Model coach Candace Wells started the following lineup: 5-6 Fr. Keaton Hall, 5-6 Fr. Kenzie Ferguson, 5-7 8th Grade Presley Lochmueller, 5-0 Sr. Savanna Gullett, and 5-4 Fr. Summer Ray. Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 5-10 Jr. Jekauri McKeithen, 5-7 Jr. Taleya Todd, 5-9 Sr. Logan Hudson, 5-6 Sr. Kelsey Powell, and 5-6 Sr. Madison Barnard.
Madison Central outscored Model 26-7 in the second quarter on their way to a 67-33 victory. Madison Central shot 40% from the field including eight of 21 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on seven of 15 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 20 Model turnovers. Model shot 19.1% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc. The Lady Patriots connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 Madison Central turnovers.
Taleya Todd led Madison Central with 14 points, five assists, and three steals. Madison Barnard added 12 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Kelsey Powell recorded 11 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Logan Hudson chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds. Jekauri McKeithen added six points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots. 5-6 Lacie Parks added eight points including two three point baskets,
Savanna Gullett led Model with 10 points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Keaton Hall added nine points and eight rebounds. Kenzie Ferguson recorded four points, 11 rebounds, and three steals.
