Lloyd Memorial raced out to a 15-0 lead in the final quarter but had to withstand a Bourbon County rally to earn a 22-20 victory and knock the Colonels from the unbeaten ranks. Lloyd Memorial recorded 281 yards of total defense, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Bourbon County recorded 169 yards of total offense, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Lincoln Tomlinson led Lloyd Memorial’s ground game with 86 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Avery Conrad carried the ball eight times for 29 yards. Kaleb Evans completed 14 of 24 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Isaiah Jones caught two passes for 63 yards and a touchdown. Colten Barger added seven receptions for 41 yards. Billy Lewis recorded two catches for 33 yards and a touchdown. Lincoln Tomlinson led the defense with 12 solo and six assisted tackles. Avery Conrad added five solo and five assisted tackles. D. Peterson recorded five solo and four assisted tackles. Ryan Miller chipped in with four solo and one assisted tackles. Brayden Schneider recovered a fumble and LJ Herron intercepted two passes.

Shayne Bowling led Bourbon County’s ground game with 33 yards on nine carries. Jacob Ezell carried the ball once for 14 yards *. Malachi Rennie completed 10 of 27 passes for 100 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions *. Jacob Ezell caught six passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns *. Myles Heilig caught one pass for 37 yards. Bryson Carr recorded three receptions for 16 yards and a touchdown. Malachi Rennie led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles. Shayne Bowling added three solo and four assisted tackles. Fred Carson recorded two solo and three assisted tackles. Kareem Davis chipped in with one solo and four assisted tackles. King Lee recorded three solo and two assisted tackles. Quinton Rice recovered a fumble.

(Note: * One source reported that the 15 yard touchdown by Jacob Ezell was a running play. However the Bourbon County stats recorded it as a 15 yard pass to Ezell from Malachi Rennie. Sometimes it can be difficult to ascertain where it is a shovel pass or a hand off but for purposes of this writeup I left it as a pass.)
