Morgan DeFoor, and 5-10 Jr. Peyton Riddle.  Mason County coach Brad Cox countered with 5-9 Sr. Brianna McNutt, 5-9 Sr. Whitney O’Mara, 5-10 Sr. Maddie Boone, 5-7 Sr. Brianna Littleton, and 5-9 Sr. Jordan Frodge.

Scott County defeated Mason County by a score of 78-70.  Scott County shot 46.4% from the field including nine of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 17 of 23 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored seven points off 12 Mason County turnovers.  Mason County shot 38.1% from the field including eight of 27 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Royals connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 18 Scott County turnovers.

Maaliya Owens led Scott County with 23 points including five three point baskets and six rebounds.  Peyton Riddle added 17 points including six of six free throws, six rebounds, and five assists.  Morgan DeFoor recorded 14 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Lauren Boehm added 12 points and 15 rebounds.  Kadee Hudson chipped in with six points and eight rebounds.

Sacred Heart Academy led Christian Academy of Louisville 27-25 at halftime and pulled away in the second half for a 67-42 victory.  There were five lead changes and three ties in this game.  Sacred Heart shot 46.8% from the field including three of 16 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on six of seven free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 14 CAL turnovers.  CAL shot 27.7% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Centurions connected on 14 of 18 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored five points off 12 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Clay County defeated Knox Central by a score of 65-55.  Clay County shot 54.4% from the field including 10 of 20 from the three point line.  The Lady Tigers connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and committed nine turnovers.  Knox Central shot 44.7% from the field including six of 17 from beyond the arc.  They connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and committed nine turnovers.

5-9 Fr. Kaylee Mathis led Clay County with 28 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  5-4 8^th Grade Taylor Asher added 15 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds.  5-9 So. Summer Parker recorded 13 points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots.  5-6 So. Shelby Phillips chipped in with six points on two three point baskets, four rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.

The score was tied 18-18 at halftime but Lexington Catholic stepped up the defense after intermission and shot 76% from the field in the second half to earn a 64-43 victory in an important district match-up.  Lexington Catholic shot 55.1% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on five of five free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 14 points off nine LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 39.1% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored eight points off seven Lexington Catholic turnovers.
