Day 10

Got up and had breakfast and then went over to the Four Queens to start playing. Not only do I have my mailed offer but they are running a promo that gives an additional $10 free play for every 100 points. I also have to LVA coupon for $10 free play and the ACG coupon for double points (up to 500).
I decided on 50 play deuces wild bonus for nickels. It was pretty smooth for the most part during the first half of the play. There were some patches that were rocky but I was hitting a fair amount of deuces. Actually 5 sets. I also landed 2 royals. At the halfway point I was actually down over $50. It didn't compute after hitting that many key hands. I continued to plug along. The second half was better with more deuces including 1 set with a kicker and another royal flush. I was getting near the end of the session with less than 100 points to go and was up close to 5 bills. Way too often I get crushed in the final stretch but survived without losing anything and made a few more bucks. When it all said and done I finished the session up by $547. In total I hit 9 sets of deuces, one of those with a kicker, and 3 royals.
Anne and Steve showed up and I gave them the keys to the room and they went up to get settled in. I switched cards and started playing on Dee's card. The first part of this play seemed to start out well I hit deuces 4 times but was down the entire time. At the 300 point mark I stopped and it was lunch time.
For lunch I went to Magnolia's Veranda. I got my usual bowl of gumbo. I didn't want to eat too much because I had dinner reservations at Hugo's later. It was a good as usual although not quite hot enough. I covered the bill with points and we were back in the casino after that.
I returned to the machines to continue the play. Things got better this time around. I hit more deuces and on an exciting hand I was dealt RF4 and pulled 3 royals. At the halfway mark I was up over 5 bills. I'm hoping to keep it going. I took a break at the 1000 point mark, 2/3 of the way there so I could go get ready for dinner.
For dinner I had reservations with Anne and Steve and Stacy at Hugo's Cellar. Thing seemed a little chaotic in here tonight. There seemed to be quite a bit of new staff in here and they didn't seem to be in sync. I had the filet mignon and capped dinner off with chocolate cake. The food was excellent as always. We all had a good time and I used the $150 voucher and charged the rest to the room to use the credit that came with the offer.
Now to try to complete the play. Things remained good and I hit another royal and a few more sets of deuces, including one with a kicker. Down to the final 100 points again and I cringed but got through them with minimal damage. When it was all said and done I'd hit 4 royals and deuces 10 times. One of those had the kicker and the total profit was over $500. This has been one hell of a day and I still had the free play from both offers, the $150 that was added to my account for the current promo and the $10 from the LVA coupon. For some reason they wouldn't let me use the ACG coupon. The boothling gave me the option of using the coupon or getting the $150 free play. Well duh, which would I use?
I ran my $535 free play though $1 9/6 jacks or better. I hovered +/- $25 the whole time even though I wasn't hitting anything. No quads, no full houses and just a few flushes. As always the last $100 or so killed me. I did manage to turn the $535 into $465.
Next I ran Dee's free play though penny 50 play deuces wild bonus. Nothing major other than another set of deuces and turned the $375 into $350.
All in all I cleared almost $2000 at the Four Queens today. I hit deuces 20 times (2 with a kicker) and 7 royal flushes.
With my play done for the night I took a walk up Fremont popping into each casino and playing some penny games. Nothing major except for 1 great bonus round.
Not liking the scene of Fremont tonight I decided to come up to the room and finish the night watching TV.
