LaSalle (OH) dominated play tonight to defeat a very good Scott County team by a score of 37-7 and improve to 3-1 for the season.  Scott County suffered their first loss and falls to 4-1 for the year.  QB MJ Horton led the way tonight passing for two touchdowns and running for two more scores.  LaSalle recorded 24 first downs and 399 yards of total offense.  The Lancers were penalized three times for 15 yards and had a pass intercepted.  Scott County recorded eight first downs and 160 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized seven times for 62 yards and had a pass intercepted.

MJ Horton led LaSalle’s ground game with 78 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.  Cameron Porter carried the ball 13 times for 36 yards and a touchdown.  MJ Horton completed 15 of 21 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Kevin Swift caught eight passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns.  Tay Smith added four receptions for 97 yards.  Jacob Seibert kicked off seven times for a 59.7 average and six touchbacks.  Rob Brown led LaSalle with four solo tackles.  Cal Hildebrand added three solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass. 

Payton Brown led Scott County’s ground game with 53 yards on four carries.  Montago Jones carried the ball 10 times for 47 yards.  Austin Barnett added 23 yards on 11 carries.  Cade McKee completed one of four passes for 14 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Glenn Covington caught a 14 yard touchdown pass.  Sam Daniel led the defense with six solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Berk Watts added five solo and four assisted tackles.  Matt Fannin recorded five solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards.
