Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Anovia Byars, 5-8 So. Braxton Price, 5-10 Sr. Nakeisha Green, 5-4 So. Alexis Lutz, and 5-6 Sr. T’Laya Lyvers.  North Bullitt coach David Marion countered with 5-7 Sr. Krista Sutherland, 5-6 So. Hailey Free, 5-9 Jr. Lauren Deel, 5-5 Sr. Erin Dolan, and 5-6 Sr. Katie Downey.

 

North Bullitt held a 39-26 lead in the third quarter and held on down the stretch to defeat Henry Clay by a score of 57-55.  The score was tied five times and there were two lead changes in the game.  North Bullitt shot 52.6% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 14 of 25 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 44.7% from the field including six of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 29 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 North Bullitt turnovers.

 

Lauren Deel led North Bullitt with 17 points and four rebounds.  Erin Dolan added 15 points.  Katie Downey recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.  Hailey Free chipped in with 10 points.

Henry Clay defeated Anderson County 32-27 in a game in which neither team could find the range from the field.  There were six lead changes and four ties in the game.  Henry Clay shot 20.5% from the field including two of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 10 Anderson County turnovers.  Anderson County shot 16.3% from the field including one of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bearcats connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Braxton Price led Henry Clay with 10 points.  Lexi Long added eight points including two three point baskets.  Nakeisha Green pulled down 16 rebounds. 

 

Kaci Currens led Anderson County with 12 points including eight of 10 free throws.  Mia Aldridge added nine points and eight rebounds.  Sammy Rogers recorded six points, eight rebounds, two blocked shots, and three steals.

Henry Clay defeated Green County by a score of 51-48.  The score was tied three times and there were five lead changes in the game.  Henry Clay led 33-18 early in the third quarter but had to survive a furious Green County rally.  Henry Clay shot 33.3% from the field including two of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 53 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 Green County turnovers.  Green County shot 28% from the field including three of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Dragons connected on 17 of 25 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 24 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Braxton Price led Henry Clay with 10 points, four rebounds, two blocked shots, and four steals.  5-6 Sr. T’Laya Lyvers added 10 points and 11 rebounds.  Nakeisha Green recorded six points and 17 rebounds.  Anovia Byars chipped in with seven points and six rebounds.

Bryce Long led Scott County with 23 points including two three point baskets and 11 of 14 free throws.  6-5 Sr. Clem Damron added 14 points on six of six from the field and two of two from the free throw line.  Michael Moreno recorded 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Lexington Christian Academy led 33-28 at halftime but Scott County rallied to lead 44-43 after three quarters and finished off the game with a 26-8 run to earn a 70-51 victory.  The score was tied four times and there were nine lead changes in the game.  Scott County shot 38.1% from the field including eight of 18 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 14 of 15 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 22 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 46.8% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 29 turnovers, and scored five points off 14 Scott County turnovers.

 

Bryce Long led Scott County with 19 points including five three point baskets.  Michael Moreno added 15 points, eight rebounds, and four steals.  Cooper Robb recorded 14 points and six rebounds.  6-1 Fr. Glenn Covington chipped in with 13 points including three three point baskets.
