Day 11
Saturday December 27, 2014
Today was moving day back up to Las Vegas. Before we checked out I went to a kiosk and printed out vouchers for the VIP buffet. As a red card holder you get 2 passes on Saturday and 2 passes on Sunday to go tho the complimentary VIP buffet. The buffet here is nothing special, in fact it's pretty low end by today's standards. In the VIP area there are a few additional items that the regular buffet doesn't have. You also get tablecloths and cloth napkins too!

After we ate we packed up the rest of our stuff and left Laughlin with Las Vegas back in our sights.

We stopped at Silverton on the way back through. The goal here was to play the 100 plays and used Dee's $250 free play from her mailer. I couldn't get on the other machine because it was in use so Dee played. Things weren't good here with limited quads and dealt winners. She dropped $600 and did about 1/5 of the action she usually does so my guess is her offers are going to drop like a rock for the summer trip. She ran her free play through a $1 8/5 bonus machine and cashed it out at $200 so the session wasn't as bad as it was. We left Silverton and headed out to North Las Vegas.

Today we would be checking at Aliante. I booked this offer back in the summer after our previous visit this past summer with my host here. We were reserved to have an Ambassador suite for the next 4 nights. When we arrived we were able to check right in and were given Suite # 8022. When you walk in you enter the living room. There is a wet bar and dining area set up right past the entryway. There is a wall unit with a large flat screen TV and a sitting area with a couch and coffee table. This is the biggest TV I've ever seen. It's got to be 84 inches. There are also floor to ceiling windows with a view of the beltway.

The bedroom is large but similar to the standard rooms here at Aliante with a king bed, nightstands, sitting area, dresser, closet and flat screen TV. This room also has floor to ceiling windows with the view of the beltway.

The bathroom is larger than the standard rooms with a large shower, dual sink vanity and toilet area. This suite is actually handicap accessible with bars around the toilet and a roll in shower. I also had a mail offer that includes $100 in free play and $50 in resort credits.

Once we got settled into the room we went to dinner at Farm 24/7. Dee has fish and chips and I had the meatloaf tower. The food here was very good but the service was a bit slow.

We were off to the casino when we were done eating. We played our usual triple play machines. This was a session tough. I hit 2 quads and a straight flush within 10 minutes of sitting down. 10 minutes later I was down $100. Dee wasn't doing well either. In less than 90 minutes we dropped $800 and have now lost 2/3 of the Christmas money we had won.

I ran my free play through a $1 8/5 bonus machine and cashed it out at $105. From there we played a variety of penny slots machine hopping. Nothing good or bad happened but we got quite a bit of action out of a small investment.

We were done playing for the day so went back up to the suite and finished the night with some TV.

Total win/loss for the day - $1150
Total Comps for the day $637
