Lance Story, Part III

:: Erin informs Erik, Shiela, and Shayna that she and Sage are leaving...and eventually...they say their goodbyes and wish them good luck. ::
:: Sage, Mystic, Lance, Nemo, Ralan, and Erin, make their way to the Arisnian castle...where Bobert is located ::
:: They decide to walk, and by sundown, they make it to the castle doors ::
<Lance> Damn...we should have used a portal.
<Mystic> Oh well...good exercise.
<Erin> :: looks around :: Ah...home.
<Lance> Yea...I remember the good 'ol days. Me, Mystic, and Erin hanging out on the castle roof.
<Mystic> Yea...it's been a while.
<Nemo> :: knocks on the gigantic wood doors that enter into the Arisnian Castle. ::
<Sage> Mom...how come we never visited the castle...even though we live in Arisnia?
<Erin> Cuz your father's lazy.
<Lance> Damn straight.
<Erin> :: smacks Lance on the back of the head ::
:: the giant doors open, and two Arisnian Guards greet them at the door ::
<Guards> Mystic...nice to see you back...and safe.
<Mystic> :: nods ::
<Guards> :: look at Lance and Erin :: And you two. Welcome back to your home town.
<Lance> Yea...We haven't been around to cause trouble for quite some time.
<Guard> :: smirks :: After you guys left...all of us were able to relax.
<Erin> :: grins :: Yea...that sounds about right
:: they all walk in to Castle Courtyard ::
<Guard> Your monkey friend is becoming popular around here. Next thing you know...he'll be king.
:: the Arisnian King comes barging out of the Castle Doors and into the Castle Courtyard ::
:: Bobert...the three-foot flying monkey...is flying behind him, in a full, leather, uniform. ::
<Arisnian King> :: looks around the courtyard :: I'll miss you.
<Bobert> Mwahahahaha! I rule all!
<Arisnian King > :: walks to the center of the Castle Courtyard and kneels down in front of Bobert :: Here...I guess...this is rightfully yours. :: takes off his crown ::
<Guard> What the...
<Bobert> That's right...Give it ya little bitch!
<Mystic> :: runs over to Bobert and the King ::
:: all the others follow ::
<Mystic> Hey! What's going on?!
<Arisnian King> :: looks at Mystic :: Mystic...my friend...I'm being forced to retire the throne.
<Mystic> What?! Why?!
<Arisnian King> I like to keep things relatively peaceful...and we just got a threat from the ruler of Ryoka. He said that if I didn't give the crown to Bobert, the flying monkey, he'd send a plague to Arisnia, and wipe us all out.
<Mystic> So you're giving in...just like that?
<Arisnian King> I'm afraid I have to...We were already attacked by a Ryoka Knight. It took three of us to take him out. They're much stronger.
<Bobert> It's mine! All mine!
<Mystic> :: starts getting pretty pissed off ::
<Arisnian King> :: sighs and puts the crown on Bobert's head ::
<Bobert> Woohoo!
<Mystic> Damn it, monkey! :: punches the monkey in the stomach ::
<Bobert> :: opens his mouth, and two wings, a beak, a parrot's feet, torso, and head, come flying out of his mouth. ::
<Nemo> :: jumps back ::
<Mystic> Bobert! What the hell is that!?
<Lance> :: looks at it :: Hey! That's my parrot!
<Bobert> ...So that's what's been poking at my stomach.
<Lance> Mystic! My parrot! Bobert ate it about two years ago...and it's still semi-in tact! Put it back together!
<Mystic> Dude...I'm not touching that...besides...we've got more important matters.
<Lance> Use magic smart one.
<Mystic> :: frowns and looks at the pieces of parrot :: ...whatever :: waves his hand and the parrot becomes one again ::
<Parrot> :: squawks and flies on Lance's shoulder. ::
<Lance> Parrot!
<Parrot> Parrot! Parrot! Parrot!
<Lance> Hehe. Good Parrot.
<Erin> :: smacks her forehead :: Ya just had to fix the parrot...
<Mystic> ...Ugh...
<Bobert> Shut up people, and bow down!
<Parrot> Bow down! Bow down!
<Nemo> Shut up parrot.
<Parrot> Parrot! Parrot!
<Sage> Ahhh! :: jumps up and whacks the parrot off of Lance's shoulder ::
<Parrot> Ahhh! Ahhh! :: rolls on the ground and falls unconscious ::
<Ralan> Thanks Sage.
<Sage> :: nods :: Don't mention it
<Lance> :: shrugs :: At least he's still alive...But he'll need a cage...
<Mystic> My pleasure... :: creates a cage for the parrot, and puts the parrot inside ::
<Arisnian Dude (Former King)> :: stands up ::
<Lance> :: looks at the dude. :: Well...Long time no see. :: smiles ::
<Dude> :: smiles back :: Yes...It's been a while. :: looks at Erin :: The elder of the Legendary Night Family.
<Erin> :: nods ::
<Dude> It was a shame your parents had to die the way they did...Your brother Xander tried to help. He was one of the only Night members that hadn't left. Too bad though. The Arisnians weren't made to be warriors...they were made to be mages.
<Lance> :: nods :: I learned a lot while I was traveling.
<Mystic> :: smirks :: I learned more
<Dude> Mystic...I could tell you'd be a First Class Mage the moment you were born.
<Mystic> But of course.
<Bobert> :: flys in the air so he's level with every one else :: I think I'll go return to my throne now. I may have to thank that evil monkey friend of mine. And to think.I thought we'd be enemies. :: flies back to the castle ::
<Ralan> :: shakes his head :: And that monkey used to be so sane.
<Lance> Yea...All Soul's Inn really gets to your brain.
<Ralan> That's for sure...nnnnnyeh. :: twitches his neck ::
<Nemo> ...Here we go again.
<Sage> :: laughs :: What's he doing?
<Ralan> nnnnnyeh.
<Lance> This is what being old looks like. :: smirks ::

<Dude> Does he always do this?
<Mystic> Yea...He's gotta split personality. This is what he does when he's switching.
<Frosty> Ooooooh! Castle! Grass! :: rolls around in the grass ::
<Dude> ...Hmmm...Is he Malkavian?
<Lance> Heh...How'd ya guess?
<Dude> :: smiles :: My all mighty wisdom.
<Nemo> This may be a weird question to ask...but what is your real name?
<Dude> ...My real name?
<Nemo> :: nods ::
<Dude> ...Uh...It's kind of...uh...

<Dude> Alright...my real name is Asekabekazeba

<Dude> Asekabekazeba...It means Holy Shit in the Ancient Arisnian Language.

<Lance> Heh...I grew up with you as my King...but I never knew your name. How'd that happen?
<Ase> I dunno. I've always been known as the Arisnian King.
<Erin> Yea...well...nice to meet you...Ase.
<Ase> :: smiles and nods ::
<Frosty> Grass! Woohoo! Grass! :: pulls out some grass and throws it in the air...still rolling ::
<Nemo> Well...Arisnia doesn't have much else to offer.
<Lance> Yea...Most likely Bobert's siding with Mojojojo now.
<Erin> I guess we don't take him along.
<Mystic> No...He'd double-cross us even if he was on our team.
<Lance> I wonder why he traveled this far to help us, and in the end, he doesn't even side with us.

<Nemo> Well...I guess technically he didn't know that Mojojojo would put him as King.
<Ralan> ...Hmmm...

Imanevilmonkey: So did everything go well? Were you appointed King?
Imaflyingmonkey: Yes...You're plan worked. I'll take over Arisnia, and we'll kill off the rest of them.
Imanevilmonkey: Perfect. Try to contact as many people as possible. We can't let them turn everybody back to the right side.
Imaflyingmonkey: You're the one in Rhydin. You should do it.
Imanevilmonkey: I tried, but the only one who really listens to me is Sophi.
Imaflyingmonkey: Fine. But they use portals. I have to fly. I won't be able to get to the others fast enough.
Imanevilmonkey: Tough. You'll figure it out. Besides, Lance and the others don't even know where to find the others.
Imaflyingmonkey: Ah...good point.
Imanevilmonkey: Of course it's a good point.
Imaflyingmonkey: Shut up...I'm smarter than you.
Imanevilmonkey: No you are not! I am Mojojojo! No one is smarter than me!
Imaflyingmonkey: Whatever. Let's just get this over with, and take over the world.
Imanevilmonkey: Fine by me.
Imaflyingmonkey: Alright...
Imaflyingmonkey: DUMBASS!

<Bobert> :: snickers :: This is perfect. I do what Mojojojo says so he thinks I'm with him...Then I help Lance and the others overpower him, and once he's out of the way, I'll be ruler of Arisnia and Ryoka...and eventually...I will rule the world! Mwuhahahaha!

<Mojojojo> :: snickers :: This is perfect. I get Bobert to make sure everyone kills Lance and the others that turned, then I kill Bobert...which makes me ruler of Ryoka, and Arisnia! Next stop...the world! Mwuhahahaha!

<Mystic> Yea...good point.
<Ase> Hey...can I go with you guys? I'm no warrior...but I can cast a few spells. Arisnia has nothing left to give me.
<Erin> Yea...that'd be great.
<Lance> Yea...and now you can't punish us.
<Nemo> Plus any help we can get is good.
<Ase> :: smiles :: Alright...thanks
<Mystic> :: waves his hand and a portal appears in a tree in the courtyard ::
<Ralan> :: nods :: Let's go then.
:: Everyone walks through the portal...when Bobert comes flying out of the Castle...and zips through the portal just before it closes ::
:: They all step out onto the Streets of Rhydin, where it is now night time ::
:: Bobert flys out of the portal and it closes right behind him ::
:: everyone looks up at Bobert ::
<Lance> Bobert! What are you doing?! You have a kingdom to run now!
<Ase> Yea! Please don't tell me I had to give my kingdom over to someone who doesn't know the first thing about ruling.
<Bobert> Well...I came to tell some people I wouldn't be returning. Bye now. :: flys away ::
<Mystic> :: smacks his forehead ::
<Ralan> This can only mean trouble.
<Lance> Let's just stick to the plan.
<Erin> Yea...We need to find the others and turn them back to normal.
<Sage> :: looks at Ralan :: When are we going hunting?
<Ralan> :: looks down at Sage :: Soon enough. We're kinda busy at the moment.
<Sage> :: snorts and folds his arms across his chest ::
<Erin> Hmm...I don't think it's a good idea to take Sage along with us. I don't want him getting hurt.
<Sage> I just wanna hunt.
<Lance> Maybe we should take him back to the Hideaway Home, and pick him up when Ralan can take him hunting.
<Ase> I can watch him, since I'm not really needed.
<Mystic> :: nods :: That works out.
<Erin> :: looks at Ase and Sage :: I'll take you guys to the house.
<Lance> :: looks at Erin :: We'll come get you in a little bit.
<Erin> :: nods :: Alright. Catch ya later then.
<Lance> Oh...heh...take this with you...and hang it up somewhere... :: hands Erin his parrot's cage, with the parrot inside ::
<Erin> :: smirks and looks at the parrot :: Alright...later
:: Ase, Erin, and Sage walk away ::
<Nemo> Well...where should we start looking?
<Ralan> The All Soul's Inn would be a good place to check.
<Lance> Yea...even when they are evil...they might still be hanging around there.
<Mystic> Yea...keep in mind, some of them are probably in Ryoka with Mojojojo. That's where Sophi is at least.
<Lance> :: shrugs :: I guess we'll hunt down the Rhydiners first.
<Nemo> Sounds good.
:: they walk to the All Soul's Inn ::
<Mystic> :: stops in front of the door :: There's people inside.
:: they stand near the door and listen to what's being said ::
<Bobert> So...if any of you happen to see Lance, Mystic, Nemo, Ralan, Frosty, Erin, Some dude you don't know...or that little kid...attack them right away!
<Caitrin> :: nods :: Ralan's mine.
<Xander> Bout time I get to have revenge on that little punk Lance. This'll be for settin me on fire and dressin me up like a chicken.
<Chrys> :: grins slightly...remembering that night ::
<Dru> :: laughs :: I say go Lance. Anyone to kill Xander should go down in history.
<Xander> Shut your fuckin mouth, Dru.
<Glare> Xander...don't make me come over there.
<Xander> :: jumps out of his seat :: Step up!
<Glare> :: stands up ::
<Dru> Kill him, Glare!
<Rebecca> Hey! Shut up Dru!
<Caitrin> :: pounds his fist on the table :: Will you all...please...just...shut the hell up?
:: everyone goes quiet...and Xander and Glare sit back down ::

<Caitrin> :: nods ::
<Odin> Well...are we done yet?
<Bobert> Yea...keep on the look out.
<Starr> Why couldn't Sophi or Rose come again?
<Bobert> :: shrugs :: Sophi's been warned, and Rose went missing.
<Alyssa> I wish I had gone missing. This is all too confusing.
<Rebecca> All you have to do is hunt down Lance and the others...half-wit.
<Alyssa> Was that a threat?!
<Rebecca> No...
<Alyssa> Oh...
<Mathias> Well...it's kinda late, I should get going.
<Tifa> Yea...I've got stuff to do.
<Xander> Yea...Besides... :: looks at Vegeta :: Isn't it past your bed time?
<Vegeta> :: mutters :: Why couldn't Xander have been the one we're going for?
<Xander> What was that?
<Vegeta> :: stands up :: Screw you guys...I'm going home. :: walks towards the door ::
<Bobert> Alright everyone. Keep on the lookout. I have to get back to my kingdom now. :: starts flying towards the door ::
<Mystic> They're coming! :: dives in the bushes ::
<Ralan> :: jumps in after Mystic ::
<Nemo> :: jumps to the other side of the door ::
<Lance> :: just as the door opens, he dives after Nemo...and Vegeta sees part of Lance's shoe disappear into the bushes ::
<Vegeta> What was that? :: steps out and swings the door shut...slapping Bobert right in the face ::
<Bobert> Oof :: falls down on the floor ::
<Vegeta> :: slowly walks towards the bushes :: Is someone there?
<Nemo> :: lifts his hand in the air, and Vegeta flies into a tree and gets a massive hit to the head ::
<Vegeta> Owe! :: falls dead on the floor ::
<Lance> :: grabs Vegeta and pulls him into the bushes as the door to the inn swings open once more, and Bobert steps out ::
<Bobert> Vegeta! What was that all about!? :: looks around :: Vegeta?
<Odin> :: whacks Bobert from behind :: Hurry up ya damn monkey.
<Bobert> :: flies out of the way :: Arg...
<Odin> :: walks out onto the street ::
<Xander> :: walks out behind Odin ::
:: Xia, Dru, Rebecca, Tifa, Glare, Caitrin, Mathias, Starr, and Aly file out behind them ::
<Chrys> :: stays inside, looking out the window ::
<Vegeta> :: slowly opens his eye's coming back to life :: Whoa...where am I?
<Lance> Shhh...:: puts his hand over Vegeta's mouth ::
<Aly> What was that? :: stops as everyone else walks out on the street and continues home ::
<Lance> :: thinks :: Shit
<Aly> :: stares at the bush :: Hmmm... :: walks away ::
<Lance> whew :: puts his head out above the bush ::
<Nemo> :: puts his head out...followed by Vegeta ::
<Mystic and Ralan> :: poke their head out ::
<Vegeta> What's going on?
<Lance> :: stands up...followed by everyone else ::
<Mystic> I'll explain later. It's kind of a long story.
<Nemo> Chrys is still inside. I didn't see her come out.
<Lance> ...I don't want to have to kill Chrys...Isn't there some other way of turning people back to our side?
<Mystic> No...Not that I know of.
<Lance> ...Damn...
<Vegeta> Kill her? Why do we have to kill her?
<Mystic> Once again...I'll explain later.
<Nemo> Well...lets just see how this goes. :: opens the door and walks in ::
:: everyone else follows ::
<Chrys> :: looks up at them ::
<Lance> :: smirks :: Hey Chrys.
<Chrys> :: grins and pulls the end of her sleeve down a little farther :: Hello Sir Lance.
<Nemo> :: nods to her ::
<Chrys> ...These are intresting times. I'm supposed to be killing you right now.
<Lance> :: smirks :: Yea...We're supposed to be killing you too.
<Chrys> Oh really? I thought you guys would just be after the King.
<Lance> Well...It's a little more complicated. You guys have been hypnotized into following Mojojojo, who plans to take over the world. If we kill you, you get over his spell thing, and join our side.
<Chrys> ... :: looks at the stars ::
<Lance> I don't want to kill you though. Even though you'll still be alive, it's kinda weird.
<Chrys> :: turns to him :: I wasn't planning on killing you either...Sir Lance. :: looks to Vegeta :: So you've chosen sides?
<Vegeta> I dunno...I just woke up in the bushes...
<Lance> He was flung into a tree...I guess the impact killed him, so he woke up free from the spell.
:: there's a small pause ::
<Chrys> :: slowly stands up :: Well...we both have a task...I have to kill you, and you have to kill me.
<Lance> :: nods ::
<Chrys> Maybe we could just hit each other at the same time...and see what happens from there.
<Lance> Uh... :: looks at Nemo and Ralan ::
<Nemo> :: nods ::
<Ralan> :: shrugs :: Might as well.
<Chrys> :: looks at him :: Well...
<Lance> :: smirks :: Lets just get this over with.
<Chrys> :: looks at the chair and picks it up ::
<Lance> :: picks up a chair :: On the count of three...
<Chrys> One...
<Lance> Two...
<Chrys> Three! ...
<Lance> :: swings his chair at Chrys ::
<Chrys> :: swings her chair at Lance ::
WHACK!

:: early next morning... ::
<Lance> :: slowly comes into consciousness, and opens his eyes :: ...Ugh :: slowly rubs his temples ::
<Erin> :: smiles :: Mornin'
<Lance> Heh... :: slowly sits up and smiles, recognizing Erin's room in the Hideaway Home :: ...What happened?
<Erin> You took a hit in the back of the head and got knocked out...
<Lance> ...And Chrys?
<Erin> Temple Shot. Ya killed her. She's back on our side now. Mystic just finished debriefing her...Vegeta too.
<Lance> :: puts his feet off the side of the bed and stands up ::
<Erin> You alright?
<Lance> Yea...I'm cool now.
<Erin> Alright... :: opens the door to her room which immediately leads into the living room, where Mystic, Chrys, and Vegeta are sitting on the couch, Sage on the floor, Ase, Nemo, and Ralan all in a chair ::
<Mystic> Hey Lance.
<Lance> :: nods and sits in another chair ::
<Parrot> Hey Lance! Hey Lance! :: swinging the cage hanging from the ceiling back and forth ::
<Chrys> ...Sorry if I was any trouble Sir Lance...
<Lance> :: smirks :: It's alright.
<Erin> :: sits in a chair next to Lance ::
<Vegeta> ...Does this mean we get to hunt down Xander?
<Ralan> ... :: nods :: And Caitrin... :: evil grin ::
<Nemo> ...And Rose... :: sighs :: ...
<Ase> ...We still need to find Karadur. What'll happen if we defeat Mojojojo? Who becomes King?
<Parrot> Who becomes King? Who becomes King?
:: there's a pause, as they all ponder ::

<Bobert> :: after quite some time of flying, he finally reaches Arisnia, and flies over the Castle Walls, and straight into the Castle Courtyard ::
<Guard> :: pretends he doesn't see Bobert so he's not forced into doing something absurd that only a flying monkey like Bobert would think of ::
<Bobert> :: ignores the Guard...too tired to make him stand on his head...and walks into his Castle Chambers ::
<Servant> Lord Bobert...May I get you anything?
<Bobert> Elven Brain... :: drops down on his mini-bed :: ...and my laptop
<Servant> :: nods and walks away...rolling his eyes in disgust when Bobert can't see him ::
<Bobert> :: starts gathering his energy back ::
<Servant> :: brings him his "food" and his computer ::
<Bobert> :: takes them and turns on his computer...then signs online ::

Imanevilmonkey: Hello Bobert...All's well?
Imaflyingmonkey: Indeed
Imanevilmonkey: So everyone's aware, and alert?
Imaflyingmonkey: Everyone but Rose...
Imanevilmonkey: Still no sign of her?
Imaflyingmonkey: Nope...haven't seen her since the night you turned everybody.
Imanevilmonkey: Hmmm...Where could she have gone to?

:: meanwhile...in the Rose Estates ::
<Rose> :: sits there in her mansion...with no one else present ::
<Rose> :: stares intently at a chair sitting across from her...seeming to stare through it ::
<Rose> :: snaps out of it, and looks around :: Mojojojo! He's gonna destroy everything! I've gotta stop him!

Imaflyingmonkey: ...Is it possible that you could have half changed someone? She was behind you when you cast the spell...Following me out the door.
Imanevilmonkey: ...If that's true, she'll be flippin out for a while...Siding with me, and then siding against me...Kind of like a split personality.
Imaflyingmonkey: ...And if that's true...She'd know everything. She would know your plans and how your going to rule the world, because she wasn't fully brain washed...

<Rose> :: goes back into a trance and stares at the chair ::
<Rose> :: snaps out of it ::
<Rose> Must serve and protect Lord Mojojojo! I have to report back to Ryoka!
<Rose> :: goes into another trance ::

Imanevilmonkey: She's a key player then...If Lance finds her, he'll know exactly what to do to stop me, rather than go on that silly killing rampage.
Imaflyingmonkey: She'd also be able to tell Lance I've been sided with you the whole time...and of my plans...
:: there's a pause, as the two of them think about how this could ruin both of their individual plans ::
Imanevilmonkey: ...We have to find her before they do!
