Campbell County led 21-17 after three quarters but Simon Kenton utilized their offensive line and power running to score 21 unanswered in the final quarter to earn a 38-21 victory. Simon Kenton recorded 587 yards of total offense. The Pioneers were penalized four times for 30 yards and had one turnover. Campbell County recorded 283 yards of total offense. The Camels were penalized six times for 60 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Landon Brown led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 162 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. Grant Webb carried the ball nine times for 152 yards. Jordan Pendleton recorded 107 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Grant Webb completed 10 of 22 passes for 149 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Gtayson Harris caught five passes for 78 yards. Jordan Pendleton added two receptions for 23 yards. Forrest Hughes caught a 21 yard touchdown reception. Jaxon Davis led the defense with one solo and 12 assisted tackles. Jason Rabe added one solo and eight assisted tackles. Tucker Ober recorded five solo and three assisted tackles. Colton Farfsing chipped in with three solo and four assisted tackles. Eli Mullins recorded four solo and one assisted tackles, recovered a fumble, and intercepted a pass. Grayson Harris also intercepted a pass.

Trevor Bertram led Campbell County’s ground game with 83 yards on 14 carries. Cooper Lairson carried the ball four times for 22 yards and a touchdown. Xander Guy completed 16 of 29 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Cade Anthrop caught four passes for 91 yards and a touchdown. Gavin Richardson added four receptions for 70 yards and one touchdown. Alex Reidinger led the defense with nine solo and three assisted tackles. Cole Heisier added five solo and five assisted tackles. Michael Burto recorded two solo and six assisted tackles. Ayden Earls and Aiden Seibert each recorded three solo tackles.

Hopkinsville held on to defeat Henderson County by the score of 31-29. This game featured big plays by both teams, a lot of turnovers, and enough plot twists to have come from an Agatha Christie murder mystery. The game came down to the final play as Henderson County had advanced the ball to the Hopkinsville 46 yard line. Jack Dalton took the hand off with four seconds remaining on the clock but was unable to find an open receiver raced to the 16 yard line as the clock ran out. Hopkinsville recorded 15 first downs and 291 yards of total offense. The Tigers were penalized 12 times for 92 yards, lost three fumbles, and had one pass intercepted. Henderson County recorded 18 first downs and 311 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized eight times for 55 yards, lost a fumble, and had three passes intercepted.

James Bradley led Hopkinsville’s ground game with 82 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries. Bradley also scored on two point conversions and on a 63 yard return of a free kick following a safety. Jeremiah Smith carried the ball twice for 13 yards. Jasiah McCarley completed 12 of 25 passes for 194 yards and one touchdown with one pass intercepted. Aiden Jessie caught five passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. Keyshun Teal caught one pass for 30 yards. Tremayne Clay recorded one catch for 29 yards. James Bradley caught four passes for 28 yards. Foster Jackson led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Jordan Catlett added four solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Tremayne Clay and Kavon Johnson each recorded four solo and one assisted tackles. Jayvon Bass, Jordan Duerson, and Kaden Humphrey each recorded an interception.

Jack Dalton led Henderson County’s ground game with 126 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. Brody Belt carried the ball five times for 36 yards and a touchdown. Anzerion Marigny recorded 31 yards on four carries. Kingston Shidler chipped in with 30 yards on eight carries. Brody Belt completed four of 14 passes for 53 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions. Jack Dalton completed two of five passes for 35 yards with one interception. Avant Baxter caught three passes for 57 yards and a touchdown. Jack Ryan Reusch added two receptions for 35 yards. rds. Kingston Shidler caught two passes for 23 yards. Jack Ryan Reusch, Zarian Rideout, Jack Dalton, and Avant Baxter were key contributors on defense. Hayden Turner, Christian Haygan, and Jack Dalton recovered fumbles and Avant Baxter intercepted a pass.

Covington Catholic raced out to a 35-0 first quarter lead over Harrison County on their way to a 56-0 victory. Covington Catholic recorded 15 first times and 368 yards of total offense. The Colonels had one pass intercepted. Harrison County recorded five first downs and 75 yards of total offense. The Thorobreds lost a fumble.

Dylan Gaiser led the Covington Catholic ground game with 63 yards and two touchdowns on three carries. Jace Thornton carried the ball twice for 39 yards and a touchdown. Thomas Van Auken recorded 25 yards and a touchdown on two carries. Cash Harney carried the ball once for 17 yards and a touchdown. Gavin Brake also scored a touchdown on the ground. Cash Harney completed six of eight passes for 169 yards with one interception. Logan Sanning caught one pass for 42 yards. Zach Brooks added one reception for 32 yards. Owen Pitzer recorded one reception for 28 yards, Dylan Gaiser returned to punts for 57 yards with one of his returns going 57 yards for a touchdown. Mac Cogswell returned one kickoff for 95 yards and a touchdown. Evan Link led the defense with seven solo tackles. Luke Rensing added five solo and one assisted tackles. Jace Thornton recorded four solo tackles and Luke Lampe recovered a fumble.

Karsyn Sumpter led Harrison County’s ground game with 27 yards on 10 carries. Tripp Nichols carried the ball five times for 16 yards. Ashton Gaunce added 14 yards on six carries. JaCory Hinton completed four of 13 passes for 27 yards. Landon Custard caught two passes for 21 yards. Hunter Jones returned three kickoffs for 17 yards with a long return of 12 yards. Ashton Gaunce and Landon Custard each returned one kickoff for 19 and 16 yards respectively. Brody Cox led the defense with three solo tackles. JaCory Hinton, Landon Custard, and Jackson Herring each recorded two solo tackles.

Frederick Douglass defeated Bryan Station by the score of 27-10. Frederick Douglass recorded 22 first downs and 388 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized 11 times for 138 yards. Bryan Station recorded eight first downs and 93 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized seven times for 50 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Dakari Talbert led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 159 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. Jeremiah Turner carried the ball14 times for 96 yards. Jackson Ross added 12 yards on one carry. Jayden Guzman completed nine of 14 passes for 112 yards and two touchdowns. Terry Cayson caught five passes for 71 yards. De’Andre Clay added two receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown. Jackson Ross caught a 13 yard touchdown pass. Demond Green returned one kickoff for seven yards. Demond Green led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards. Cionne Conn added three solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss and intercepted a pass he returned 18 yards.

Woodford County defeated Scott County 57-50 in a high scoring shootout. Scott County had a first down and goal from the Woodford County two yard line in the closing seconds but the Yellowjackets defense held on three running plays before time expired. Woodford County recorded 24 first downs and 534 yards of total offense. The Yellowjackets were penalized 10 times for 80 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Scott County recorded 20 first downs and 541 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized eight times for 58 yards and lost two fumbles.

Darrian Tomlin led Woodford County’s ground game with 188 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries. Ryan Brown carried the ball seven times for 29 yards. Aidyn Powell chipped in with 26 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Foxx Coons completed 18 of 32 passes for 291 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. Jalen Johnson caught six passes for 100 yards and one touchdown. Greyson Hodge added four receptions for 34 yards. Omari Jointer recorded three receptions for 77 yards and two touchdowns. Tates Creek defeated Lafayette by the score of 21-14. Tates Creek recorded 15 first downs and 268 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized 14 times for 114 yards and had a pass intercepted. Lafayette recorded 15 first downs and 244 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized seven times for 65 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

BJ Evans led Tates Creek’s ground game with 73 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Darnell Burnside carried the ball six times for 21 yards. Kaleb Murphy added 15 yards on three carries. Darnell Burnside completed 16 of 24 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. JT Cooper caught eight passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Luke Cooper added four receptions for 27 yards. Triston Taylor chipped in with four catches for 14 yards. Triston Taylor returned three kickoffs for 109 yards with a long return of 61 yards. Triston Taylor returned one punt for six yards. Shawn Taylor led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles. Miles Hayward added three solo and five assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards. Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded 13 first downs and 312 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized seven times for 53 yards and had a pass intercepted. Henry Clay recorded 12 first downs and 158 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized six times for 65 yards.

Jayshawn Crosby led Dunbar’s ground game with 132 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries. Dominic Faulkner carried the ball six times for 49 yards. Dominic Faulkner completed three of eight passes for 133 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Noah Barrett caught two passes for 41 yards and a touchdown. Jaosh Quigley added 27 yards on six carries. Nash Whalen completed 11 of 14 passes for 235 yards and four touchdowns. Tyler King caught eight passes for 85 yards and three touchdowns. Elder improves to 8-0 with a convincing 40-16 victory over Highlands in the “Pit” which once again proves to be a difficult environment to escape with a win. Elder recorded 16 first downs and 427 yards of total offense. The Panthers were penalized once for five yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Highlands recorded 22 first downs and 394 yards of total offense. The Bluebirds were penalized four times for 25 yards and had three interceptions.

Tommy Becker led Elder’s potent running game with 102 yards and four touchdowns on 14 carries. Kaden Estep carried the ball 12 times for 112 yards. Andrew Tallon recorded 86 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Kaden Estep completed six of nine passes for 121 yards with one interception. Jake Bier caught one pass for 67 yards, Chase Walpole added two receptions for 20 yards. Tommy Becker recorded two catches for 17 yards. Jackson Ruth caught one pass for 17 yards. Drew Wauligman returned two kickoffs for 25 yards with a long return of 15 yards. Derek Uran led the defense with 10 solo and seven assisted tackles. Alex Dugan added nine solo and six assisted tackles. Brody Turner recorded nine solo and four assisted tackles. Pete Fortkamp chipped in with seven solo and three assisted tackles. Cale Harris added six receptions for 66 yards. Ian Garrahan recorded five catches for 45 yards. Chase Jacob chipped in with three catches for 25 yards. Tayden Lorenzen added two receptions for 17 yards. Peyton Klosterman returned two kickoffs for 35 yards with a long return of 19 yards. Covington Catholic defeated Cathedral by the score of 17-10. The game was scoreless at halftime but Covington Catholic tallied 17 points in the third quarter and withstood a Cathedral rally in the final quarter. Starting QB Cameron Koers was forced to leave the game and was unable to return and threw a touchdown pass to get Cathedral back ib the game. Cathedral recovered an onside kick in the closing minutes of the game but the Covington Catholic defense was able to stop the Fighting Irish on downs. Covington Catholic recorded 14 first downs and 355 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized five times for 48 yards and lost two fumbles. Cathedral recorded 16 first downs and 300 yards of total offense. The Fighting Irish were penalized five times for 44 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Cah Harney led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 118 yards on 19 carries. Dylan Gaiser carried the ball nine times for 73 yards and a touchdown. Cash Harney completed 13 of 21 passes for 164 yards and a touchdown. Logan Sanning caught six passes for 57 yards. Owen Pitzer added two receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown.
