Corbin defeated Clay County tonight by a score of 73-52. Corbin shot 48.1% from the field including seven of 16 from the three point line. They connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and committed eight turnovers. Clay County shot 33.3% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Tigers connected on 13 of 16 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and committed 10 turnovers.
5-9 Jr. Madison Hicks led Corbin with 21 points and 12 rebounds. 5-6 Sr. Kameryn Ashurst added 20 points. 5-8 Sr. Sarah Beth Price recorded 15 points. 6-0 Jr. Cora Stevens chipped in with seven points and six rebounds.
5-9 Fr. Kaylee Mathis led Clay County with 23 points including seven of eight free throws, five rebounds, and three assists. 5-6 So. Shelby Phillips added 12 points on four three point baskets. 5-4 8th Grade Taylor Asher recorded eight points, three rebounds, and four assists.
