Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson Jr. started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Tim Dunn, 6-1 So. Terrance Murphy, 6-3 Jr. Braeden Warren, 5-7 Sr. Rafael Few, and 6-0 So. Alex Pickett. Sayre coach Robert Goodman countered with 6-3 Jr. Jake Duby, 6-0 So. Marcus Bowie, 6-2 Sr. Jack Henderson, 5-7 So. Jayden Blanton, and 5-11 Jr. Robbie Goodman.
Sayre led 40-32 at halftime but Bryan Station rallied for a 66-63 victory. Sayre shot 66.7% from the field in the first half but only managed 31.8% after the intermission. There were four ties and four lead changes in the game. Bryan Station shot 50% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line. The Defenders connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 17 Sayre turnovers. Sayre shot 50% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc. The Spartans connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored seven points off 13 Bryan Station turnovers.
6-0 Sr. Andre Davis led Bryan Station with 15 points including four three point baskets, five assists, and four steals. Tim Dunn added 12 points and five rebounds. Terrance Murphy also reached double figures with 10 points. 6-5 Sr. Deandre Dishman chipped in with nine points.
Jake Duby led Sayre with 29 points 29 points, 11 rebounds, and six steals. 5-7 Jr. Kaden Silverburg added seven points. Marcus Bowie and Jack Henderson each scored six points.
