Elizabethtown KY February 21st  -  Elizabethtown shot 63.8% from the field in a 78-51 victory over Dunbar.  Elizabethtown outscored Dunbar 27-6 in the second quarter.

Elizabethtown shot 63.8% from the field including three of five from the three point line.  The Lady Panthers connected on 15 of 20 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 17 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 37.3% from the field including one of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 Elizabethtown turnovers.

5-5 So. Natalie Greenwell led Elizabethtown with 21 points.  6-0 Sr. Alex Jones added 19 points and nine rebounds.  5-9 So. Adelaide Luckett chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds.

Louisville KY February 21st  -  Sacred Heart rallied from a 28-23 deficit at halftime to defeat Notre Dame by a score of 60-51.

Sacred Herat shot 46.7% from the field including two of nine from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Notre Dame turnovers.  Notre Dame shot 38.2% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Pandas connected on six of 14 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 15 Sacred Heart turnovers.

5-6 Jr. Autumn Miller led Sacred Heart with 21 points including nine of 10 from the free throw line.  5-11 Jr. Jackie Hafele added 12 points and nine rebounds.  5-11 So. Morgan Clemons chipped in with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Wayne County (15-10) vs. Lexington Catholic (15-12) (Girls)

Lexington KY February 20th  -  Cold shooting from the field (30%) and free throw line (44.4%) doomed LexCath tonight as they dropped a close 45-41 decision to Wayne County.

Lexington Catholic shot 30% from the field including three of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on eight of 18 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 17 Wayne County turnovers.  Wayne County shot 35.1% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 16 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

5-10 Sr. Heather Stearns led Wayne County with 22 points and 13 rebounds.  5-9 8th grader Jessica Hardin added seven points.

Georgetown KY February 20th  -  Scott County raced out to a 59-21 lead in the third quarter on their way to a 76-54 victory over Madison Central.  Scott County held a 38-16 advantage in bench scoring.

Scott County shot 44.4% from the field including seven of 22 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 32.3% from the field including two of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Scott County turnovers.

Washington February 20th  -  Sacred Heart shot a blistering 64.1% from the field in a 76-67 victory over Bullitt East.  SHA shot 72.2% in the first half but trailed 38-36 at the intermission.  SHA outscored Bullitt East 16-9 in the third quarter to take a 52-47 lead at the end of three quarters.

Sacred Heart shot 64.1% from the field including three of nine from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 23 of 28 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 34 points off 25 Bullitt East turnovers.  Bullitt East shot 47.8% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Chargers connected on 20 of 34 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 28 Sacred Heart turnovers.

West Jessamine (20-8) vs. Henry Clay (16-12) (Boys)

Lexington KY February 19th  -  West Jessamine trailed 56-52 in the fourth quarter but went on an 11-0 run to take a 63-56 lead and held on for a 68-65 victory over Henry Clay.  Henry Clay took a 30-20 lead early in the third quarter but West Jessamine only trailed 47-43 at the end of the third quarter.  Henry Clay had no answer for Jarrod Polson after the intermission as he scored 28 of his 35 points in the second half.

West Jessamine shot 59.5% from the field including nine of 13 from the three point line.  The Colts connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 14 points of 12 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 48.1% from the field including 11 of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on two of two free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 West Jessamine turnovers.

Stanford KY February 17th  -  This was a game of runs and Lexington Catholic made the las run to defeat Lincoln County 76-63. Lincoln County led 19-9 after the first quarter but Lexington Catholic roared back to lead 34-28 at halftime.  Lexington Catholic led Lincoln County 56-36 in the third quarter but Lincoln County rallied to narrow the margin before Lexington Catholic pulled away for the win.

Lexington Catholic shot 49.1% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 16 of 18 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 23 Lincoln County turnovers.  Lincoln County shot 40% from the field including seven of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

6-3 So. Taylor Martin had a fabulous night for Lexington Catholic with 25 points and six steals.  Martin was 11 of 11 from the field including one of one from beyond the arc and two of two from the free throw line.  6-3 Sr. Vee Sanford added 17 points including three three point baskets.  6-0 Fr. Jaylen Beckham chipped in with 11 points.  6-7 Jr. Tanner Peurach recorded nine points and eight rebounds.
