Eastern Kentucky University coach AW Hamilton started the following lineup: 6-7 Fr. Michael Moreno, 6-3 Sr. Ty Taylor, 6-8 So. Tre King, 6-0 Jr. Russhard Cruickshank, and 6-2 So. Jomaru Brown.  Austin Peay coach Matt Figger countered with 6-5 Jr.Terry Taylor, 6-3 Fr. Jordyn Adams, 6-8 Jr. Eli Abaev, 5-10 Fr. Carlos Paez, and 6-0 So. Antwuan Butler.

Austin Peay defeated Eastern Kentucky by the score of 93-85.  Austin Peay shot 43.1% from the field including five of 19 from the three point line.  The Governors connected on 26 of 37 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 15 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 49.2% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 23 of 28 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 Austin Peay turnovers.

Jordyn Adams led Austin Peay with 23 points, five rebounds, and three assists.  Terry Taylor added 19 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Eli Abaev recorded 19 points including 11 of 18 free throws and 12 rebounds.  6-4 Sr. Evan Hinson chipped in with 12 points including six of eight free throws.  6-2 Fr. Alec Woodard added 11 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.

Tre King led Eastern Kentucky with 21 points including nine of nine free throws, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Jomaru Brown added 20 points including eight of 10 free throws.  Ty Taylor recorded 17 points, five rebounds, and three steals. 6-9 Sr. Lachlan Anderson chipped in with 13 points and eight rebounds.
