Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Zan Payne, 6-3 Jr. TC Price, 6-7 Jr. Max Sparkman, 6-2 Sr. Blake Scott, and 6-3 Sr. Luke Johnson.  Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. countered with 6-2 Jr. Dustin Geralds, 6-1 Sr. Michael Roberts, 6-7 So. Isaiah Cozart, 5-8 Sr. KJ Long, and 5-11 Sr. Alex Mays.

Madison Central outscored Lexington Catholic 13-7 in the final quarter to defeat the Knights by a score of 51-46.  The score was tied three times and there were seven lead changes in the game.  Madison Central shot 36% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on nine of 18 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 10 points off nine Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 33.3% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored four points off five Madison Central turnovers.

Michael Roberts led Madison Central with 12 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  Dustin Geralds added 11 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists.  5-10 Jr. Isaiah Minter also scored 11 points including two three point baskets and four assists.  Isaiah Cozart recorded nine points, nine rebounds, and five blocked shots.  5-10 Jr. Jacori Miller chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets.

Luke Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 27 points including two three point baskets, seven of 10 free throws, four rebounds, and three assists.  Zan Payne added eight points and 12 rebounds.  TC Price added eight points and Max Sparkman pulled down eight rebounds.
