After checking out my website here at school, as well as reading Dusty's blog entry, I realized that Angelfire is becoming ridiculous with their ads and such. Upon realizing this I decided that I would get a journal, which I did this morning before my class at bravejournal.com. I'll be doing all my journals there from now on, so this site is pretty much void of anything besides my archived journals. I will update sometimes here with pictures or poems or writings, but beyond that I won't be doing anything else here. I'll have my updates at my bravejournal if I do add anything to my site. So for future reference here's the URL: seph14.bravejournal.com. Enjoy...later.

I went to Ashley's house Thursday night. We had ham for supper which was pretty good. The rest of the night was spent playing Playstation with her and her brother Mike. I'm not sure how long we played but it was a fairly long time. Sooner or later I got a headache, so I wanted to quit. I pretty much layed down and fell asleep till my headache went away. By that time I was really tired so I got ready for bed. I slept on the couch which is a first since I've always slept on the floor there. Ashley woke me up in the morning which was nice. I got ready quick and then headed to work after a glass of apple juice which I haven't since I don't even know when. I had about enough of work for the week, not that I dislike work, but it was so boring. So Friday's freshman orientation came and went. That girl never came in, but oh well. It looks as though we still may have a spot, maybe this girl just is coming to a different orientation. The rest of the day I just tried to keep myself occupied as much as possible. It was hard though being that I really didn't have too much to do. Eventually though 4:30 came around, and I was able to get out of there. I got some gas to kill time, and then headed to the mall to wait for Ashley to get off work. Once she finally did we headed back to her house. We ate our supper, fish which was pretty good, and then decided to go to the drive-in. We could have went to Ashley's friend's house that's pretty much right by her, or go to Tyler's since he told me we could go there if nothing else came up, but we decided to go to the movies instead. We watched Dodgeball and Day After Tomorrow. Dodgeball wasn't too bad. It was better than I thought it would be from the looks of it, so that was good. Day After Tomorrow wasn't too good. I wasn't very impressed with it. Before the second movie I went to get popcorn which I wasn't pleased about because I thought I had gotten the one for 2.75, but instead it was the one for 3.95, so I wasted money on that. I'm not sure what time it was when both movies were over, maybe about 1:30. I took Ashley home, and then made my way home. I arrived there around 3 in the morning and went directly to bed. Saturday morning I got up at noon and then had my breakfast/lunch. Right after that I went to the church and cleaned that. The rest of they day I just sat around. I did help my mom clean a bit and helped my dad mow, but not too much. It was about the same for today. Once church was over I pretty much sat around doing nothing. I did work on my program that's due for Tuesday. Nothing else to really report that's of worth. Nancy's back tomorrow at work, so I'm sure there will be things to get done. At least that will give me something to do...night

My Event-Driven Programming class is getting somewhat interesting now that we're actually doing programs with code, rather than using the visual logic program that writes the code for you pretty much. Being that that's the case, the class goes by a lot faster than it did for the first week and a half. We have a test in there next week, probably on Thursday, but it shouldn't be too bad at all. He gave us a problem today that would be similar to problems on the test and it was really easy, so I should do well. Work has been really dull this week. I'm here by myself, so I don't have too much work to do. With all this free time I've been looking for web comics to read. I've found a couple. One that I like pariticulary is Loserz. I've just been using Buzzcomix to look for good comics. It's been fairly decent. Other than web comics, I've been playing a lot of Euchre online and some poker as well. It's all I can do to keep from going crazy from being so bored. As well, I've held off from updating at night, so I'll have something to do while I'm here at work. Tonight I'm headed to Ashley's house to spend the night, so that should be pretty good. I have to help out with freshman orientation tomorrow at work which should be alright. Also, I think there's a girl named Ashley coming in to see about getting the last spot working here in the office in the fall. I'll see how that goes. I'm not sure, but I'll see if she comes in. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going Friday night. I may see if Ashley wants to go the drive-in or something up in Brookville if the weather is alright. I'm not sure. But that will all come soon enough...later

The rest of my weekend was decent I suppose. I sat around most of Saturday morning since I didn't really feel like doing anything anyways. I got showered and everything then made my way to my church to start cleaning up after the little kids from Bible school. You know what the worst thing was to clean?? The girls' bathroom. Now you would figure that girls would keep their bathroom clean. I mean, it's just something you would think because girls are just like that supposedly. Well when I opened the door I found toilet paper rolled out all over the floor, paper towels on the floor from washing their hands, who all knows what on the toilet seats, and unflushed toilets. I have to say when I went to the boys' bathroom it was clean. The only thing that was there was one unflushed toilet. That just goes to show that boys are so much cleaner than girls in general. Vacuuming took up most of my time. I did that in about and hour and a half when it usually takes me about 40 minutes. While I cleaned I listened to the new Clarks CD about 3 times before I finished. Afterwards I made my way towards Clarion. I went to McDonalds to eat and as soon as I stepped in the door I received a call from Keith who said he just saw me pass the old Gulf gas station. So I got my food to go and went there to eat with Keith and Nicole. It was alright. Keith left after awhile to go eat somewhere, so Nicole and I sat and talked till Ashley called at about 7. I was going to go see Chronicles of Ridick if she didn't call, but she did so I headed to her house then. We pretty much sat out on the porch for most of the night. We went in at 12:30 and watched tv until I had to leave. It was a pretty decent night. Sunday I didn't do too much of anything. I did wash my car then proceed to remove the tar on it that had splattered up all over both front doors. Being that I did that, my hands smelled of Kerosene all day long and my rubber bands still reek of the smell. I didn't too much of anything productive after that other than work more on my VB program. After being able to sleep in for two days coming back to work and school on Monday wasn't too grand. I finally finished up the stupid work that the on professor gave me. I was glad to finish that up. We had a quiz in class that I only missed one on, so that's a good sign that the class won't be hard at all. The rest of the day drug on, but it was alright since I did work all last week and all morning as well. After work, I went home for supper. Afterwards Ashley called and said she'd be over, so I sat down and played some Red Faction 2 until she showed up. We watched tv all night. I was highly disappointed with the ending of the show WB Superstar U.S.A.. You would think that the people who couldn't sing would be somewhat pissed or something when they were told that they suck and really can't sing, but they weren't. I wasn't pleased at all. That's about it. I'm here at work for now, and the rest of the day as well...later

My first week back after vacation has finally come to a close. The week hasn't been too great I suppose, but I guess it's not been too bad either. It was pretty cool on Thursday morning. My professor came in and gave me a sweatshirt from the kids on the soccer team and it has my name on the sleave and a card as well. That was really cool of them. I wasn't expecting anything at all, and to get something made me feel pretty good. So I'm sure I'll be helping out in the fall when they play too. It should be fun. I also had to help that girl out again on her homework. It's getting sort of annoying. She basically comes in and says I don't know how to do this, will you help. Me being the nice guy that I am go and do it, but still, it's not something I enjoy doing much. But anyways, during the afternoon I worked on my graphics assignment due Monday, and I think it turned out pretty cool. I'm pleased with it at least. When I came home we had pizza for dinner which was pretty good. Then I worked on getting used to VB .NET. It took some time, but I'm getting the hang of it now. It's pretty interesting actually. I stayed up waiting for Ashley to get online, but by 11 she didn't show. I was going to go to bed, but I thought I'd stay up to see. I got bored, so I played some Warcraft. Tyler was online so I played a game with him. Once I was done I was fairly tired so I quit that and saw some messages from Ashley. I was tired, so I just went to bed pretty much directly after. I had the office all to myself today. I can't say that I was bored though because stupid Dr. Kennedy gave me all kinds of shit work to do. So that kind of pisses me off. Not that I have to do it, but that it's her job to do her work, not mine. It's ridiculous stuff too like sorting old papers for her to keep, which I see as pretty much useless. I'm still not finished with it after working at it for 4 hours. After I was done with work at 4:30 I made a delivery across campus then went and ate at Bob's Subs. It wasn't too bad. Then I made my way to the mall at about 5:30 and went inside to K-mart and found the new Clarks CD, Fast Moving Cars, which is a very good CD. I'd highly recommend it. I finally left there at 6, but I still hadn't received any calls from Ashley or any messages, so I went to Tyler's. It wasn't too bad. We played some Nightfire, Basketball, and Halo. Betsey came over eventually. And that's about it. I have to clean my church tomorrow. It's going to be a mess because of Bible school this week. Yeah, I'm not looking forward to it. And other plans?? Hell if I know. We'll see...night

I thought I'd put in another entry today for the fun of it. My mom rode with me today so I had to drop her off before I headed to work. I got there and did some regular opening of the office. Nancy came in eventually, and then the girl who I helped out yesterday came in asking for more help. I practically did her homework for her although it only took about 30 seconds. I think she's mooching off my knowledge for computers. I let her borrow my Visual Logic cd so she brought that back as well. Work was pretty dull this morning. Well it was dull all day long actually. Class wasn't too bad. We messed around with Visual Logic and graphics, and then we started to look at the actual VB .NET software. That was pretty interesting. Then back to the office whre I ate my lunch: spaghettio's, cheetos, Pepsi, and an apple. It was a pretty big lunch compared to most of my other lunches I usually eat. In my boredom I found another web comic to read which was really good I think. It's called Joe Average. It's sort of more realistic, but it has it's funny parts. I would suggest it for some entertainment. I spent a lot of time at work reading through the archives of the web comic. I also had to go down to the TV studio and work on throwing away old junk and cleaning up the place. There was a tone of junk down there. I didn't even want to touch half the stuff I found. I made sure to wash my hands well after I finished that. Since I didn't go out to lunch I only had to work till 4 so that was good at least. On the way home we got Bob's Subs for dinner and my mom had me stop at Wal-mart to pick up pictures from the beach. Once I was home I decided I should attempt to clean out my rat cage because it was starting to stink. It took me awhile and the bottom of the cage still has stuff on it, but I got tired of scrubbing. I think I fixed the stink problem though, and that's what I was aiming for. I also started dl music from The Postal Service. Dusty did reccommend this band to me before but when I wrote it down on paper, the paper was lost on my desk, and I never dl anything by them. At the beach Keith played that cd and they were really good so I decided that I would do that. I helped my dad mow which really sucked because when I was done my allergies were acting up all kinds of horrible. I had to resort to taking allergy pills, so now I'm pretty tired. Hmmm, I suppose that's about it. I guess today wasn't so bad. So go summer go...night

Yesterday wasn't too bad of a day, although I had to get up fairly early for the first time in over a week. I wasn't too pleased with that, but I got by. I was tired during the day though, so that wasn't so great. Work didn't seem to last too long, but it was still long enough. My first day of my Event-Driven Programming class wasn't too bad. It was just pretty much review of basics, so I didn't learn too much of anything. At least the class didn't seem long being that it's 2 hours. That was a good thing at least. During my 30 minute lunch break I went down to student accounts to pay off my bill for my class. The rest of the afternoon at work was spent playing euchre online. After I was done at 4:30 I headed to my car which was across campus since they were paving the little way past where I usually park. I called Tyler on my walk and Ashley as well, then headed to Tyler's house where I spent the rest of the night, pretty much in his room. We watched tv and played some video games. Jimmy showed up later and then Ashley arrived after that. Nothing to exciting happened. I left around 10:45 since I had to get up in the morning, and I had to stop and get gas before I went home. Today was slightly eventful. I got to miss out on freshman orientation and scheduling this morning since I had my class which is good. I usually have to do stupid errands then like run slips around for kids and help them out which sort of sux, but oh well. Class was pretty uneventful. Afterwards the one girl from my class came up and asked me if I could come to her apartment and help her set up her VB .NET since she was having trouble with it, so I said for her to just meet me at my office after work and then I'd do that. During lunch I went to the bank to cash my check and then went to Subway to order a sub for my lunch. The afternoon dragged on at work which was really crappy. I could have fallen asleep if I would have been able to. 4:30 came eventually and so I went to this girl's apartment to install the software. It took about 30 minutes, so we sat and talked while I did that. I came home to find chicken patties and mac-n-cheese leftover for me. I ate that and walked a little tv before I decided to wash my car, which should have been done awhile ago. That took awhile, but I eventually finished and polished a few rough spots on it. I didn't do much the rest of the night, just sat around. I prolly should read some of my VB book, but I'm sure I prolly won't. Oh well, summer classes are easy...night

I’m finally back home after a week of being in North Carolina in the Outer Banks. I have to say that it was a pretty good trip for the most part. I can’t recall too many bad happenings that occurred during the time that was spent there. I’ll try not to be boring with all the events that took place, but I’ll recall some of them at least. The trip down wasn’t too bad. I slept for short spurts while Ashley slept at other times. A bad thing I did find out on the way down is that I no longer have a DVD decoder on my laptop, so that pretty much meant that taking my computer along was pointless. I guess when my computer messed up over Christmas break, I didn’t have the software to reinstall. I don’t know if I’ll go and buy some software or not. It’s not a real big deal that I don’t have a DVD player on my computer. I don’t recall the last time I watched a DVD on my computer anyway. I’d say it was probably on the way to the beach last year. Instead of watching movies, I played single player mode of Warcraft which took up some of the time in the car. I believe we finally arrived at the reality place around 4, maybe 4:30. We got our things then waited for about 10 minutes till Keith arrived. It worked out quite well because he wasn’t far behind us when we got down there. A lot of the week was spent watching TV and movies inside. It wasn’t the best weather down there, but it was nice. It was, I’d say, around 85 on average down there. I believe it got up into the low 90’s on some of the days. The ocean was actually warm this year compared to last year, although I only got into the ocean once. I did enjoy it though, it’s always a good thing. We played volleyball one night which was pretty fun. We attempted to teach Buzz, my little brother’s friend, to play Euchre as well as Keith. Keith got it; I don’t believe Buzz did. We played poker one night as well. I only got into the hot tub once; I think that was the first night we were there, or maybe the second, I can’t quite recall. I also only got into the pool once. One would seem to think that I had a fear of water, or maybe it’s that I have a fear of outside, haha. I did get some sun, and thanks to Ashley’s bad suntan lotion application skills, my right shoulder was burnt with an odd shape on it. Oh well, what can you do I suppose. Needless to say, I don’t believe I’ll be tan at all from my beach experience. It’s alright though, I’m not the tanning type. I believe it was Wednesday that we went souvenir shopping. I bought a sweet green t-shirt that says Mickey’s Fine Malt Liquor. I didn’t buy it for the logo, but I really like the shirt itself. That’s the only thing I bought. I didn’t feel like wasting my money on useless souvenirs. After our shopping excursion, we headed to Hooter’s for wings. It was the five of us: Keith, Ashley, my little brother and his friend, and myself. It was alright. Hooter’s wings aren’t the best, but it wasn’t bad. I got my crab birthday dinner finally on Friday evening. It was very good, so I was content with that, although it’s really expensive for such little food. There’s not much else to recall other than Buzz and my little brother feebly attempting to get some action from two girls that were in the same house as us. A lot of the second part of the week was spent having Buzz bug me for alcohol which I let him and my brother share 3 Mike’s Light Lemonades. The end of my vacation ended rather bad because in checking my CD case I realized that my LOTR: ROTK DVD was missing, and so I was pissed off for pretty much the remainder of the trip. Luckily though, it’s been located, and I should have it returned to me by tomorrow evening. Other small happenings during the week was me owning at the Ms. Pac Man arcade game that we had at the house, although I really didn’t have much of a challenge other than little kids; looking for purple sea shells for Ashley during the week; being a good guy and making meals for Ashley; being pissed off for each game the Pacers lost; hmmm I can’t think of other stuff, but I’m sure things happened. Upon arriving home last night, I unpacked my things quick, and then took Ashley home. I spent the rest of the evening there until midnight when I finally went home. It was nice to sleep in my own bed. Today was my last soccer game since the next one is away on Wednesday, and I don’t feel like driving to it. We won 4-2, so we played well. The rest of the day was spent here installing Visual Basic .NET onto my computer. It’s a huge program, almost 8 GB with all the libraries and everything put together. I’m down to a very small amount of disk space on my hard drive, so hopefully I won’t need to install anything to large in the next 5 weeks, being that that’s how long my summer class will last. That all starts tomorrow. I’m working at 8 in the morning until my class starts at 10 and lasts till noon, then a short lunch break and work until 4:30, so my days will be quite full for the time being. At least I’ll be getting more credits out of the way now instead of later. Well I spent. I’ve had an enjoyable week, so hopefully it will all carry over into this summer. We’ll see…night
