I'm Not Losing You “Hmmm, maybe I do.” I joked. I got down and opened my back up and got out their gifts. I handed them to the guys one by one. I told them to open the small box LAST and to read the letters when they got home…or at least once I was gone. So the first things they opened were the drawings. The best ones I had ever done to date. Each one was framed, and was a portrait of them. One live shot drawn next to a posed head-shot. And for once in my life, they were in color. That was a challenge. They saw them and smiled. Justin was so impressed as always. He gets such a kick out of the little things. They all thanked me and gave me a hug. I smiled and said that it was nothing.

“Ok now open the little ones!” Sam interjected. She was way too excited and it made them look at me like, “why is she acting like that?” I just looked at them, shrugged and smiled at them innocently and quietly said,

“I don’t know. Why don’t you open them and see.” They hesitated at first, almost frightened to open them. Especially when they saw Erik’s face, and caught on that he knew what it was. Jackie opened his first, and his eyes got to be the size of half-dollars, and I heard him whisper,

“Whaaaaat?!?!” In hearing that, the other two opened theirs more quickly. They opened their own boxes and Lucas just stared at it and smiled.

“Niiiiiice.” He said, calm and cool. Justin looked from the necklace, to me, back to the necklace and back to me again. Just back and forth.

“Wow.” He said just as Lucas did. The three of them were obviously surprised. Jackie looked at the necklaces a little bit closer, and freaked for a second.

“Wait a minute; please tell me that those are not real stones.”

“Well, I could tell you that, but I’d be lying.” I laughed.

“Yep! Real diamonds and your birthstones are real too guys!” Sam said.

“What?!?!” Said Jackie. And at the same time, he was interrupted by a “No way!” From Lucas and an “Oh my god!” from Justin. I couldn’t help but just grin…and blush.

“Mya, how much did these cost you?!” Lucas asked.

“That’s not important. Don’t worry about it.” I said. He came up to me and gave me a huge hug.

“Thank you so much. These are awesome.” All I could do was smile. Jackie came up to me next and gave me a hug. Followed by,

“You are awesome.” Justin finally approached me and just looked at me for a second.

“Girl, you are CRAAAZY!” He said to me as I got my hug. “But thank you so much!” They kept looking at the necklaces, and after staring some more, they put them on.

“Wait a second.” I said with a smile. I reached into my massive purse and fumbled around until I pulled out a box of my own. (Bet you didn’t know that was in there!) I opened it and took out my own necklace…just like theirs. Just like Jackie’s in fact, because we were both March babies. I put mine on as well.
