5/27/04
This might be my last post for the next week since I'm heading out to the beach Saturday morning, and I highly doubt I'll be online tomorrow night. I may get online and post down there since we'll have an internet connection at the beach house we're staying in, but I'm not sure. I suppose I will see how it goes. I prolly won't have much to report that's too exciting, but maybe. Only time will tell. But back to my uneventful life. Yesterday work was horribly drole. The day seemed to drag on forever for some reason. I believe it was because there was no work to do. I eventually just started typing names to see if the domain actually worked on IE. I came across dumb.com which wasn't all that bad. I spend a good deal looking at stupid signs. A lot of them were pretty funny. You should check them out. I was also at bored.com which was what referred me to the previous site. There were a few interesting things on there, but not much. Once work was finally over I went to wal-mart where I picked up a bottle of water, only because I had to drink a fair amount for my appointment at the hospital today. And after I went out to county park and talked to Ashley for a pretty short time. I then proceeded to practice soccer by myself for an hour or so. About 30 minutes in I realized that my necklace that Ashley's parents bought me in Florida had fallen off, the second occurence of this event. I spent the next 15 minutes scouring the field looking for it. I finally did find it. Next time I'll make sure to remove it before I do any strenuous activity. Practice wasn't too bad. At the end we had the little kids vs. the adults which was interesting being that the adults were fairly old and slow moving, but it was a pretty good time. And then today. I had to get up at 5 frickin' 30. That's way early for me, so I've been tired most of the day. My trip to Brookville was tiring, but I only waited for about 5 minutes there before they took me in for my ultrasound. I also had an x-ray done which I didn't know was part of the trip. Then off to lovely Clarion for work. The day went by a little faster, maybe because I realized that I have a day till I leave for the beach. Who knows, but all I know is that it did go faster. After work I went to my church and cleaned and spent the rest of the night at home. I watched Coyote Ugly which wasn't the best movie in the world, although it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. So in the end it was decent, but maybe only because I thought it would be completely horrible. I go into work late tomorrow, 9:30, since I'm working till 4:30. Then I'm headed to the cinema to meet up with Ashley and watch Troy finally. Hoping for the best, for the movie and for all next week...night

My doctor's appointment yesterday morning wasn't all that great. I didn't exactly enjoy the doctor all that much. We were there for about 45 minutes about 30 of them were spent with him telling us about government and jobs, and how there aren't any jobs for his sons who came over from India. I was about ready to tell him to shut the fuck up. The other thing that didn't make me so happy was that I have to go back to Brookville hospital Thursday morning at 7:15 to get an ultrasound on my kidneys, and I'm going to have to get surgery regardless of what test results come back from that. It's just not a very good thing. I'm none too pleased about it, but I guess there's nothing else I can do about it. In other news, I started up a new writing project that I believe I'm looking forward to doing. I have some good ideas for it, but I don't know if it will all come together. Hopefully it does. Today wasn't all that much better. I did buy LOTR: The Return of the King at Wal-mart on the way home. I watched it when I did get home. It was still pretty good, but I only saw it once in theatres on the day it came out, so it was good to get to watch it again finally. Nothing else to really say. Work has been dull, and I don't see it being exciting anytime soon. I get the office to myself on Friday, so that's a plus, and then off to the beach early Saturday...night

Last entry I forgot to mention that I got a brand new computer chair to replace my old, squeaky brown one that I did have. This one is much better. I suppose it was one of my birthday presents although I had to do all the assembly on my own, but it gave me something to do I suppose. Anyways, soccer practice on Saturday was really wet. The whole field was like a big mud puddle, so I wasn't too pleased about that. Oh well, the kids seemed to enjoy it. After practice I called Tyler to see if he was at home and if I could come out there. Before I headed there though, I went to Dairy Queen and got the footlong hot dog meal. It was pretty good. I spent the rest of the day with Tyler. I started to play Ninja Gaiden. It's a pretty hard game, but it was fun. I'm not sure how I long I played it, but it was quite some time. After I finally gave up (Those damn dinosaurs), Tyler started to play his game. He ended up beating it, and pretty much right after that we headed out to lickin strips. It was pretty crappy out there. Nothing was really going on, and the people there, well they weren't really people who I think I would get along with all that well. I think Tyler felt the same way and we left after about an hour or so of standing there. We headed over to, I think, Andy's sister or stepsister's house, I'm not really sure. It was a pretty good time there. The people were all drunk and funny, so it was decent. After awhile Jimmy decided he wanted to go to the strips, so the three of us headed back to Tyler's. I just decided to go home, and those two headed out there. After church this morning, I had Sunday lunch then made my way to Dubois for a soccer game. We lost 5-1, but it was 1-1 after the first half. The kids just got tired, and so it all went downhill. They played well though. I've been sitting around the rest of the remainder of the night here. So tomorrow morning I have to take my car in to Nolf's to drop it off and get it inspected. Then I'm off to my doctor's appointment in Brookville. It doesn't look like it will be a good morning, but I've I'll have to wait and see. The end of the week brings vacation, so I'll have something to look forward to at least...night

The past week hasn't been too bad I suppose. I was working almost everyday this week except Wednesday. Not too much happened on Monday. Tuesday I did some stuff. After work was over I headed out to Tyler's house were we messed around playing basketball outside and video games. I finally beat VIII although the ending was really stupid. It pretty much just said, to be continued. Anyways, after that we watched some of the basketball game, and I headed back to Clarion at 10 to go watch Shrek 2 with Ashley. I guess it was a showing just for the employees there and one person they wanted to take along, so that was cool. The movie wasn't the greatest. I believe I liked the first one better, but I suppose it was an alright movie. Not the greatest. I would say to wait till it's on television though. Then it was back to Ashley's house for the night. In the morning we got ready to go shopping, then left about 11:45 for Butler. I had a pretty good time. Ashley bought me 3 shirts and lunch as well for my b-day. I bought myself a pair of khaki shorts and then two pairs of Adidas shorts. It was fun just hanging out at the mall and shopping. After shopping we headed over to Jimmy and Tyler's apartment, although I think they're all moved out now. It was just something to do. Finally it was back to Ashley's until I left at 11. Thursday at work was decent. Nancy bought me donuts and a cappuccino for my birthday, although the cappuccino was sort of crappy. It made my stomach a little upset, but the one donut I had was good. It was a cake donut, but was it was like banana type cake, so it was good. My birthday yesterday wasn't all that great, but most birthdays for me are fairly dull. Ashley came over later that night and brought me cookies and some cologne, Curve, and her parents and little brother bought me a necklace when they were down in Florida, so that was nice of them. I suppose it was a decent birthday in the end. I didn't get my crab legs dinner that I wanted for my birthday dinner, but that's alright. Parmesan chicken sufficed. Today was pretty boring at work. We've finally made it to the point where we don't really have anything to do, so it will be like this for a good deal of the summer. This means playing games online, and that's about it. What fun. I cleaned my church tonight, which was oh k I guess. Tomorrow I have soccer in the morning, then I believe I'm hanging out with Tyler and going to a party later on. I'll see how that goes...night

Friday I just cleaned my church. Nothing exciting. I really didn't have anything to do. I did call Keith to see what he was up to. I guess he just forgot about coming in on Monday about the job in the Comm department. I guess some girl is going to be getting the job now. Saturday wasn't so bad. I had soccer practice in the morning which sort of wasn't too great because it was raining, and I got soaked. Afterwards I went and ate at McDonalds. That seems to be the only place I eat out at anymore. Pretty soon I'm going to be a regular there if this keeps up. The only reason I go there is because it's the cheapest place, well besides Taco Bell I suppose. Ashley called while I was there, so I talked to her while I ate and then headed to her house when I was finished eating. I can't say I had the best time there. It turned out sort of crappy, but it's alright. It'll all be alright. So eventually she had to head to work, so then I went to Tyler's where I found Keith as well. We sat around playing video games. Dusty showed up later. Keith left a little afterwards, and I eventually went to the living room to watch the basketball game, which turned out to be pretty good. The paces won so now they're 1 game up. Betsey showed up while Tyler and I were watching the game. Dusty attempted to figure out Tyler's router problem. I'm not sure if he did finally get it working right or not. Anyways, after the Pacer's game we watched some of the Laker's game till we decided to play XIII on the X Box. It was a pretty good time. I enjoyed myself. I left around 12:30 because of church in the morning. Today was pretty much uneventful. I played a good amount of Warcraft and watched some tv. Not much else really happened. I'm back to the grind tomorrow...night

So it's been my first full week off of school for summer vacation. It's been fair I'd say. Work hasn't been too grand, although I've been fairly busy doing things, so I guess it makes the day go by much faster than it normally would. I'm sure after awhile things will slow down quite a bit and there really won't be anything to do in the office, but anyways, Ashley came over on Tuesday. It wasn't too bad of a time. I did change my oil while she was there, and I was also really tired. I now know never to take allergy pills when I don't want to be tired. I took some because my eyes were really itchy and that did me in for the night. At least now I know that if I need to fall asleep I can just take some of those. So that wasn't so good, but oh well, nothing I could do about it. Wednesday brought some not so good news. Ashley broke her foot, so she's been down about that. I had soccer practice, so I went to it early and practiced by myself for an hour or so then practiced with the little kids, and finally made my way out to Ashley's. She didn't seem to happy when i got there, and I guess I can't blame here. I wouldn't be happy if I broke my foot either. I did my best to make her feel better although I don't know if I succeeded or not. What also isn't so great is now that she has a cast, it will make things hard for the whole beach trip. Oh life, always kicking people in the asses for no good reason. But maybe things won't be so bad, and the whole trip will turn out really great. I'm hoping so, and I'll find out soon enough. Hmmmm, I rotated the tires on my car tonight and that was about it. Tomorrow I'll be cleaning my church and nothing more. Hopefully I'll find something fun to do after practice Saturday morning. No game this Sunday because it was cancelled. It gives me more time to sit around. Oh yeah, Keith never showed up on Monday to talk to Nancy about the job in the fall. I'm not sure why. Hopefully nothing bad happened. I might call tomorrow night to see what's up with him. Oh k, good enough...night

I haven't had an entry for awhile. I can't say I've been busy, but I wouldn't say I've been idle either. I'm done with school. It turns out that I didn't even have to take my architecture final. I came in and when he handed out the tests he had ones for 5 people in the class who had A's all semester, and it said we didn't have to take the final. So in a way it sucked that I had to study for it and worry about it, but also good because I didn't have to take it. I went and studied for my french final in my mom's office since I didn't have to take that final. I guess the french final wasn't too bad. I think I did well enough on it. And that was that, the semester was over. I think I didn well. I believe I received at least 4 A's, although I'm not sure what I received in my software engineering class. I'll find out by Thursday at the latest. After work I headed out to Ashley's where I spent the rest of the day before I headed home. We watched tv all night, and watched Big Fish as well. My doctor's appointment on Thursday wasn't too bad. It only lasted about 10 minutes. Now I have to go to another doctor for his opinion on the whole thing, and I guess he'll tell me if I should get surgery or not. I just want everything to be over with in this whole situation. I came back home and mowed the lawn and then sat around till Ashley came over. I cleaned my room up then and put away all my books from the semester as well as threw away a bunch of papers from the semester. My room sort of looks clean again. That was that. Friday I just cleaned my church. Nothing else really. I spent the day at home with nothing to do, but being that I've been pretty much broke, I really couldn't go anywhere. I did call Keith and ask him if he wanted to go to the movies with me on Saturday. Ashley called too, but the conversation didn't turn out too great. I spent the rest of the night playing Warcraft, a new Matrix game on there. It's pretty fun. I played till about midnight. Saturday I had soccer practice in the morning. It wasn't too bad I suppose. Then I had to find something to do to kill time. I ate at McDonald's then drove around Clarion for a short while. I called Betsey to see what she was up to, but she had other things she had to get done. Being that I had nothing to do, I went to the K-mart parking lot and read my car manual. It was great. I did learn some interesting things. 3 rolled around eventually and I went inside to K-mart and talked to Dick for a short while. Then I went to the cinema and bought my ticket and waited for Keith. Van Helsing wasn't too bad of a movie. I think it was worth the view. It had it's good parts. Some of the acting wasn't the greatest, but the movie was still good. I went to Tyler's after, but found no one there when I arrived so I messed around chipping golf balls in his front yard. Keith showed up eventually and we sat around till Tyler came back. We messed around outside until we got Nichole's volleyball stuck in a tree. We watched the Pacer's game afterwards. We pretty much sat around the rest of the night. Betsey and Ashley were the only other two people to show up. I left around 12:30 since I had to get up for church in the morning. Today hasn't been so bad. After church I ate and then spent time online till I had my soccer game. We won today, 3-1, so that was good. I went to my grandma's in Hawthorn after for a short while, then came home and went to my other grandma's. And now I'm home. I start work tomorow at 8:30 so that's not so great since I still don't get to sleep in. Oh well, I did the same thing last summer. It can't be too bad. Well I'm done for tonight...night

As I assumed, my final this morning was a big waste of time. I finished in like 20 minutes. They were all simple problems minus one, but even that one wasn't all to challenging, so I was content. Then I worked for 4 and a half hours, pretty much by myself the whole time. It's weird I think. I don't understand why people wouldn't want to come in and work to make money. It's not as if we're doing anything of real difficulty. Oh well, I'm getting my money, that's all that matters to me. So once work was over with I went to Gemmell in hopes of selling my stats book. I guess it turns out that they wouldn't take it which didn't make me very pleased. Oh well, if anyone wants a stats book for like $10 let me know. Anyways, after that I went to the mall to get my new license, which took a whole minute or so. I was surprised I guess. I thought it might take quite awhile. I was then off to home where I made lunch and watched some tv. Once finished I headed to my room to start my studying. About 30 minutes later Keith said that there was a Champions League game on, so I took my laptop out into the living room and watched that while I typed up my french essay. It was a fairly decent match although Deportivo lost which I didn't want to happen. Now I'll have to root for Monaco since they are french. I spent a fair amount of the night studying. I'm still pretty wary about my french final for some reason. I think it's just because we have to write 2 essays and I also have to keep other stuff straight. She told us in that the years she's been teaching at Clarion, the final pretty much never affects your grade, so it very rarely either drops you a whole letter grade or raises you one. I guess I shouldn't worry too much. I think my grade is high enough in there. I guess I'll find out. I don't seem to be as worried about my Architecture final for some reason. Now that seems odd to me. Hopefully I'm right about not worrying. If not then that will really suck because I don't want to end up with a B in that class. Hmmm, so there's a good chance Keith will be getting a job in the office for the fall semester. I guess he's going to come in and talk to Nancy sometime next week, so that's pretty cool. I don't know other than that. I just want my finals to be over with tomorrow so then I can relax for a good while. So close yet it still seems so far...night

My final this morning wasn't all that easy, but then again it wasn't all that hard. There were some questions on it that I just had to b.s. through so hopefully I get points for it. The funny thing abotu finals is that you never get to actually see what grade you did receive on them unless you actually go ask your professor, which I never really feel the need to do. So in a way there's no need to worry because I'll never know what I did get. All I get to find out is my final grade in the class. Hmmm, interesting thought. Anyways, for some reason I woke up feeling tired even though I slept longer than usual for a Sunday night/Monday morning. Oh well, I got up and around. It only took me 30 minutes to finish my final. The weird thing was, I was the last person in the room. There were others done in like 15 minutes, crazy stuff. I worked for 3 hours after I took my test. I didn't do much really. Afterwards I went to Bob's Subs because I was hungry for one, so I got my custom Bologna sub and headed home to eat. Once I was finished eating I just wasted some time in my room until I got myself around to studying for my final tomorrow. I wouldn't actually call it studying, rather just writing down formulas and looking over problems. It's just like math in that I can't really study it because it's just problems, and I don't know what the problems will be. I'm not worried, I don't even have to do well on it whatsoever. It's pretty much a waste of my time. Once I'm done there I'll be working for about 4 hours. I plan on returning my only book that I'm not keeping which is my stats book, then going to the mall to get my new driver's license (ahhh exciting). Then more than likely I'll come home and study for my two finals on Wednesday, and then the semester will be over. That's awhile away though, so I'll let that go for now. Anyways...night

And yes, the weekend started out not so well. The last day of classes on Friday wasn't as great as it should be. I was rather bored and didn't enjoy myself much. I did go to a french party in Davis Hall and got some award for being one of the best students in my class. The food wasn't too bad, but not the greatest. Afterwards, I returned to my mother's office where I changed my schedule after talking to a student named Jeff from my french class. I think it's better that I have the class now than the one I was going to take. I believe it will be more beneficial. Work was boring, and I was glad to get out of there. Although I just headed to clean my church after that, in a very solemn mood. I got home and just sat around all night, feeling horrible for the most part. It really sux being rejected. I hope I get over it. Saturday was slightly better. I went to soccer in the morning which wasn't all that bad. Then afterwards I tried to get ahold of people to see what everyone was doing. I called Tyler but he didn't pick up. I got ahold of Keith and we were going to see Kill Bill II, but it wasn't playing so we ended up going to McDonalds to eat. I called Nicole before that and she said she was working, so Keith and I decided to go there after eating. It wasn't too bad just sitting around talking. Once she was done at 3 we headed to Tyler's where we played video games, played some b-ball and then took Justin home. Nothing too exciting, but I was glad to get out and hang out with my friends. It saved me from being by myself and making myself feel worse. I went home pretty early for a Saturday, and so I got online. Eventually I somehow got a virus, so that I could no longer log onto the internet without my computer restarting. I went to bed pissed off then. I woke up and ate breakfast then proceeded to the Macintosh downstairs to figure out how to fix my predicament. Eventually I found a patch to download from microsoft. I guess whatever I had was fairly new because everything I was finding was dated for April 30th which was Friday. Damn kids with their damn viruses. Anyways, I fixed the problem then updated my virus definitions and adaware definitions. Then to studying for my final tomorrow. I studied for a fair amount of time before lunch and then off to coach soccer. I had a decent time there, although it was rainy and cold. It was a pretty good game being that the kids haven't done that well at practice. I was pleasantly surprised. We tied 5-5, so it turned out well. I came home afterwards and studied some more and then just rested. I guess studying wears me out. I'm pretty tired now. It's sleepy time...night
