Belmont coach Bart Brooks started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Ellie Harmeyer, 6-0 Sr. Maura Muensterman, 6-1 Sr. Maddie Wright,5-7 So. Jamilyn Kinney, and 6-0 Fr. Kiki Britzmann.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Samantha Williams countered with 6-1 Jr. Samari Mowbray, 5-11 Jr. Bria Bass, 6-2 Jr. I’Liyah Green, 5-6 Jr. Teri Goodlett, and 5-6 Jr. Qay Stanton.

Belmont totally dominated play tonight in an 85-46 victory over Eastern Kentucky University.  Belmont shot 50.8% from the field including 12 of 20 from the three point line.  The Bruins connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 13 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 27.3% from the field including five of 32 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Belmont turnovers.

Ellie Harmeyer led Belmont with 23 points including two three point baskets, five of five free throws, and 13 rebounds.  Jamilyn Kinney added 13 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, five assists, and two steals.  Maddie Wright recorded 11 points and 6-0 Fr. Nikki Baird chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Maura Muensterman added nine points on three three point baskets, three rebounds, and four assists. 

Teri Goodlett led Eastern Kentucky University with 12 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  Bria Bass added 10 points and four rebounds.  5-7 Jr. De’ayra Davis recorded eight points and three rebounds and I’Liyah Green pulled down 10 rebounds.
