Lexington KY February 19th  -  West Jessamine trailed 56-52 in the fourth quarter but went on an 11-0 run to take a 63-56 lead and held on for a 68-65 victory over Henry Clay.  Henry Clay took a 30-20 lead early in the third quarter but West Jessamine only trailed 47-43 at the end of the third quarter.  Henry Clay had no answer for Jarrod Polson after the intermission as he scored 28 of his 35 points in the second half.

West Jessamine shot 59.5% from the field including nine of 13 from the three point line.  The Colts connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 14 points of 12 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 48.1% from the field including 11 of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on two of two free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 West Jessamine turnovers.

6-0 Jr. Jarrod Polson led the victors with 35 points, five rebounds, seven assists, and four steals.  Polson was 13 of 20 from the field including four of five from the three point line and five of six from the free throw line.  6-3 Sr. Jonathan Rehner and 6-0 Sr. Nick Zieman added 10 and nine points respectively.

6-0 Sr. Prince Stewart led Henry Clay with 23 points including three three point baskets and dished out seven assists.  5-8 Jr. Marquel Johnson added 15 points on five three point baskets.  6-3 Sr. TJ Barnes and 5-11 So. Brandon Wilder recorded 10 and nine points respectively.
