Carson Pugh caught a six yard touchdown pass from Keshaun Thomas and Austin Moreland kicked the extra point with 00:47 left in the game to give Mason County a 24-21 victory over Tates Creek. Mason County recorded 14 first times and 348 yards of total offense. The Royals were penalized 11 times for 115 yards and had a pass intercepted. Tates Creek recorded 16 first downs and 302 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized 13 times for 95 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Brady Sanders led Mason County’ ground game with 56 yards on 17 carries. Keshaun Thomas carried the ball eight times for 49 yards. KJ Walton recorded 25 yards on three carries. Keshaun Thomas competed nine of 19 passes for 206 yards with three touchdowns. Terrell Henry caught three passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns. Carson Pugh added two receptions for 35 yards and one touchdown. KJ Walton had 80 yards on one kickoff return. Terrell Henry led the defense with six solo tackles. Brady Sanders added five solo and one assisted tackles. Carter Sanders recorded four solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 10 yards.

Andrew Witherington led Tates Creek’s ground game with 52 yards on eight carries. Andrew Witherington completed 19 of 34 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. M. Smith caught seven passes for 75 yards. Thomas Seigler added four receptions for 74 yards. Mason Jackson caught three passes for 32 yards and two touchdowns.

Scott County defeated Lafayette by the score of 43-6. Scott County recorded 10 first downs and 385 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized 10 times for 97 yards and lost two fumbles. Lafayette recorded six first downs and 53 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized eight times for 54 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Thomas Feickert led Scott County’s ground game with 56 yards on four carries. Ellis Huguely carried the ball once for 37 yards and a touchdown. Jacob Fryman recorded 22 yards and three touchdowns on five carries. Andrew Hickey completed five of six passes for 183 yards and two touchdowns. Isaac York caught three passes for 82 yards and two touchdowns. Eli Lilly added one reception for 86 yards. Logan Jones returned three punts for 20 yards and one kickoff for 37 yards. Jackson Damrom returned one punt for 21 yards. JaSante Harmon led the defense with three solo and four assisted tackles with four of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 12 yards and recorded a safety. Ben Pearson added three solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Paul Garner intercepted a pass and AJ Wands recovered a fumble.

Dez Hanley led the Lafayette ground game with eight yards and a touchdown on two carries. Mac King completed nine of 19 passes for 45 yards with one interception. P.Thurman caught five passes for 29 yards. E. Pierre-Louis returned four kickoffs for 82 yards with a long return of 34 yards. Bobby Lefevers led Lafayette with five solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards. Dez Hanley added four solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards. Darian Kesner and AJ Nichols each recovered a fumble.

Boyle County scored on the opening play on an 82 yard kickoff return by Montavin Quisenberry and a 2-point conversion run by Avery Bodner to take an 8-0 lead and never looked back on their way to a 36-12 victory over Bryan Station. Boyle County recorded 19 first downs and 303 yards of total offense. The Rebels were penalized five times for 32 yards and had a pass intercepted. Bryan Station recorded 10 first downs and 244 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized six times for 45 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Avery Bodner led Boyle County’s ground game with 117 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries. Sage Dawson carried the ball 13 times for 60 yards and a touchdown. Montavin Quisenberry added 40 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Sage Dawson completed 10 of 21 passes for 75 yards with one interception. Montavin Quisenberry caught five passes for 24 yards. Avery Bodner added three receptions for 20 yards. Keenan Stewart caugh two passes for 31 yards. Montavin Quisenberry returned two kickoffs for 115 yards including an 82 yard return for a touchdown. Avery Bodner led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss and recovered a fumble. Dalton Stone added deven solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. Cole Sims and Jayce Crowe each recorded four solo ad one assisted tackles. Montavin Quisenberry and Sage Dawson each intercepted a pass.

Trenton Cutwright led Bryan Station’s ground game with 48 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. B. Benet carried the ball 13 times for 28 yards. Trenton Cutwright completed eight of 17 passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns with one inerception. Damin Green caught six passes for 48 yards. B. Benit added two receptions for 59 yards. Jayden Walker added two receptions for 25 yards and a touchdown. Dahvon Frazier caught a five yard touchdown reception. Isaiah Watts returned two kickoffs for 40 yards with long return of 21 yards. JT Haskins Jr. and Damin Green each returned a kickoff for 37 and 31 yards respectively. Jahvon Frazier led the defense with 10 solo and two assisted tackles. Jason Hocker added six solo and six assisted tackles. Dahvon Frazier recorded four solo and two assisted tackles. M. Baker-Thomas intercepted a pass he returned for 12 yards.

Lexington Christian Academy defeated Mercer County by the score of 49-19. Unfortunately Drew Nieves LCA do-everything QB/WR/RB left the game in the first half with an injury. LCA recorded 23 first downs and 495 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized six times for 55 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Mercer County recorded 15 first downs and 279 yards of total offense. The Titans were penalized five times for 25 yards.

BJ Evans led LCA’s ground game with 24 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Cutter Boley carried the ball three times for 17 yards, Jveontae Emerson recorded 12 yards and two touchdowns on five carries. Will Nichols carried the ball once for eight yards and a touchdown. Cutter Boley completed 19 of 28 passes for 418 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Parker Chaney caught eight passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns. Evan Brown added four receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown. Jveontae Emerson recorded two receptions for 63 yards. BJ Evans added two receptions for 35 yards. Major Brown caught one pass for 31 yards. Drew Nieves and Will Nichols each caught one pass for 27 and 26 yards respectively. Will Nichols led the defense with seven solo and five assisted tackles. Thaddeus Mays completed 10 of 18 passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Wade Lane caught one pass for 41 yards and a touchdown. Jackson Perry added a 34 yard reception. Landon Yates recorded four receptions for 23 yards and a touchdown. Tyrus Weldon added two receptions for 45 yards. Carter Devine returned two kickoffs for 38 yards. Tyrus Weldon returned one kickoff for 25 yards. Morgan Pennington led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles. Jackson Mapp added three solo and one assisted tackles. The Warriors were penalized six times for 65 yards. West Jessamine recorded 23 first downs and 382 yards of total offense. The Colts were penalized 11 times for 60 yards, lost a fumble, and had one pass intercepted.

Tanner Wright led Southwestern’s ground game with 170 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Kaedon Flores carried the ball six times for 76 yards and a touchdown. Christian Walden recorded 51 yards and three touchdowns on six carries. Collin Burton carried the ball eight times for 33 yards and a touchdown. Collin Burton completed 11 of 12 passes for 224 yards and one touchdown. Mason Hibbard caught two passes for 85 yards and a touchdown. Caden Cunnagin added five receptions for 81 yards. Covington Catholic defeated Pikeville by the score of 27-19. Covington Catholic got a big special team play as Braylon Miller scored on a 68 yard punt return in the second quarter. Covington Catholic recorded 13 first downs and 259 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized six times for 48 yards. Pikeville recorded 13 first downs and 257 yards of total offense. The Panthers were penalized three times for 13 yards.

Owen Leen led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 70 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Evan Pitzer completed 13 of 18 passes for 139 yards and one touchdown. Owen leen caught four passes for 46 yards. Louie Hodge caught a 25 yard touchdown pass. Braylon Miller returned two punts for 81 yards including a 68 yard return for a touchdown. Miller also returned three kickoffs for 85 yards with a long return of 34 yards. Aiden Jones led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles. Tate Kruer added five solo and three assisted tackles. Josh Flood recorded five solo and two assisted tackles.

Blake Birchfield led Pikeville’s ground game with 129 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Tayvian Boykins carried the ball 19 times for 81 yards and two touchdowns. Tayvian Boykins completed three of eight passes for 37 yards. Westin Bevins caught two passes for 17 yards. Grant Scott added one reception for 20 yards. Westin Bevins returned two kickoffs for 33 yards with a long return of 21 yards. Tayvian Boykins returned one kickoff for 20 yards. Carson Wright led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles. Devin DeRossett and Brenden Anthony added six solo and one assisted tackles each. Wade Hensley chipped in with five solo tackles.

Madison Central scored a touchdown by Brady Hensley on a one yard run and Hensley added a 2-point conversion run with 1:30 left on the game to give the Indians a 29-28 come-from-behind victory. Dunbar had taken the lead on a one yard run by Ethan Teall and conversion kick by Ryan O’Hara to make the score 28-21 with 2:20left on the clock. Brock Eads returned the ensuing kickoff 82 yards to the Dunbar seven yard line to set the stage for Hensley’s late heroics. Madison Central’s defense held and on 4th and 10 from Dunbar’s 18 Ethan Teall was sacked by Travis Grant to turn the ball over to Madison Central’s offense to run out the clock. Madison Central recorded 25 first downs and 406 yards of total offense. The Indians were penalized 10 times for 85 yards and lost three fumbles. Dunbar recorded 15 first downs and 306 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized 11 times for 97 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Brock Eads led Madison Central’s ground game with 72 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Bryant Mathis carried the ball 10 times for 59 yards. Jayden West chipped in with 38 yards on one carry. Brady Hensley hampered by an ankle injury carried the ball 10 times for 30 yards and two touchdowns. Hagan Harrison chipped in with 10 yards on five carries. Hagan Harrison completed 13 of 28 passes for 204 yards and one touchdown. Jayden West caught seven passes for 102 yards and a touchdown. Travis Grant added five receptions for 95 yards. Brock Eads returned two kickoffs for 92 yards including a long return of 82 yards. Jayden West returned two kickoffs for 50 yards with a long return of 30 yards. Parker Mullins led the defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles. LJ Fuentes added five solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Cody Maggard recorded four solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Bryant Mathis intercepted a pass he returned 17 yards.

Cole Colony led Dunbar’s ground game with 95 yards on 22 carries. Ethan Teall carried the ball 12 times for 34 yards and a touchdown. Ethan Teall completed 10 of 22 passesfor 177 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. J. Biggerstaff caught four passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Noah Chapman added three receptions for 42 yards. Cole Colony recorded two receptions for 43 yards. J. Commodore returned two kickoffs for 75 yards with a long return of 44 yards. Noah Chapman returned one kickoff for 21 yards. Grant Angel led the defense with nine solo and one assisted tackles. Mason Hayslett added eight solo tackles. Kaylib Nelson recorded four solo and one assisted tackles. Nyle Bailey scored on a 17 yard fumble recovery return. C.Turlington and Laz Bowman each recovered a fumble.

Simon Kenton withstood a late comeback by Highlands to earn a 42-40 victory on the road. Simon Kenton recorded 26 first downs and 397 yards of total offense. The Pioneers were penalized three times for 25 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. Highlands recorded 18 first downs and 387 yards of total offense. The Bluebirds were penalized three times for 25 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Chase Crone led Simon Kenton’s ground game with 150 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries. Kaleb Bleier carried the ball 17 times for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Chase Williams recorded 81 yards on eight carries. Chase Crone completed six of 12 passes for 44 yards and two touchdowns. Chase Williams caught four passes for 38 yards and two touchdowns. Josh Bowling led the defense with four solo and five assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Nathan Kitchens recorded four solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. Brayden Ross chipped in with four solo and three assisted tackles.

Charlie Noon led Highlands ground game with 73 yards on four carries. Sam Robinson carried the ball once for 44 yards and a touchdown. Brody Benke recorded 39 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. Cameron Giesler chipped in with 31 yards on nine carries. Brody Benke completed 19 of 38 passes for 187 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. Charlie Noon caught six passes for 76 yards. Matteo Matteoli added five receptions for 63 yards. Carson Class recorded three receptions for 32 yards and a touchdown. TreVaughn Woods recovered a fumble and Brennan Kelsay intercepted a pass.

Frederick Douglass dominated play tonight in a 57-8 victory on the road over Tates Creek. Frederick Douglass recorded 15 first downs and 348 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized 11 times for 147 yards. Tates Creek recorded 10 first downs and 133 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized six times for 73 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Ty Bryant led Frederick Douglass’ ground game with 83 yards and two touchdowns on two carries. TJ Horton carried the ball eight times for 64 yards and two touchdowns. Pharo Watts recorded 63 yards and one touchdown on three carries. Cole Carpenter completed six of eight passes for 69 yards and one touchdown. Cameron Dunn caught four passes for 29 yards and one touchdown. Duri Trahan added two receptions for 27 yards. Tate Johnson caught one pass for 37 yards. Cameron Dunn and Ty Bryant each had one punt return with yardage of 29 and 18 yards respectively. Cooper Ranvier was seven of seven on extra points and kicked off nine times with six touch backs. Tresean Benford led the defense with three solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss. Eli Clinkscale added two solo and two assisted tackles. Logan Busson and Latonio Laveall each recorded two solo and one assisted tackles. TJ Hodo intercepted a pass.

Andrew Witherington led Tates Creek’s ground game with 47 yards on five carries. Andrew Witherington completed 10 of 20 passes for 84 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Ke’shon Douthitt caught six passes for 42 yards and a touchdown. Ke’shon Douthitt and Cooper Jackson each returned one kickoff for 34 and 25 yards respectively. Josiah Green led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles. Logan Julian added two solo and three assisted tackles.

Lexington Catholic defeated Henry Clay tonight by the score of 48-6. Henry Clay was hampered tonight by the absence of QB Blake Van Horn due to an injury. Lexington Catholic recorded 12 first downs and 365 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized six times for 50 yards. Henry Clay recorded 10 first downs and 180 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized three times for 35 yards, lost two fumbles, and had three passes intercepted.

Walker Hall led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 82 yards on 14 carries. Jackson Wasik completed six of 12 passes for 274 yards and five touchdowns. Max DeGraff caught six passes for 274 yards and five touchdowns. Max Mooring returned three kickoffs for 85 yards with a long return of 34 yards. Max DeGraff kicked field goals of 48 and 35 yards, four of five extra points, punted twice for a 47 yard average and kicked off eight times with four touch backs. S. Bennington and John Williamson led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles each. Hayden Dawahare added two solo andfour assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a nine yard loss. Montana Cox, Max Bertrand, and Grant Gambrell each intercepted a pass with return yardage of 26, 14, and 0 yards respectively. Camden Ebbitt and Wyatt Miniard each recovered a fumble.

Jacob Childress led Henry Clay’s ground game with 66 yards and 16 carries. Malcolm Paul completed eight of 16 passes for 110 yards with three interceptions. Jack Kreutzer caught three passes for 54 yards. L. Barrentine added two receptions for 39 yards. Scyler Hersey returned three kickoffs for 38 yards with a long return of 20 yards. Jack Kreutzer returned one kickoff for 25 yards. Walden Cole led the defense with eight solo tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards. Nash Dotson added four solo and two assisted tackles. Kyan Miller recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 10 yard loss.
