The Mets biggest first inning this year, scoring five runs, led to the win. Zack Wheeler got the win behind home runs by Anthony Recker and Kirk Nieuwenhuis.
While watching this game on Sunday afternoon, I fell asleep around the 6th inning and woke up once the game had ended. I had to look at MLB AtBat to see the final score. And so begins a week of falling behind on my updates. I'm writing this on Saturday the 12th, trying to play catch up.
