Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-1Sr. Bryce Long, 6-0 Sr. Lorenzo Williams, 6-7 Sr. Michael Moreno, 5-8 Sr. Cam Fluker, and 5-9 Sr. Diablo Stewart. Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-3 Jr. Luke Wedding, 6-2 Sr. John Poulton, 6-6 Sr. Brice Scott, 5-11 Sr. Patrick Geoghegan, and 6-1 So. Ben Johnson.
Scott County defeated Lexington Catholic by a score of 66-50. Scott County shot 42.6% from the field including eight of 20 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 18 Lexington Catholic turnovers. Lexington Catholic shot 41.5% from the field including two o 19 from beyond the arc. The Knights connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Scott County turnovers.
Bryce Long led Scott County with 17 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and two steals. Lorenzo Williams recorded 12 points, five rebounds, and two steals. Michael Moreno added 10 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. Diablo Stewart recorded 13 points, three rebounds, and four assists.
Ben Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 14 points and seven rebounds. John Poulton added 14 points, three rebounds, two assists, and five steals. Brice Scott recorded six points and nine rebounds.
