Day 11

This morning I went over to Four Queens to meet Anne & Steve for breakfast at Magnolia's. I had hash and eggs. The food was good and did the trick. Anne and Steve left after breakfast and I came back over to the D to start my play for the day.

The first stop was the players club to turn in the LVA coupon for $5 free play for every 50 points and the coupon for the $25 match play. I also collected my match plays from my mail offer that were also doubled. I'm going to hang on to those until my next trip and combine them with the others I've been hoarding.

With the Vue Bar closed I played downstairs. I started with 8/5 bonus for halves. Lost $100 on exactly 100 points. Hit 1 quad but nothing else to help me out.

I took a break and walked Fremont Street popping in some casinos playing some penny games. A few well timed bonus rounds got me a little profit.

I came back to the room and too a break for a while and then got ready for dinner.

For dinner I had a reservation at Andiamo. I started with the Peach Carpaccio and Baby Kale Salad. For my entree I went with the rib eye. Really good as always. Dessert was a piece of cake with pistachio cream, cannoli cream and sponge cake. Really good but really rich.

After dinner I hit the video poker machines again. I was getting late so to speed things up I played dollars. It was fairly smooth never being down more than $300 or more than $100. That was until I hit a straight flush, aces, got dealt a quad (my first real dealt quad of the trip, 10 day later) and aces again. This shot the meter up and things were good.

I went to the club to have the additional $100 free play added and now have a total of $300.

I took another walk up and down Fremont Street popping in and out of places playing some penny games. A few more decent bonus rounds combined with some really bad runs made it a pretty shitty run.

I came back to the D and ran my free play through for dollars. No major hits and turned the $300 free play into $250 cash.

It was very late pushing 3am so I finally gave up for the day and came upstairs and went to bed.
