Game one of Skid's season at Citi. JULY 12th - GAME #94 vs Miami Marlins (44-48)
Daisuki Matsuzaka (3-3) goes up against Tom Koehler (6-7)

44-50

The Mets came back late in the game thanks to a pinch hit 2-run home run by Chris Young in the seventh and an eighth inning hit by Eric Campbell to drive in the go ahead run. Travis d'Arnaud went 2 for 3. The bullpen gave up only one hit and one walk in three innings of work, with Vic Black earning the save.

I started watching this game around the fifth inning after getting home from the coast. My wife and I spent the morning on the beach, then left at lunch time to head home in separate cars. I got to krank IRON MAIDEN the whole way home as she had been at the coast all week and drove her own car home. It was nice to see Chris Young homer to tie the game and the Mets rally as if it was supposed to happen as opposed to wishing a rally would happen and being disappointed.
