Day 8

When I got up I had some in room breakfast and got caught up on e-mails and stuff.

Once I was ready for the day I hit the casino. The plan today is to play a little but here, just not too much because the video poker sucks. I also got reimbursed for my airfare in the form of free play.

I found a 10 play and started to pound away at bonus deuces. Tough game but I held 3 deuces and not only landed the 4th, I landed the kicker too for 2000 coins. That was the end of the good hands. I cashed out with just a small $100 win and decided that was enough play for them.

I ran the $600 free play though and hit nothing turning the $600 free play into just $400. So in a nutshell my airfare cost me $246. Still pretty good considering I'm going first class on the way home.

I took a walk on the strip after this and played some penny games along the way. Had one good bonus round.

Came back to the Flamingo. For dinner I had a reservation at the new Bugsy and Meyer's Steakhouse. This replaced Center Cut which I really liked. I had a filet mignon, with sides of potato gratin and creamed corn. Probably the best potatoes ever and the corn was right up there too. I finished off with a Meyer Lemon. It's crispy meringue, lemon cream, strawberries, candied lemons, and cookies. Really good meal. The bill was $96 and I used a 7* celebration dinner to cover the bill.

Stuffed I decided to take another walk to burn some calories. I stopped along the way playing a few penny games again with very little luck. I lost most of what I won earlier.

I decided to come to the room early and started getting ready for the move tomorrow and watched some TV.
