Woodford County coach Steve Jaco started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Delaney Enlow, 5-10 Sr. Nia Jaco, 6-1 Jr. Kayla Harlow, 5-2 So. Ellie Dougherty, and 5-6 Jr. Abbie Hudson. Franklin County coach Joey Thacker countered with 5-8 Sr. Samareah Levarity, 5-6 Jr. Jasmine Simpson, 5-10 Fr. Patience Laster, 5-4 Sr. Shannon Brunette, and 5-6 So. Brooklynn Miles.
The score was tied 41-41 after three quarters but Franklin County pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Woodford County by a score of 64-50. Franklin County shot 37% from the field including six of 21 from the three point line. The Lady Flyers connected on 18 of 26 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and committed eight turnovers. Woodford County shot 36.4% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Yellow Jackets connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and committed 18 turnovers.
Brooklynn Miles led Franklin County with 31 points including 10 of 15 free throws, six rebounds, six assists, and seven steals. Jasmine Simpson added 14 points including four three point baskets and pulled down 10 rebounds. Patience Laster recorded eight points, six rebounds, and four blocked shots.
Delaney Enlow led Woodford County with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Kayla Harlow added 10 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots. Abbie Hudson recorded nine points including two three point baskets and four assists. Nia Jaco pulled down eight rebounds.
