6/29/03
So this should be my last entry of the month because I doubt I'll have anything to report tomorrow other than I should have my car back with my cd working. That's if everything goes right, so hopefully it does. So this weekend, it wasn't too bad. I did stuff on Friday and Saturday, so I was occupied. Friday after work, I messed around in Clarion keeping myself busy. I went to the mall and messed around till I got hungry. I headed to Arby's to eat. I haven't eaten at that place for a long time, so it was good for a change in fast food instead of Wendy's and McDonald's. So I got the roast beef, pretty much the only thing they make there. Then off to Wal-mart where I found Nicole, which I wasn't expecting to see her yet. While at Wal-mart, I decided to buy a game for my computer, somethign I haven't done in a long time. I ended up getting Warcraft III which isn't too bad at all other than it's addicting and so I played it for 5 hours when I came home Friday night. Anyways, after Wal-mart, we headed back to the mall to watch The Hulk. It wasn't too bad, but I was super impressed with it. The only thing that I thought really stood out were the transitions between scenes. They had some really unique ones in there, so that was something that helped my movie along in my mind. Other than that, it was just an average movie to me. It was worth the watch, but not to go see it again. So Saturday, after I woke up and got around, I went and cleaned the church. And after, I went golfing which was a good thing for once. I didn't keep track of my score, but I was shooting pretty good. I got my drive back, well at least for the time being. Who knows if it will be the same when I go back next time, but hopefully it's the same. I was just practicing anyways, so I wasn't too worried, but I was doing a pretty good job compared to other times. So then after that I headed over to Keith's house, who was back from Delaware for the weekend with his mom. She came back for a grad party and he came along. So after awhile of sitting around and watching some of the movie Frida, we decided to drive out to Clarion. So we went to the mall, the only place to ever go. We saw Tyler at K-mart so we talked to him for awhile then coninued along around way. We met these two girls, the one who I named Blue's Clues girl. I don't rememeber their names, but I'm not too worried about it. But we had fun making fun of them, although I don't think they knew we were doing it. Oh well, it was fun regardless. So after that we walked around some more and headed over to A&W to eat where we found some really weird kid who looked like he was hopped up on coke or something. He was dancing around to the jukebox and talking about some cartoon. It was pretty awesome. So back to K-mart where we met up with Tyler again. So eventually we headed to Wal-mart with him where he purchased a cheescake to take back to his house to eat. It was pretty damn good. I was pleased at least. It was jack good. So another night of sitting around at Tyler's playing video games. It was a fun time. I enjoyed myself for the entire evening. Keith looked to be having a good time too. I think it was because I taught him about the FOUR F's. He's not going to forget about it either. So it was a really good time in my opinion. And today I sat around all day long. I watched the 1st appendix of the LOTR 4 disc set. It wasn't too bad. And of course I played more Warcraft. To end the night I took my car to the guy who's going to install my cd player and my day is done...night

So what to say about the past two days. Not much really. It's been all of a sudden, hot as hell outside the past two days which is alright by me. I'd rather have that then raining every single day of the week. So I can get by with the heat. It's good camping weather anyway, if that ever would happen. I don't know. Anyways, I'm getting in pretty good at work now, "in like flint". The secretary Nancy is taking a good liking to me now. She keeps telling how damn good I am at my job, so I'm pleased with such wonderful comments. I only try my best, so I guess that's more than good enough for her. So that's pretty sweet, being that if I ever needed anything dealing with my major then I can always ask her for help. Also, the Dean's secretary thinks I'm a wonderful kid as well. She's completely nice to me and always tells me that she wants me to come work for her, jokingly I'm assuming. So that's just as good since being in good with the Dean's secretary will have major benefits all around. The dean's daughter, who is 14 is in love with me too, so that can't hurt, especially if I treat her real nice. So that shows the Dean how great of a guy I really am. And finally, I helped the head of the CIS department with her printer today as well, and she was greatful for that. So I have connections all over. So I'm set in that area. In other news, I went golfing for the first time in a good while yesterday. I'm not sure what I shot because I didn't keep track. I think that being covered in sweat and bugs flying around my head discouraged me from really caring what my score was. So Nancy said she was going to bring strawberries for me to eat and she said she wished there would be ice cream too, so I think I'll surprise her by bring in ice cream to eat with them. So it'll be a little party tommorrow, yaahhhhhh!!! And finally, Nicole decided to find out what my project was that I was keeping on the low down. So I guess it lost all it's secrecy now. Oh well, I'll live right?? ... night

I decided to write something in here since a few things happened today I guess. I had a good sleep finally last night. So I'm glad I finally got some sleep back from the past weekend. So work wasn't too busy today. So I was happy about that. Nancy left at 1:30 for some appointments that she had, so I was left in the office all by myself during the afternoon. So that wasn't too bad. I sat around most of the time reading a new sprite comic that I found on bobandgeorge.com called Plagues Misadventures. Other than that, I attempted to clean out the back room and sort everything out on the shelves. I only got the one section of shelves done because the entire room is a complete mess. So maybe I'll be working on that tomorrow. I hope so because I don't feel like sitting in front of the computer. So I sat around decided what to do tonight. Tyler said I could come over to his house and that didn't sound too bad. I decided to go to the mall quick, well K-Mart actually, to look for the LOTR extended version of the Fellowship of the Ring. So I went there but I couldn't find it and I was dissappointed. It was the first time that K-Mart has let me down when I was looking for something I really wanted. So that sucked. So I decided to go to Wal-Mart to look for it, and if I couldn't find it there then I was just going to go to Tyler's house. I found it there though, so I decided I would go home and watch it. So I ended up doing that. I was pretty pleased with it. There were a lot of parts that were added in that I thought should have been in the movie already, but I guess that wasn't up to me to decide. So I seemed to eat all night long, from the time I got home till about 9:30. I came home and made myself some grilled chicken and some french fries. Then once I finished that I ate a whole bunch of chex mix. And then after that, I made myself a bowl of popcorn. So I guess I was kept occupied tonight. The movie was pretty long now, so it lasted till about 9:15. Then I finished up by doing the dishes and relaxing for a bit till I came on here. So tomorrow I get my haircut and the day after I might get my cd player installed. If not then, then probably on Thursday. I guess I'll see. Well I'm out...night

So now as far as I know, my car is completely running. I haven't had any problems since my grandpa fixed my car, so I'm pleased that I won't have to spend all my hard earned money on a new one. And I should be getting my cd player installed, say Wednesday or Thursday. So everything seems to be coming along there. Not much really happened during the rest of the week. Same normal stuff that always goes on. Work, sitting at home, and many similar things. The weekend wasn't all that great either. Friday nothing happpened. I sat at home with nothing to do. I attempted to call Keith, but I guess he was already in Clarion with Dusty, or at Dusty's house I've collected. So I sat around reading my book and watching tv, nothing exciting. Saturday I was awoke by my mom at 11, who told me that I had to get up for a reason unknown to me. So I was none to happy with that. So in 15 minutes I ate and left to clean the church. When I returned home, I found Nicole at my house. So I ate my lunch and then just chilled with her. Came back in after messing around with the soccer ball and showered. Then I waited around till time to leave for Tyler's. That wasn't too bad of a time. We messed around outside playing soccer, basketball, and football. So then the party started once Tyler took his mom to Knox and came back. So the nigth was good. We had fun playing video games. We attemtped to play strip twister which didn't really last too long. Andy was there with his video camera taping it. Then it was really funny when I dl the crank yankers clip, Knock Knock by Special Ed. We had it playing on two different mp3 players so that it sounded like it was mixed. It was really damn funny. Anyways, after a short break upstairs I finally made my way back downstairs and went to sleep. Then who knows how much time passed before people had to be assholes and wake me up then pull me off the matress I was sleeping on. So then anger ensued and it was none to good. I don't know why people have to be jerks about shit. I had no intentions of acting like that. Oh well, that's life. Can't take it back now. So I don't know what time it was when I finally got to sleep. So I woke up in the morning and said my short goodbye to Keith. It was sad times. It's pretty much all I thought about on the drive home, just thinking about how I should have said something better. Too late now though. He's off and gone and at his parents home in Delaware now. So today was boring. I was sleepy eyed all day, but couldn't really take a nap. So I attemped to watch LOTR, but that didn't get to far because I couldn't keep my attention there for long for some reason. I did decide though that I would be purchasing the 4-DVD set of the Fellowship of the rings next time I'm at the store. So that will be cool. It will give me something new to watch and I think it's only about $30-40 range. So that's not too shabby. So that was my day. Lounging around and resting myself. Well I'm done...night

My grandpa is the greatest mechanic ever!!! At least for the time being, but he's deftly a whole hell of a lot better than the ones at the place where I took my car to get fixed before. I was up at his house for about 2 hours and he at least fixed the problem that I originally had with my car. He got the service engine soon light to go out finally, and he got the speedometer and odometer to start working again finally. So that's pretty sweet ass. He took the car head on like a champ without even blinking and he came through in the clutch. So I'm pretty happy about that. He's not sure if he got the car to run right though. But hey, at least he did something to help the car rather than just do something that doesn't do a damn thing to it at all. So I'm glad my grandpa is the best damn mechanic ever. Thank you. God do I hate mehcanics. Well in saying that I'd have to say that I hate my grandpa as well, but I"ll change my statement. I hate mechanics who seems to fuck with my car so that I have to pay them more money to fix things that shouldn't need to be fixed until it happens to go there and then somehow break. Yes, I took my car to the East Main Gulf station on Monday because my car pretty much died and the speedometer and odometer weren't working, something I said in my earlier journal entry. They tell me on Tuesday that all they need to do is give it a good tune up by replacing the wires and plugs. So I was happy. They said it would be about $100 which made me quite happy. So I get there Tuesday night only to find that all they did was get the car running. They don't know how to fix the speedometer and odometer problem, all of a sudden they say I need to replace my exhaust systme, my water pump somehow got broken(HMMM I WONDER HOW THAT FUCKIGN HAPPENED. FUCKING MECHANICS FUCKING ME OVER), and they say I need to do somethign about the transmission. For god's sake. All I wanted you assholes to do was fix my speedometer and odometer. Do you not understand that. So I take it there and tell them to change the plugs and wires because that's what they say the problem is. So I got and spend that money, then they say after this that I need to spend more money. I just got fucked over. I hate this crap. I wish I just would have had my car towed to my grandpa's garage. So now it's too late and I'm going to be owing them at least $250 if not more. So I'm getting my car the hell out of there today regardless of what they tell me. I'll be a lot happier once I get it back to my house. So who knows what's going to happen to my car now. It seems that I'm going to have to buy a new car. So if I did have any idea of getting my own apartment this semester, then that idea is completely shot. So I see, it' s going to be a crappy semester if not a crappy entire school year. So I'm willing to spend $3000 at the most for a car, anymore then I'm not getting the car unless my parents pitch in. So after that long string of bitching, I don't have much of anything else to say. Beign that I don't have a car, I haven't had the chance to do anything. I wanted to hang out at Tyler's last night, but due to my problem, that didn't happen. So I sat around at my house and continued reading the LOTR trilogy. So that's all I have to say. Oh yes, either Dusty is being an asshole, or he's being a pretty stand-up guy. I'm not sure which. Oh well. I can handle a good joke regardless, but I could handle it a lot better if I wasn't pissed off right now. So if I bitch at you Dusty, realize I'm not pissed at you. Blame the mechanics who made me angry.

So it was a pretty slow weekend for the most part. Most of the weekend turned out sort of crappy. Friday night I headed to Duhnke's house at 7 I think. We waited around there for people to show up because we were headed out to the drive-in. It turned out to be a pretty crappy time though. First off, the movie that was playing first was the Rugrats movie, so that didn't make for much fun. Also, the whole time Rob was bitching about Duhnke and that just went on to make things worse. So that didn't help the night along whatsoever. So then the second movie, Bruce Almighty didn't seem that funny either. So we left halfway through it and went to the truck stop to eat. That wasn't too bad there. So that was that. Well other than on the way home I hit a small hole in the road which made my service engine soon light come on. Then my speedometer and odometer stopped working. So now I don't have those and it sux. So I don't know how that's going to work out. Anyways, Saturday morning I got up to go clean the church. It took me longer than usual, but I hadn't cleaned it last week so that's reasonable. After, I came home and got ready for Keith's sister's wedding. It was just like any other wedding I've been to before. The reception afterwards wasn't much fun either, and my parents and I headed out at around 8 I think. So I just came home and sat around. Sunday was a little better. I went to church in the morning then came home and got ready to take my little brother to his soccer game. When the other team showed up they had 9 players, so Tanner and I asked if we could play on their team against Redbank, and they let us. So it was fun, but it sucked becaue it was so hot out and I'm out of shape to begin with. So that didn't help us out much. Anyways, the score ended up being 6-4, but I think we did pretty good. So then I went to my grandparents house for father's day. I ate a lot of food that my grandma pretty much forced on me. Then I headed home about 5:30. Keith called and said we were going to Jen's house. So I showered quick then he came out and we headed there. It wasn't too bad if a time. Other than I spilled my pop onto my hotdogs which made the buns taste horrible. So that was a waste. So then we went and played basketball, and then went to TCBY an ate ice cream. And that was that. So not too bad. And this morning I had to drive to work in my car. When I pulled into the parking lot it started to spit and sputter so I don't know what's wrong with it. Hopefully nothing because that would suck if my car is messed up. Well I'm headed out...later

On Tuesday, I had a really busy day at work for once. It was one of the days where we register incoming freshman, so there was a lot of stuff to do plus doing that. So it was sort of hectic in the morning hours of the day. I got through it alright though. I got a lot of stuff done too, so I was pleased with my own work ethic. The morning went by really slow though for some reason which didn’t make me very happy. It usually flies by, but not then I guess. So I went to lunch at 12:30 because Nancy stayed around working on stuff. So I ended up going to Wendy’s to eat. When I sat down to eat this girl started saying I should come join her table with a bunch of professors. I sat there anyway, so then she came over and sat with me. Then I remembered where I saw her. It was from the Dean’s office in Founder’s Hall. So I guess she’s the daughter of the assistant dean. So then after awhile her brother came over along with her. They got sort of annoying after awhile. The girl kept kicking me in the shin, and the brother was acting all stupid. I think she’s 14 and her brother is 12 or something like that. So I guess I have another g/f now. I guess I’m just too damn hot for my own good. Or not. Prolly not. So anyways, the afternoon went by really fast so I was happy about that. So I came home and then took my little brother to soccer where we just played world cup. I got really tired. I also got a really deep cut on my finger. We were opening a bunch of spray paint cans to see what the shaking noise was inside and when I went to rip one open, the metal sliced my finger pretty good. It wouldn’t stop bleeding, so coach hooked me up with a band aid and a lot of tape. So I was fixed up. And that was Tuesday. Today wasn’t that bad. There wasn’t much to do at work really. So I guess that wasn’t bad. The morning went by pretty slow again. I don’t know why it’s that way now. Oh well. I’ll deal with it. So I went to eat lunch at my mom’s office where I found out that she was in a wreck. Some guy hit the back end of the Durango, and it’s only about 2 months old. So that’s deftly not cool at all. At least I’m sure this time we’ll get the insurance money for it, unlike the last time where we’re still trying to settle it to see who pays for it. Stupid lying bastards. So then as I was taking mail around after work I saw Keith with some girl. I think it might have been Jen, but I wasn’t sure. Then after I went to Nicole’s house. We played Monopoly which was pretty fun. Then after it sucked because she was acting all stupid about me eating. So I just end up leaving at about 8:30. I wanted to go to Dusty’s little get together, but it was at 9 and I wouldn’t have stayed long because of work in the morning. So I just came home and made myself some popcorn and watched tv. So I had a really long entry written till my computer screwed up and I lost it all. Stupid bloody unreliable computers. So I’ll try this again. So anyways, I was awoken Saturday morning at 1:30 am by Keith who got sick from drinking. So we had to mess around with all the dirty sheets that resulted from that and wake my mom up to help us out. So that was interesting. So we finally made it back to bed. Then we were woke up way to early to head back home. The car ride was long and boring. I spent most of the time listening to music and attempting to sleep. I also watched the last 2 hours of the LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring on my computer. So we finally made it home at 8, where I found a message to call Nicole. So I called her then called Rob’s house where they were having a party. I stayed home being that I just got back, but Keith went there and I guess he had some fun. So I just sat around relaxing then. No church on Sunday morning. Instead I got all my stuff in order and decided to go the soccer game at Curwensville. So I left at about 1:30 and picked Keith up at his house, then to Joe’s Pizza where we met everyone else that was going. So Keith and I rode up with coach which was good since I didn’t have to drive the whole way there. I didn’t get to play too much but I wasn’t supposed to be playing in the first place, so it wasn’t that bad. So after the game we went to Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub to eat. That was a bad idea being that we were there for about 3 freakin’ hours waiting for stupid 2 lb hamburgers for 5 people. So that was horrible sitting around and waiting for all of them to get their food and attempt to eat it all. I had some good wings if that was any consolation. So we left there at about 9:30 and got home around 10:45. Which means I got home at 11. So that was a waste of an evening pretty much, so I was none to happy about that. So then back to work today. It wasn’t too bad. It seemed that I did most of the work today. Maybe I didn’t but it sure seemed like it. I was also told that I’m not allowed to be on ICQ, except when there’s nothing else to do in the office. So I’m pissed about that because she sits around and talks to everyone on the phone and in the office, but I can’t do that online. Not fair at all. Oh well, it’s not hard work and so I’ll live with it all. So after work I just came home and sat around. In other news I decided to start reading the whole LOTR trilogy from the beginning again because I don’t like just starting in the middle because it doesn’t seem as good that way. So I’ll try to keep up with that. Also, I started a project that I’m not going to really say much about. Just that I really want to work hard on it because I feel that it’s special to me. So I’ll be working on that trying to make it as good as possible. And hopefully when I finish it, I’ll be content with what I’ve done. So I’m hoping I’m not disappointed with it. Vacation 6/1/03 to 6/06/03
So I’m writing this in hopes that I will be able to purchase a phone card soon, and so then I’ll hopefully be able to log onto the internet using that. So if you’re reading this, then that’s what happened. So anyways, we left from my house yesterday morning, Saturday, at 4:30 to meet in New Bethlehem at 5 and hopefully leave by then. That didn’t happen because all the women sat around talking. So I don’t even know what time it actually was when we left. So we headed on our way. I’m not sure how long the trip took, but it was long enough for me. So we finally ended up here at the beach at about 5. So then we headed to our house. It’s a pretty nice house, just like every other year I’ve been here. Keith and I got a room on the second floor this year instead of on the bottom floor. We have our own beds so that’s pretty cool. We also stole the tv from my mom’s room to hook up my Playstation with since the one downstairs doesn’t have input and output holes for my cables. So it’s not too bad. It’s not really that warm down here. It’s just in the mid to high 70’s, so it’s not too different than back at home. It’s been really windy down here though. So it doesn’t make it too comfortable to be out on the beach with sand blowing and your face and stuff. So we pretty much just sat around last night. We didn’t go to the beach since it’s not that warm. The water is pretty cold anyways. So we sat around watching some weird show on TNN called something like Most Extreme Elimination. It’s not that exactly but close enough. It’s really funny. They have people doing these stupid contests, but they’re all Japanese with voice overs. So it was good to watch. Then we watched the hockey game and went to bed. This morning, I attempted to go for a run, but only went under half the way. I’m out of shape and I had just eaten breakfast and I was sick. I almost threw up, so I just walked back. Keith and I have pretty much just been relaxing. I got in the hot tub for awhile and went out in the sun. Then I came in and showered and then started writing this. And Keith is telling me to write that I had really bad gas then because I did. It filled my room then went out into the hall. And it was really bad. Then I left to go shopping with my mom and Aunt Barb and Keith. I had bad gas in the car too. So I got my phone card so I’ll have to see if it works. So I’m going now…later
So it turns out that I can’t use phone cards with my computer when they ask what language I would like to use. It’s really stupid and I’m pissed off that it doesn’t work, but I guess I’ll just have to deal with it for the week. So I don’t know if I’ll keep a journal of the week or not. Not much will have to be said because there’s not all that much to do here. We just pretty much sit around and enjoy the beach. So I thought I would add that little blurb in here. So I guess I’m going to go now…later
So to continue this little journal thing for this week, not much has really happened except for today. After lunch, Keith and I took my mom’s vehicle and headed out to do some shopping of our own. So first we headed to the cd place where I bought the new Alkaline Trio cd called Good Mourning. It’s pretty good although I’ve only listened to it once. So then after that we took a long trip just looking for places to go. We eventually ended up going to K-Mart where Keith bought his Raisonets and I got another cd. I got the new Ataris cd, So Long Astoria. It’s quite good as well. I think I may like it better than the Alkaline Trio cd. So that’s pretty cool then. So then after K-mart we went to this Wings store where they just sell souvenirs and stuff like that. I got a new pair of sunglasses there. So then we came back to the house where we discovered that the people next to us were having a wedding on the beach which was quite different. So that was interesting to watch I guess. Then tonight Keith and I decided to drink some, so Keith and I drank 4 beers each. It wasn’t too bad being that we’re in a house full of grown ups. So that was pleasing enough. So that’s about it. Nothing interesting really. Just thought I’d let people know…night
Today is the last day that I’ll be spending at the beach. We’re leaving here tomorrow at 8 in the morning. So it’s been a pretty good week. Nothing really out of the ordinary happened. Well a few things have I guess. First off, I think beer has started to taste somewhat good after I’ve been drinking it for about 4 days straight. So I guess that’s different. And my mom is all cool about me drinking now I guess. I mean I’m sure she doesn’t want me to go drinking constantly, but she understands how things are. So I guess that’s really cool. Last night, Keith and I drank a good deal of beer compared to the last few days. I think we drank 6 each. Not enough to get hammered, but enough to be feeling pretty good. So we sat around watching tv, and talking to other people in the house. It was a pretty fun time. I talked to Nicole last night too. I found out about some of the stuff that has been going on back at home. I guess it was pretty cold there last night. Like around 50, so I’m glad I’m down here where it’s warm. Too bad I have to be leaving tomorrow morning. So it’s been a pretty good week just hanging out with Keith and lounging around at the beach. For some reason I think it wasn’t that great down here this time though. I think it was because of the weather. It wasn’t really warm at all. It’s usually in the high 80’s when we’re here and it hasn’t broke 80 since we’ve been down here. So I guess that sucks because you’re hoping to come down here and have beautiful, warm, sunny days, but I guess not this year. So I don’t know if I’ll be back here next year. I’m not sure if we’ll be coming. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see, but for now I’m going to be heading out. So I’ll be back in PA tomorrow to post this on my site…later
