Woodford County dominated tonight holding Tates Creek to a negative three yards of total offense. Woodford County recorded 17 first downs and 396 yards of total offense. The Yellowjackets were penalized seven times for 92 yards. Tates Creek recorded two first downs and -3 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized five times for 32 yards.

K. Maxberry led Woodford County’s ground game with 49 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Braxton Glanzer carried the ball three times for 41 yards. Leland Taylor recorded 40 yards and a touchdown on two carries. Andrew Nason carried the ball eight times for 33 yards and a touchdown. Andrew Nason completed five of nine passes for 65 yards and two touchdowns. Sawyer Ford completed two of three passes for 78 yards and one touchdown. Aden Nelson completed his only pass for 41 yards and a touchdown. Aden Nelson caught two passes for 45 yards and a touchdown. Makhi Smith added two receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown. Wyatt Crowe caught one pass for 60 yards. Graham Hodge and Caleb Brown added touchdown receptions of 18 and 15 yards respectively. Leland Taylor returned two punts for 66 yards with a long return of 49 yards. Dayvion Sturgis led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Aden Nelson added two solo and two assisted tackles. Grant Garrison recorded two solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards.

M. Smith led Tates Creek’s ground game with 31 yards on five carries. A. Witherington completed one of four passes for one yard. Cooper Jackson completed one of two passes for two yards. M. Smith caught two passes for three yards. M. Smith returned three kickoffs for 58 yards with a long return of 23 yards, Logan Julian led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles. Thomas Seigler added three solo and two assisted tackles. M. Smith recorded three solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss.

Frederick Douglass continues to dominate early in the season with a 54-7 victory over Paul Laurence Dunbar. Frederick Douglass recorded 17 first downs and 341 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized 17 times for 208 yards and lost a fumble. Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded 10 firs downs and 3 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized nine times for 60 yards and had a pass intercepted.

TJ Horton led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 40 yards and three touchdowns on six carries. Pharo Watts carried the ball six times for 29 yards. DeVaun Hart added 27 yards on six carries. Josiah Lemond carried the ball four times for 25 yards and a touchdown. Ty Bryant and Cameron Dunn also ran for touchdowns. Cole Carpenter completed 12 of 20 passes for 180 yards and one touchdown. Tylon Dunn caught seven passes for 107 yards and a touchdown. Ty Bryant returned one punt for 40 yards. TJ Horton returned one kickoff for 42 yards. Cooper Ranvier kicked off eight times with seven touchbacks, Latonio Laveall led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Terrion Hicks added four solo tackles. Ty Bryant recorded three solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 18 yards. Tresean Benford interecepted a pass he returned 69 yards for a touchdown.

Cole Colony led Paul Laurence Dunbar’s ground game with 13 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Ethan Teall completed seven of 13 passes for 22 yards with one interception. Cole Colony completed four of 10 passes for eight yards. Noah Chapman caught four passes for 15 yards. Trae Berry added four receptions for five yards. Mason Hayslett led the defense with seven solo tackles. Jose Kazadi II added five solo tackles. Ryan Browning recovered a fumble.

Lexington Catholic rolled up 485 yards of total offense in a 42-19 victory over Pleasure Ridge Park. Lexington Catholic recorded 21 first downs and 485 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized once for five yards and had two passes intercepted. Pleasure Ridge Park recorded 11 first downs and 284 yards of total offense. They were penalized five times for 54 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Walker Hall led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 132 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Blake Foster carried the ball twice for 52 yards. Jackson Wasik completed 19 of 27 passes for 312 yards and five touchdowns with two interceptions. Max DeGraff caught five passes for 146 yards and three touchdowns. Hunter Foster added five receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown. Sam Clements recorded two receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown. Max Mooring returned four kickoffs for 118 yards with a long return of 32 yards. Max DeGraff punted once for 36 yards, kicked off seven times with six touchbacks and was six of six in extra points. S. Bennington led the defense with four solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss. Chris Kern added three solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 14 yards. B. Williams recorded threee solo tackles with his tackles resulting in losses totaling 15 yards. Max Bertrand intercepted a pass.

Adam Taylor led PRP’s ground game with 17 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Kayden Anderson completed 15 of 24 passes for 280 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Jakob Dixon caught eight passes for 188 yards and two touchdowns. Santana Crayton added four receptions for 50 yards. Santana Crayton returned one kickoff for 41 yards. Malakii Blackburn led the defense with nine solo tackles and intercepted one pass he returned 20 yards. Anthony Woods added seven solo and three assisted tackles. Santana Crayton recorded five solo and two assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards. Colton Carey added three solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 10 yard loss. Jerry King intercepted a pass he returned nine yards.

Belfry recorded 10 first downs and 219 yards of total offense. The Pirates were penalized once for five yards and lost two fumbles.

Jveontae Emmerson led LCA’s ground game with 85 yards on 11 carries. BJ Evans carried the ball twice for 39 yards. Cutter Boley recorded 19 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Cutter Boley completed 15 of 20 passes for 236 yards and four touchdowns. Will Nichols caught three passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns. Parker Chaney added four receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown. Major Brown caught an 11 yard touchdown pass. Major Brown led the defense with two solo and five assisted tackles. Will Bivens recorded three solo and two assisted tackles. Hunter Adams recorded three solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Evan Brown also recovered a fumble.

Dre Young led Belfry’s ground game with 144 yards on 17 carries. Caden Woolum carried the ball four times for 32 yards and a touchdown. Chase Varney was zero of three in the passing department. Simon Kenton recorded 24 first downs and 380 yards of total offense. The Pioneers were penalized six times for 55 yards and lost a fumble.

Christian Walden led Southwestern’s ground game with 152 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Tanner Wright carried the ball 16 times for 136 yards and three touchdowns. Lucas McKee recorded 41 yards on five carries. Collin Burton completed four of nine passes for 94 yards. Mason Hibbard caught two passes for 68 yards. Brody Perkins caught one pass for 24 yards.

Todd County Central, behind a great performance by Gavyn Nolan defeated Webster County by the score of 55-35. Nolan passed for three touchdowns and ran for four more touchdowns to pace the Rebels. Todd County Central recorded 28 first downs and 587 yards of total offense. The Rebels were penalized 13 times for 100 yards. Webster County recorded 11 first downs and 234 yards of total offense. TheTrojans were penalized eight times for 50 yards and lost three fumbles.

Trigg County snapped a six game losing streak to Murray with a 35-34 victory tonight. Murray pulled to within 1; 35-34 on a 31 yard run by Gage Sokolowski with 3:12 left in the game. Murray PK Ben Davis who was hampered by a hurt ankle had missed two kicks earlier so they decided to go for the two point conversion but Collin Wilson’s pass failed and Trigg County held on for the victory. Trigg County recorded 17 first downs and 420 yards of total offense. They were penalized six times for 60 yards and had a pass intercepted. Murray recorded 29 first downs and 402 yards of total offense. The Tigers were penalized nine times for 70 yards.

Kelsey Parham led Trigg County’s ground game with 97 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Jerimyah Shearer carried the ball three times for 37 yards. Jacob Wease completed 12 of 19 passes for 281 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Jhaden Vaughn caught five passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns. Jerimyah Shearer added two receptions for 36 yards. Kelsey Parham returned two kickoffs for 94 yards with one return being for 85 yards and a touchdown. Jhaden Vaughn led the defense with seven solo tackles. Shane Wallace added six solo and one assisted tackles. Anthouy Hall-Johnstone recorded five solo and one assisted tackles.

Gage Sokolowski led Murray’s ground game with 148 yards and two touchdown on 19 carries. Collin Wilson carries the ball 19 times for 123 yards and three touchdowns. Jayden Curtis added 68 yards on eight carries. Xavier Biggers recorded 56 yards on seven carries. Collin Wilson was zero of four in the passing game. Gage Sokoloski led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles. Jeremiah Jones added four solo tackles.

Covington Catholic scored on a three yard run by Tyler Rennekamp and a conversion kick by Andrew Weitzel with 3:35 left in the game to earn a 7-6 victory over Lexington Catholic. Covington Catholic recorded 12 first downs and 257 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized six times for 57 yards and had a pass intercepted. Lexington Catholic recorded 11 first downs and 278 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized six times for 45 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Evan Pitzer led Covington Catholic’ ground game with 88 yards on 21 carries. Owen Leen carried the ball 11 times for 33 yards, Tyler Rennekamp recorded 22 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Evan Pitzer completed six of 13 passes for 105 yards with one interception. Oliver Link caught two passes for 51 yards. Louie Hodge added one reception for 42 yards. Tate Kruer led the defense with four solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss and recovered a fumble he returned six yards. Braylon Miller added five solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Josh Flood recorded three solo and three assisted tackles and interceped a pass he returned 12 yards.

Blake Foster led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 35 yards on 11 carries. Walker Hall was not available tonight. Jackson Wasik completed 17 of 26 passes for 238 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Max DeGraff caught four passes for 125 yards and a touchdown. Hunter Foster added four receptions for 33 yards. Hayden Dawahare led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards. S. Bennington added four solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards. Justus Wertzler intercepted a pass.

The Yellowjackets were penalized eight times for 42 yards and lost a fumble. Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded eight first downs and 136 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized four times for 35 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Andrew Nason led Woodford County’s ground game with 183 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries. Preston Stacy carried the ball 12 times for 67 yards and two touchdowns. Andrew Nason completed nine of 12 passes for 122 yards and one touchdown. Makhi Smith caught six passes for 115 yards and a touchdown. Aden Nelson added three receptions for 37 yards. Leland Taylor returned one kickoff for 85 yards and a touchdown. Jaxson Bugg led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards. Dayvion Sturgis added three solo and two assisted tackles. Matthew Sowards recorded two solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards. Ethan Teall completed 12 of 24 passes for 104 yards with one interception. Trae Berry caught three passes for 20 yards. Noah Chapman caught two passes for 46 yards. Grant Angel led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles. Jose Kazadi II added four solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble he returned 78 yards for a touchdown.

The Blue Devils were penalized eight times for 93 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Cayden Allen led Great Crossing’s ground game with 179 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. JK Patterson carried the ball 68 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries. Isaiah Johnson recorded 57 yards on six carries. Gabe Nichols completed seven of 16 passes for 81 yards. Z. Kelley caught two passes for 41 yards. Drake Byrd added two receptions for 18 yards. Isaiah Johnson returned two kickoffs for 48 yards with a long return of 26 yards. Drake Byrd returned one kickoff for 17 yards. Drake Byrd led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles.
