==Why should I believe in these astrology signs?==

For me, astrology makes a lot of sense. I see it very much as symbolism and I truly believe that other planets influence our lives unconsiously. It's just like how the moon influences tides, planets influence our soul vibrations. I don't believe in astrology in magazines, we're talking about millions of people relying on that little statement? No way... but generally looking at zodiacs it gives an insight to yourself.
N.B When looking through the zodiacs, some things may apply to you, some may not. It also helps to look at the symbols for the planets (below) and the "elements" page.

==Explanation of the symbols==

The Sun~ The symbol for the sun is a circle with a dot in the middle. The circle signifies infinity with no beginning and no end. The dot in the centre of the circle signifies the heart of humanity, like an inner light.
The Moon~ The symbol for the moon is a cresent made up loosely from two semi-circles. This semi-circle represents half the sun which means it isn't the sun but it still gives off light (which is true- the moon reflects the light from the sun)It is also the representation of the waxing moon.
Mercury~ The symbol for mercury is made up of a semi-circle/crescent, circle and a cross. The circle represents the sun and moon but with the crescent on top of it, this light is open to the universe. The cross beneath it is a symbol of Earth and is there to support the circle and semi-circle. It combines physical (earth) with consciousness (the circle and crescent) which often links it with communication.
Venus~ The symbol for venus is the same as mercury except it doesn't have the crescent sitting on top of the circle. This symbol is related to the Egyptian symbol for life the Ankh. It represents the Earth and Sun.
Earth~ The symbol for earth is the cross inside the circle. This could represent literally the earth, the circle and the centre of earth. It could also mean that the circle of infinity and spirit surrounds humanity and their body.
Mars~ A circle and a cross lying slightly slanted to the right on top of it is the symbol for mars. It is like the opposite of the symbol for venus. As the cross is pointing outwards zodiacs ruled by mars tend to look for new experiences whereas zodiacs ruled by venus tend to try and create new experiences for themselves.
Jupiter~ The symbol for jupiter is a crescent resting on and to the left of a cross. It signifies that it struggles to reach that higher state of mind, starting from the physical cross to the crescent. It represents that some situations are often beyond conscious experiences.
Saturn~ This symbol is made up of a cross with a crescent to the right and at the bottom of it. This is like the opposite of jupiter, where zodiacs ruled by saturn have to look inside of themselves to find answers to questions beyond conscious recognition.
Uranus~ This symbol is made up of a cross sitting on top of a circle with a straight line either side of the cross. This shows that the soul/spirit is deep within the body (the cross) which is often lead by intellect but often without many emotions.
Neptune~ A crescent resting on top of the cross. It sort of looks like a trident. Each 'prong' to the symbol represents a form of human consciousness. It is like a battle between body and mind. It is also closely associated with water a lot fo the time since it is called the trident.
Pluto~ A crescent sits on top of a cross and the crescent cradles a circle in the middle of it. It almost is the sign of humanity, with the body at the bottom, the mind and then the spirit. Both body and mind are together cradling in it the soul.
