. Not there one from b4, this one was in the hallway of the stairs, facing away from my room. It was very short 5ft or so, but pudgy, truthfully i couldnt tell, it had a "cloak thing thing on" ya no a hooded cape. It was black with swirls of dark red inside it, like an off tint of red. I instantly shut my eyes and kept them that way till i fell asleep. I no its crazy and sounds made up but again, I CAN ASSURE YOU IM TELLING YOU THE TRUTH. Ive also come to the conculsion i really dont like the time 3:33am..

wow I just read the whole topic and I don't think I'll be able to go to bed tonight.

anyways I've had a shadow creature type experience twice. The first time was when I was about 7. I awoke in the middle night and in the corner of the room I saw something that to this day is hard to explain. This thing was pitch black and was about 3 to 4 feet tall while crouching down. Before I forget I guess you guys may want to know what my room looked like.

Yes I know that description sucks but bear with me.

Anyways, so I saw this thing crouching there not looking at me, it had its head down actually. So there it was, I didn't know what it was doing and I was to chicken to run towards the door seeing as it might make an attempt to grab me. So I watched it for what seemed like an eternity but was really about 10 minutes. Now here I don't know what got into me, I may have been watching a little too much Indiana Jones that night and I was beginning to feel brave. I just started talking to it, saying pretty stupid things. The next thing I know it was standing up and it turned toward me. The next part is shady in my memory, but I remember it just leaping toward me and then I guess I went unconscious for awhile, but had the most vivid dream up to date of me killing all my friends and family and then killing the president and becoming world ruler. And that was creepy because I would never kill any of my friends or family.

Anyways I awoke a couple minutes later or so and found out I pissed myself and learned to never piss off a spirit.

I have another story to tell in my next post, but first it's time for dinner.

So I ran home, (forgot I had a car), and when I got home I passed out, then I woke up and remembered I was going home to tell you! ~ AAA

I think I have had an experience with these things.

First i'll tell about the time when I was a little kid. It was about my bedtime, and my parents told me to go tot he bathroom so i wouldn't piss myself. So i went to do my business. Right in front of the toilet there is a window. I looked out the window and saw 2 greenish/yellow eyes, and ran my ass off.


This story is a little longer. Me and two friends decided to go camping 50 feet from his house so we could use the extenstion cord and play videogames and have a stereo and everything. Well, it was 1 in the morning (yes i had an alarm clock in there too,) and i was using the light from the TV to play LTTP on my GBA. All of the sudden i heard this high pitched squawking, but it didn't sound anything like the bird. It sounded like the screech two people heard coming from a shadow creature earlier in the topic. It sounded about 100 feet away. I sat listening for a while, then I decided i had to piss like a mofo. so i walked inside and did my business and jumped back in the tent. after another 5 minutes. i woke up my friends. We sat there listening, it was still coming from about 100 feet away. Then it got really loud, and i heard something moving right outside the tent. it sounded like it had moved that distance in under 3-5 seconds. I was holding on to the extremely heavy XBOX, ready to smash it over the head if it came near the entrance of the tent. After a few minutes it sounded far away again. At this point we were curious and poked our heads outside of the tent. We heard the squawks, but saw nothing. Then my friends neighbor comes outside and starts up his car and turns the lights on. The sound stopped. After he left in his car it started back up again. We decided to just go to sleep.

To this day we don't know what it was, we told my friends mom, and she said it was probably an injured bird. It could've been, but it sounded nothing like a bird.

Dude. I've seen something like this. I have like this bunk bed (don't share it) and I slept on the top bunk (bottom now) I looked over (I sleep with my lights on, thanks to these topics) and there was this thing. It was tall as the door but child like. The hands were too big ( 5 times as big as a cd case) to be anything human. I froze. Just sat there watching it. It seemed like forever, but the hand (which was around my light switch near the door) moved down, which would have shut off my light. My light shut-off. I almost pissed myself. The hand moved up as if turning it on. It turned on, but he wasn't there anymore. I just stayed in a place somewhere between dream and reality, wanted subconciously to sleep and forget, but consciously, sleep wouldn't move me out and away from it. I later found out, a very short power outage-y thing had happened, but jesus! Right when that happened?! I mean come on people! The odds of this being purely coincidental are slimmer than an anorexic in an exercise room!!

I had an encounter with something last night.

First here is a basic layout of my room with the desk, closet door, bed, cabinet, and door.

I woke up in the middle of the night because I heard something. I looked at the clock to see what time it was, but the clock had messed up like in a power outage, and it blinked 12:00. So a power outage or something had messed up my clock just now. I looked around my room, and sitting in between my desk and my closet door was....something. It was all black, only 2-3 ft tall. It just sat there. I couldnt really make out features, but i could make out a general shape. It had all the basic human features. (arms, legs, head.) I was scared, of course, but It was more of a feeling of discomfort.
I started to sweat, and could feel my heart starting to beat faster. I must have stared for ten minutes or so, when I heard something else. My dog (not very big, a ****zu) came running in, and when it saw the thing, started barking its head off. The thing like...i dontknow how to say, but just sunk into the wall. My dog was left standing there, and he started running around my room, sniffing and whining. I looked at the clock. it blinked 12:33. I fell asleep within the next hour, but I kept looking around my room, just to ease my fears.

Turns out when i woke up that there was no power outage. My clock was the only one that had been messed up. So i looked at my cell phone to see what time it was. It was 11:30. the clock now blinked 7:57. I did the math and it turns out that i saw the thing at....3:33. ****

Im really unseated right now, I dont wanna go to sleep again.

I walk over to my mini blinds...and pull the curtain shut over them. But before I can pull it shut, something walks away from the window!!!

You know how there are shadows that you don't notice because they are there for so long and still? This was like that. I noticed the shadow, but didn't think anything of it. It was like on the edge of the window, so it didn't have the full shape of someone.

But when I walked over to the window, it took off...there is nothing else it could have been except the shadow creature. My window is too far off the ground.

The thing is... I didn't sense any evil or hostility, etc. Maybe it can be stealth if it wants to? God damn, now I won't be able to sleep tonight!!!
