Eastern Kentucky University coach Samantha Williams started the following lineup: 6-1 Jr. Samari Mowbray, 5-11 Jr. Bria Bass, 6-2 Jr. I’Liyah Green, 5-6 Jr. Teri Goodlett, and 5-7 Jr. De’ayra Davis.  Eastern Illinois University coach countered with 5-11 Fr. Morgan Litwiller, 5-9 Fr. Lariah Washington, 6-1 So. Abby Wahl, 5-8 So. Kira Arthofer, and 5-8 Jr. Karle Pace.

Eastern Illinois University dominated play today in an 85-38 victory over Eastern Kentucky University.  EIU shot 52.7% from the field including nine of 27 from the three point line.  They connected on 18 of 23 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 25 EKU turnovers.  EKU shot 27.8% from the field including zero of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 15 EIU turnovers.

Lariah Washington led EIU with 17 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Karle Pace added 16 points including three three point baskets and five steals.  Morgan Litwiller recorded 14 points including four three point baskets and four rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Jennifer Nehls chipped in with nine points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  6-6 Jr. Claudia Stan added nine points, three rebounds, three blocked shots, and two steals.

I’Liyah Green led EKU with 11 points and six rebounds.  5-6 Jr. Qay Stanton and 6-3 Fr. Emma Hacker each scored six points.  Teri Goodlett recorded four points, six rebounds, and two steals.
