Southwestern defeated Simon Kenton by the score of 34-19. Southwestern recorded 17 first downs and 437 yards of total offense. The Warriors were penalized 10 times for 85 yards and lost a fumble. Simon Kenton recorded 24 first downs and 380 yards of total offense. The Pioneers were penalized six times for 55 yards and lost a fumble.
Christian Walden led Southwestern’s ground game with 152 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Tanner Wright carried the ball 16 times for 136 yards and three touchdowns. Lucas McKee recorded 41 yards on five carries. Collin Burton completed four of nine passes for 94 yards. Mason Hibbard caught two passes for 68 yards. Brody Perkins caught one pass for 24 yards.
Kaleb Bleier led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 158 yards on 31 carries. Chase Crone carried the ball 10 times for 63 yards and one touchdown. Tucker Ober recorded 67 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Chase Crone completed six of 11 passes for 69 yards and one touchdown. Chase Williams caught three passes for 64 yards. Kaleb Bleier caught two passes for seven yards and a touchdown. Josh Bowling led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles. Luke Schieber added five solo and one assisted tackles.
