Day 9

I was up early this morning and had breakfast while I packed up and got ready for the move later today.

I left the Flamingo around 11am. I had to stop at the front desk which took over 20 minutes because these ass clowns charged me for internet. Being 7* I don't pay for this. After over 20 minutes in line and 30 seconds at the front desk this was fixed.

I left Flamingo and already could see the weekend crowd piling in. The parking garage was a fuckin' zoo. I had all I could do to get out of there.

I decided to play a little somewhere I hadn't played in years. Arizona Charlie's Boulder. First stop was the Sourdough Cafe for lunch. They are running an abridged menu here. I had a turkey club with fries. Standard issue but did the trick.

After lunch it was time to play. They are running 7x/4x points today. When I swiped to activate that I also collected my dividend from last year. That was almost $90 worth of points and my $3 gift shop credit for being legit tier. Their VP is pretty weak but I found some airport deuces. I plugged away for a little while and hit my first dealt quad of the trip. Playing fucking deuces. A little later I held 2 deuces and found 2 more on line 5 for the $250 hit. I was already down a bit so decided I'd play this down as low as even. I was getting close and then got dealt a dirty royal. Now the plan was to stop as low as a $100 win. In about 3 minutes I was cashing out with a $102 win. On the way out I played a couple of penny games and lost 8 bucks.

Then in the world's biggest scam, the cash out machines aren't dispensing coins. So you get another voucher that you take to the cage. After waiting in line for 10 minutes I get to the window and get scolded by the bitch cashier that I should have brought my original ticket to the cage if there was change on it. I told her that if there was a fucking sign on the machines I would have. Then she demands I give her 21¢ so she could give me a $1 bill. I didn't have any change on me and she gave me more attitude. Fuck her. I call this the biggest scam because on my way out I saw no less than 10 of these laying around the casino and by the cash out machines. I could probably make $100 a day just hanging out here.

From Arizona Charlie's I headed downtown. This is the final move of this trip and I'll be staying at the D. I booked this with a mail offer for 4 nights, $100 free play which is being doubled for July to $200, $100 in match play and $125 in food. Checking in took too long due to idiots behind me. I still to this day don't understand what takes people so long and why they never have their ID and credit cards ready. I got to the desk and in less than 3 minutes have keys in hand and I'm on my way to room 3031. This room has 2 queen beds, a nightstand, dresser/work desk, and TV. There is a view of El Cortez and the Boulder Highway area of town. The bathroom is standard with a shower, toilet and vanity.

I got my stuff into the room and settled in for the final leg of the trip.

I also had a reservation at the Four Queens so I could take advantage of the food credits that came with the room. I have a mail offer for 3 nights (booked 2), $375 free play, $75 food and a $150 meal at Hugo's Cellar. Once I was set at the D I went over there to check in. My friends Anne and Steve are going to use this room tomorrow night. Check in here was slow because of idiots again. I was given room 1233. This is a king room with night stands, dresser and fridge. The bath room is small with a shower, toilet and vanity.

I didn't have much play planned for today so I just wandered around Fremont Street. I popped in a few places and played some penny games while taking in the freak show.

For dinner I went to Lanai Express at the Fremont. I got a 2 item combo and brought it back to the room and watched TV while I ate.

After dinner I went back out to Fremont to the freak show. I was popping in and out of casinos playing penny games here and there. I hit a few good bonus rounds and turned a small profit for the evening.

I finished up the night with a trip to Walgreen's and then came back to the D to wrap up another night.
