Conner got back in the win column as they took advantage of early Boone County miscues to roll to a 53-14 victory over the Rebels. Conner recorded 333 yards of total offense. The Cougars were penalized 12 times for 95 yards and lost a fumble. Boone County recorded 251 yards of total offense. The Rebels were penalized five times for 44 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Joesiah Hernandez led Conner’s ground game with 81 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Mason Buckler carried the ball four times for 49 yards. Tristan Campbell recorded 25 yards and a touchdowns on two carries. Jasiah Lampkin carried the ball four times for 20 yards and two touchdowns. Grayson Montgomery also ran for a touchdown. Grayson Montgomery completed 11 of 20 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns. Aydin Depenbrock caught seven passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns. Travis Keen led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles. Ethan Estvanko added seven assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Henry Krallman recorded three solo and two assisted tackles and scored on a 23 yard interception return. DeShawn Champ chipped in with four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.

Steven Johnson led Boone County’s ground game with 80 yards on 19 carries. Hunter Butsch carried the ball twice for 15 yards. Michael Chiasson completed eight of 13 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Mason Coughenour caught three passes for 100 yards and a touchdown. Amare Newberry caught three passes for 48 yards and a touchdown. Javier Diaz led the defense with 10 solo tackles. Hunter Butsch added six solo tackles and recovered a fumble. Travis Hodges and Mateo Granados also recorded six solo tackles. Liam Kolks chipped in with five solo tackles and Jeremiah Sanchez added four solo tackles.

Frederick Douglass played a complete game on both sides of the ball in a 14-0 shutout victory over Male on the road. Frederick Douglass recorded 15 first downs and 301 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized once for five yards. Male recorded seven first downs and 174 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized twice for 25 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Dakari Talbert led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 192 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. Jeremiah Turner carried the ball seven times for 30 yards. Jayden Guzman completed 11 of 15 passes for 127 yards. Kane Pointer caught five passes for 66 yards. Terry Cayson added three receptions for 33 yards. DeAndre Clay recorded two receptions for 21 yards. TJ Stewart chipped in with one catch for seven yards. Cionne Conn returned one punt for eight yards. Cionne Conn led the defense with one solo and five assisted tackles. Jimmy Hooks and Keenan Banther each recorded two solo and two assisted tackles. DeVaughn Ellery, Tacor Fields, and Thurman Wade each added two solo and one assisted tackles. Demond Green recorded two solo tackles with one of his tackles recording in an eight yard loss. Keenan Banther also intercepted a pass.

Christian White led Male’s ground game with 49 yards on four carries. Steron Davidson carried the ball six times for 33 yards. Tyson Kinsel recorded 24 yards on six carries. Cortney Jones chipped in with 12 yards on four carries. Jordan Williams completed five of 13 passes for 51 yards with one interception. Steron Davidson completed his only pass for 14 yards. Jesse Jones caught two passes for 31 yards. Saivion Vaughn caught two passes for 25 yards. Seth Hanson punted three times for a 43.7 average with a long punt of 46 yards with one punt inside the 20 yard line and kicked off once for 60 yards and a touch down. Ja’Ron Combs led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles. Steron Davidson added six solo tackles with two of his tackles results in losses totaling seven yards. Albert Bledsaw recorded five solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. Christian White recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 28 yards.

Lexington Christian Academy utilized a balance offense and took advantage of DuBois mistakes (14 penalties for 120 yards) to earn a 42-13 victory on the road. LCA recorded 17 first downs and 405 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized seven times for 63 yards. Lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. W.E.B. DuBois recorded 14 first downs and 411 yards of total offense. They were penalized 14 times for 120 yards.

Nash Whalen led LCA’s ground game with 115 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Bennett Gudalis carried the ball seven times for 42 yards and two touchdowns. Nash Whalen completed 12 of 19 passes for 254 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Tyler King caught four passes for 86 yards and a touchdown. Jeremiah Burbage caught two passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. Dawson Farmer added two receptions for 42 yards. Conrad Hart caught to passes for 33 yards and a touchdown. John Simon Bertram added two catches for 28 yards. Tyler King returned two kickoffs for 61 yards with a long return of 32 yards and returned one punt for 10 yards. Harrison Samford returned one kickoff for 23 yards. Dean Hester was six of six on extra point attempts, punted twice for a 37.0 average with one punt inside the 20 yard line, and kicked off seven times for a 57.0 average with four touch backs. Aiden Lyons led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles. Dawson Farmer added four solo and two assisted tackles. Thomas Sizemore recorded three solo and three assisted tackles. Jaxon Ramsey added three solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. Logan Mays chipped in with three solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 15 yards. Bode Darland recorded three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss.

Cameron Fugate led DuBois’ ground game with 27 yards on eight carries. Brian Dickerson completed 25 of 46 passes for 388 yards and two touchdowns. Joveon Harris completed two of two passes for eight yards. Joveon Harris caught nine passes for 76 yards. Devin High added six receptions for 110 yards. Rashad High recorded four catches for 72 yards and a touchdown. Kedrean Yarnell caught one pass for 77 yards and a touchdown. Joveon Harris returned one kickoff for 17 yards and returned one punt for four yards. Karon Moore returned two kickoffs for 38 yards with a long return of 23 yards. Earnest Perry and Jordan Dickerson led the defense with each recording three solo and one assisted tackles with one of Dickerson’s tackles resulting in a three yard loss. Jamaal Haskins recorded three solo tackles. Jacorieon Ford added two solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Jordan Roberts recovered a fumble.

Ashland’s offensive line opened the holes and their speedy backs did the rest to defeat Greenup County 35-21 despite turning the ball over four times. Ashland Blazer recorded 16 first downs and 493 yards of total offense. The The Tomcats were penalized one time for 10 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted. Greenup County recorded 13 first downs and 322 yards of total offense. The Musketeers were penalized six times for 50 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Brody Simpkins led Ashland’s ground game with 200 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Cam Davis carried the ball eight times for 193 yards and three touchdowns. Trevonte Taylor recorded 74 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Justin Hughes was zero of two in the passing department with one interception. Tanner Stutler completed one of three passes for 12 yards with one interception. Cameron Davis caught one pass for 12 yards. Mason Wolfe led the defense with 10 solo tackles. Keshawn Newman added seven solo and two assisted tackles. JJ Keyes recorded seven solo and one assisted tackles. Brody Simpkins chipped in with five solo tackles. (Collins QB Kade Goodin was out tonight with an injury).

Skyler Way led Scott County’s ground game with 164 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. Timmy Emongo carried the ball nine times for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Jayden Garrett recorded 36 yards on three carries. Ian Keeth chipped in with 26 yards on five carries. JT Wells carried the ball twice for 10 yards and a touchdown. Charlie Ellison completed four of five passes for 87 yards and a touchdown. Timmy Emongo caught two passes for 43 yards and a touchdown. Red Owens added one reception for 24 yards. Ryle defeated Tates Creek by the score of 37-0. This was a game of two teams trending in opposite directions. Ryle has been plagued with injuries but are finally starting to get players back while Tates Creek resembles a M.A.S.H. unit with two of their top running backs out and without the services of one of their top receivers. Ryle recorded 21 first downs and 379 yards of total offense. The Raiders were penalized seven times for 71 yards. Tates Creek recorded two first downs and 29 yards of total offense (-10 yards on the ground). The Commodores were penalized 13 times for 89 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Jacob Savage led Ryle’s ground game with 93 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Dameyn Anness carried the ball 12 times for 85 yards and a touchdown. Xavier Collins recorded 45 yards on three carries. Nathan Verax carried the ball four times for 26 yards. Gavin Lyons chipped in with 12 yards on two carries. Nathan Verax completed 10 of 19 passes for 85 yards and one touchdown. Charlie Park completed two of four passes for 19 yards and a touchdown. Brody Smith completed two of two passes for nine yards. Jacob Savage caught four passes for 33 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Lee added three receptions for 11 yards and a touchdown. Cruze Sauley recorded two receptions for 34 yards. Shouncey Wynn caught one pass for 14 yards. Evan Kincaid returned one punt for 19 yards. Dameyn Anness returned one kickoff for 18 yards. Bo Gay led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss. Jesse Nunn added two solo and two assisted tackles. Andrew Smith also recorded two solo and two assisted tackles. Dylan Lee recorded three solo tackles and scored on a 40 yard fumble recovery return. Jacob Savage recorded one solo tackles for a fifteen yard loss. Evan Kincaid intercepted a pass.

Kaleb Murphy led Tates Creek’s ground game with five yards on eight carries. Darnell Burnside completed nine of 19 passes for 39 yards with one interception. Triston Taylor caught seven passes for 24 yards. JT Cooper added two receptions for 15 yards. Triston Taylor returned four kickoffs for 80 yards with a long return of 29 yards. Dvaughn Flowers led the defense with four solo and seven assisted tackles. Adrian Smith added two solo and six assisted tackles. Rekus Greer, Jabari Young, and Shawn Taylor each recorded three solo and three assisted tackles with one of Shawn Taylor’s tackles resulting in a three yard loss.

The Defenders were penalized five times for 30 yards and had a pass intercepted. Simon Kenton recorded 21 first downs and 336 yards of total offense. The Pioneers were penalized eight times for 75 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Avery Johnson led the Bryan Station ground game with 40 yards on 13 carries. Kerwin Montgomery carried the ball five times for 11 yards. Kamani Barbour recorded 10 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Raymond Young also ran for a touchdown. Coleson Carpenter completed 12 of 17 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Brayden Payne caught four passes for 38 yards. Kamani Barbour added three receptions for 73 yards. Tyler Crutcher added two receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown. Kamani Barbour returned one punt for 15 yards. Alaji Bojang returned two kickoffs for 41 yards with a long return of 28 yards. The Generals were penalized four times for 42 yards and had a pass intercepted. East Jessamine recorded 10 first downs and 178 yards of total offense. The Jaguars were penalized seven times for 43 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Tyree Richardson led Lafayette’s ground game with 63 yards on nine carries. Harrison Stephens carried the ball five times for 37 yards. Jehovanis Kondo score a touchdown on the ground. Jehovanis Kondo completed 13 of 25 passes for 218 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. Colton Coleman caught four passes for 96 yards and a touchdown. Harrison Stephens added two receptions for 54 yards and two touchdowns. Jackson Grantz recorded two catches for 45 yards and a touchdown. Colton Coleman returned one punt for 11 yards. Jackson Grantz was five of five on conversion kicks, added a 48 yard field goal, punted twice for a 39.0 average, and kicked off six times for a 55.0 average and one touch back. Jackson Grantz led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 39 yards. Jayshawn Crosby led Paul Laurence Dunbar’s ground game with 95 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries. Dominic Faulkner also scored a touchdown on the ground. Dominic Faulkner completed seven of nine passes for 119 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Jett Bailey completed one of two passes for14 yards and one touchdown. Henry Clay defeated North Bullitt 46-8 to give Coach Phillip Hawkins his first victory as head coach at Henry Clay. Henry Clay recorded 18 first downs and 383 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized seven times for 76 yards. North Bullitt recorded nine first downs and 157 yards of total offense. They were penalized five times for 40 yards and lost two fumbles.

Zach Hoellein led Henry Clay’s ground game with 163 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries. Safal Gurung carried the ball 15 times for 99 yards. Aiden Huston completed five of 16 passes for 110 yards and three touchdowns. Chaii Paris caught two passes for 61 yards and two touchdowns. Marcus Owens added two receptions for 18 yards. Henry Morgan added a 31 yard touchdown reception. Chaii Paris returned one kickoff for 19 yards. Vinny Kirk led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles with one fumble recovery.
