Day 14

Today is our last day in town. There is no plan today other than to pack up and get ready to leave tomorrow. The only exception to that will be heading to lunch later today to meet up with a friend at Boulder Station.

We slept in again today and started packing up some of our things. Once we were ready we headed out for lunch out at Boulder Station. We had plans to meet up with friend AP. I've never met AP in person but have been communicating with him for quite some time so it's going to be good to finally meet him in person.

We arrived at the Cafe at Boulder Station and AP was already there waiting for us. Once inside we had some good conversation mostly about VP and gaming. Go figure! Since AP had 100's of 1000's of points at Stations so he treated us to lunch today. It was a good lunch and a good time. Thanks again to AP for picking up the tab.

We decided to play a bit here hoping to score a mail offer for the future. Even though Stations is stingy with mail I've never stayed at Boulder Station and hoped to get a room offer for our next trip, even if it doesn't include any extras. We found some 8/5 bonus machines and started to pound away for halves. We both hovered quite well for a while but then Dee started losing. While she was losing I was winning though so we kept on playing. We cashed out of here even.

When we were done playing I swiped at the kiosk to play some game that was going on. I won a mystery gift that had to be redeemed at the player's club. After waiting in line I was given some lame ass Halloween themed bank. Seriously. Is this the best you can do Stations? Giving away left of crap from one of your lame giveaways 2 months ago?

We left Boulder Station and stopped off at the laundromat to pick up our clothes. It was still early and we decided since we hadn't been there in a while we'd go to South Point for some video poker. We l played 9/6 jacks on triple play. Things were up and down here and we cashed out with a small loss and went in search of some food.

For dinner we went to the Coronado Cafe. Dee had (go figure) spaghetti. I opted for Chinese food and lemon chicken. Dee said hers was good. Mine was good too but highly over priced at $16.

After we ate we left and headed back up to Aliante. I ran down to the casino to cash my points in for free play. I ran $230 worth of points from previous trips and this trip though a $1 8/5 bonus machine. I was able to cash out $200 of it and the gaming portion of this trip was done.

I came back up to the room and we started packing up our things for tomorrow's trip home.
