Angels. Aren't they part of Christianity? Angels are in every religion there is, it isn't limited to just one religion. Each religion view them differently, the traditional way is a male/female with bright white furry wings. On my little path of angel discovery they are everything- a fuzzy colour, a warm feeling, a smell etc. On the topic of wings... I think it's how you want angels to appear to you... wings signify freedom so angels having wings show they are free from everything, like gravitational limits, human limits etc. and can be everywhere and anywhere at once to ensure that they are always with you. (phew, went a bit deep for me there)

Either way angels come from the Spirit/Source/God/Goddess, from everyone. The way I see it though, angels are not relatives. Guardian angels can be and spirit guides certainly are but angels are not... I'll try to explain later in more depth. Angels protect us, guide us, teach us the purest form of life (goodness, kindness etc.)

Why can't I see angelsThey are not often seen because as they come from the Source they have high vibrations, their whole energy and being moves so quick the human eye cannot see. Humans/animals have strong/heavy vibrations so we can see each other. However, with determination and commitment you can train yourself and open up your third eye to see and feel your angels prescence.
Are all angels male/female?Despite pictures depicting angels as male/female they do not have a set sexuality. They just present themselves to us with what we are most comfortable with. The reason they have no body or sexuality is because they are like a pure energy form, their vibrations are too high to ever fit into a human form.

How come my Guardian Angel isn't around when I'm upset then? I often think that but I've learnt that when you're upset, your emotional levels are just all over the place creating a maze of negative emotions surrounding you and that's really hard for your angel to get to you. Try calming down, centering yourself and ask for your guardian angel's help. It always helps to ask because they cannot help you without your permission. Although at times they can save your life without your permission as such although I'm pretty sure you'd want to stay alive!

• Close your eyes and feel yourself drifting to sleep. Your breathing is slow and relaxed
• Relax all your body, concentrate on each part and tell it to relax. Release any tension and concentrate on parts which normally have a lot of tension- neck, spine, legs.
• Visualise a long, long hallway where the walls and floors are glowing light. You can see the light and it is peaceful, inviting and healing, see yourself slowly walking down the hallway with your angel next to you
• At the end of the hallway you see a shimmering portal and this is the doorway to the angelic elevator. As you both get closer, the door opens
• You go in hand in hand and one of your angel's wings is wrapped around your back, protecting you, and you both step into the elevator
• Once you get in, your body is bathed in warm, pure light and it soothes your body from head to toe
• You watch as your angel extends the tip of it's wing to press one of the glowing buttons
• The elevator door closes and you and your angel slowly rise up into your dreams
• If you are working affirmation, repeat it now, slowly several times over
• If you would like to ask a specific question or want a specific dream ask your angel now
• Notice your breathing again and feel yourself drifting off the sleep now
