West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Tanner Richards, 6-2 Sr. Robby Irgang, 6-4 Sr. Chase Fain, 6-0 Jr. Will Henderson, and 6-3 Jr. Daulton Peters.  Burgin coach Brian Kirk countered with 5-10 Fr. Dillon Coulter, 5-9 Jr. Mason Myres, 6-5 Sr. Alex Beckerson, 5-9 So. John Price, and 5-3 Fr. Tommy Lopresto.

West Jessamine took an early lead and was never threatened in an 84-51 victory over Burgin.  West Jessamine shot 50% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line.  The Colts connected on 14 of 21 from the free throw line, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 27 Burgin turnovers. West Jessamine held a 35-0 advantage in bench scoring.   Burgin shot 39.2% from the field including one of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 10 of 19 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 West Jessamine turnovers.

Chase Fain led West Jessamine with 21 points and six rebounds.  6-2 Jr. Ian Kossick added 14 points and six rebounds.  Daulton Peters chipped in with 12 points. Will Henderson dished out nine assists.

Alex Beckerson led Burgin with 29 points and 15 rebounds.  Mason Myres added seven points.

Butler defeated a cold shooting Sacred Heart Academy team tonight by a score of 46-40.  Butler shot 46.9% from the field including two of six from the three point line.  The Bearettes connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 20 Sacred Heart turnovers.  Sacred Heart shot 29.8% from the field including one of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on 11 of 23 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 30 Butler turnovers.

Aareon Smith led Butler with 11 points and eight rebounds.  Danielle Lawrence added nine points and 11 rebounds.  5-8 Fr. Allison Just chipped in with eight points.

Dai Jia Ruffin led Sacred Heart with 11 points and four rebounds.  Caroline Long added nine points and four rebounds.

Gabby Bowie, 5-7 Jr. Hadyn White, and 5-8 Jr. Molly Manella.  Berea coach Jerry Bingham countered with 5-11 So. Victoria Sexton, 5-6 Sr. Ashley Sizemore, 6-1 Sr. Hannah Haycraft, 5-1 8th grade Jordan Sandefur, and 5-6 Jr. Chase Fain.

Berea scored a 41-37 come-from-behind victory over Sayre.  Berea shot 28.1% from the field including two of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Pirates connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 20 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 32.5% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady Spartans connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight Berea turnovers.

Hannah Haycraft led Berea with 19 points, 17 rebounds, and four steals.  Jordan Sandefur added nine points.  Chase Fain pulled down eight rebounds and recorded four steals.

Molly Manella led Sayre with 21 points and eight rebounds.  Gabby Bowie added eight points, 14 rebounds, and seven blocked shots.  Cammie Croney-Clark pulled down 10 rebounds.

Anderson County connected on 10 three point baskets in a 66-56 victory over Elizabethtown.  Anderson County was 25 of 50 from the field including 10 of 20 from the three point line.  The Lady Bearcats connected on six of six free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored four points off 11 Elizabethtown turnovers.  Elizabethtown was 23 of 45 from the field including one of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Panthers connected on nine of nine free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored seven points off four Anderson County turnovers.

5-10 Jr. Eriel McKee led Anderson County with 14 points and five rebounds.  5-3 Jr. Destiny Stewart added 13 points including three three point baskets.  5-0 Jr. Jessica Rice chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.

Sayre trailed 17-12 at halftime but outscored Bethlehem 20-8 in the third quarter on their way to a 44-42 victory.  Sayre held a 35-25 lead early in the final quarter but Bethlehem rallied to make the game close.  There were two lead changes and five ties in the game.  Sayre shot 50% from the field including three of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Spartans connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Bethlehem turnovers.  Bethlehem shot 29.8% from the field including three of seven from beyond the arc.  The Banshees connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored seven points off 13 Sayre turnovers.  Bethlehem held a 9-0 margin in second chance points.

Gabby Bowie led Sayre with 17 points, eight rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Holly Manella added 15 points including three three point baskets and pulled down six rebounds.

Mackenzie Hagan and Olivia Simpson led Bethlehem with 13 points each.  Shawn Zellers added nine points and 11 rebounds.

Clay County defeated Rockcastle County tonight by a score of 64-50.  Clay County was 24 of 36 on 2-pt field goals and one of seven from the three point line.  The Lady Tigers connected on 13 of 17 free throws and pulled down 31 rebounds.  Rockcastle County shot 19 of 52  on 2-pt field goals and two of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Rockets connected on six of eight free throws and pulled down 24 rebounds.

Clay County’s powerful front line of Madden, Chesnut, and Robinson combined for 56 points and 27 rebounds.  5-11 Sr. Cheyenne Madden led the victors with 26 points and nine rebounds.  Morgan Chesnut added 18 points and eight rebounds and 5-10 Jr. Sara Robinson recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds.

5-10 Sr. Michaela Hunter led Rockcastle County with 16 points.  5-7 Sr. Emily Miller and 5-5 Sr. Alexis Chasteen added 10 and eight points respectively.

Anderson County took a 42-32 lead in the final quarter but had to survive a Mercer County rally to earn a 46-43 victory and snap a 17 game home court winning streak for the Lady Titans. Anderson County survived a cold shooting night from the field and foul problems for 6-1 center Kali Whiteside to earn the victory.  Mercer County was hampered by foul problems to and a third quarter injury to 5-4 So. Catheryne Claunch. 

Anderson County shot 35.1% from the field including two of 20 from the three point line.  Anderson County connected on four free throws and pulled down 37 rebounds.  Mercer County shot 36% from the field including five of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Titans connected on six of 10 free throws and pulled down 29 rebounds.

5-10 Jr. Eriel McKee was a one woman wrecking crew for Anderson County tonight as she scored 28 points and pulled down 15 rebounds.  McKee also became the all time leading scorer in Lady Bearcat history tonight as she broke the record before halftime. 

5-6 Sr. Cassidy Martin led Mercer County with 17 points and six rebounds.  Catheryne Claunch added nine points.

Lincoln County held on down the stretch to defeat Whitley County 58-55 to capture a hard earned victory.  Whitley County got off to a slow start falling behind 17-8 at the end of the first quarter.  Whitley County suffered a blow when 6-0 Jr. Kandace Craig left the game with an injury in the first quarter that was later diagnosed as a broken hand which is thought to sideline her for 4-6 weeks.  Whitley County valiantly fought back but could not overtake the Lady Patriots for the win.

5-8 Sr. Emily Fox led Lincoln County with 16 points.  5-6 Sr. Ciara Saylor and 6-0 Sr. Sydney Harris added 14 and 13 points respectively.

5-7 Jr. Brandi Smith and 5-8 Jr. Maria Johnson led Whitley County with 25 and 17 points respectively.
