North Bullitt coach David Marion started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Devyn Tompkins, 5-7 Fr. Katie Milby, 5-6 So. Hailey Free, 5-7 Sr. Krista Sutherland, and 5-5 Sr. Erin Dolan.  (5-9 Jr. Lauren Deel missed tonight due to an injury and Katie Downey did not start because of an injury).  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-10 Fr. Lindi DiBilzan, 5-8 So. Caroline Bennett, 5-11 Jr. Kiara Pankins, 5-6 So. Terry Abram, and 5-8 8th Grade Shelbi Wilson.

 

North Bullitt led 27-17 at halftime but Lafayette rallied to earn a 56-55 overtime victory.  The score was tied seven times and there were 12 lead changes in this game.  Lafayette shot 50% from the field including three of eight from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 15 of 25 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored eight points off 12 North Bullitt turnovers.  North Bullitt shot 33.8% from the field including three of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 23 Lafayette turnovers.  North Bullitt attempted 27 more shots (65-38) from the field than Lafayette.

 

Kiara Pankins was named Game MVP and led Lafayette with 22 points, seven rebounds, six blocked shots, and three steals.  Shelbi Wilson added 15 points.  5-10 Sr. Aisha Conwell recorded six points and pulled down 11 rebounds.

 

5-5 Sr. Katie Downey gave a courageous effort playing through an injury and leading North Bullitt with 11 points, five rebounds, seven assists, and five steals.  Hailey Free added 11 points, five rebounds, and four assists.  Erin Dolan recorded 10 points, five rebounds, four assists, and seven steals.  5-8 So. Caroline Janes chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.
