Great Crossing defeated Henry Clay by the score of 34-20. Great Crossing recorded 24 first downs and 404 yards of total offense. The Warhawks were penalized six times for 65 yards and lost two fumbles. Henry Clay recorded nine first downs and 171 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized eight times for 93 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Cayden Allen led Great Crossing’s ground game with 179 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. JK Patterson carried the ball 68 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries. Isaiah Johnson recorded 57 yards on six carries. Gabe Nichols completed seven of 16 passes for 81 yards. Z. Kelley caught two passes for 41 yards. Drake Byrd added two receptions for 18 yards. Isaiah Johnson returned two kickoffs for 48 yards with a long return of 26 yards. Drake Byrd returned one kickoff for 17 yards. Drake Byrd led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles. Zach Morris added three solo and two assisted tackles. Oryend Fisher recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 17 yards. Malakhi Young chipped in with three solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 19 yards.

Jacob Childress led Henry Clay’s ground game with 38 yards on 12 carries. Paul Malcolm completed 13 of 18 passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns with one inerception. Jack Kreutzer caught nine passes for 104 yards and wo touchdowns. Lanon Merriman returned four kickoffs for 58 yards with a long return of 16 yards. Scyler Hersey returned on kickoff for 21 yards. Henry Mackey led the defense with four solo and seven assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Kyan Miller added five solo and one assisted tackles and recovered a fumble he returned eight yards for a touchdown.
