Day 7

Slept in today and after the normal in room breakfast just took it easy for a while. No play planned here at Flamingo today so the decision is, where to go. Silverton. I haven't been here in close to 5 years.

I played some spin poker. The session was pretty standard issue. I hit a good amount of quads, sometimes 3 at a time. Oddly 2 different times I dumped a junk hand and drew quad kings. The biggest highlight was hitting my first royal of the trip. The bleed happened after the royal so I cashed out with a $600 win. I took a shot at some dollar action on single line. Total bust with no quads and just one full house dumping another $200. I headed out of Silverton and came back to the Flamingo.

It was dinnertime when I got back so I went over to Caesars Palace and Mesa Grill. I've always wanted to try this place. Since I hadn't eaten since breakfast I figured I'd go all out. I had the smoked chicken and black bean quesadilla for an appetizer. Really good. I even had a margarita with it. For my entree I chose the New Mexican Spice Rubbed Pork Tenderloin and a side order of spinach. Probably one of the best things I've ever had in a restaurant here in Vegas. For dessert I tried the coconut layer cake. Not a huge fan of coconut but it was pretty good. Too big to finish. Normally I would have passed on dessert because I was stuffed but I needed to pad the bill.

The bill was $98 and I used one of my 7* celebration dinners to cover the bill.

After dinner I took a walk down the strip to burn off some calories. As I've been doing all week I'd stop and play some penny slots along the way. Nothing major until I hit a bonus round for just over $100.

I came back to the room a little early to watch TV and wind down.
