Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Aisha Conwell, 5-9 So. Caroline Bennett, 5-10 Jr. Kiara Pankins, 5-3 So. Terri Abram, and 5-7 Fr. Lindi DeBilzan. Lexington Christian Academy coach Kent Miller countered with 5-8 So. Payton Rodgers, 5-8 Fr. Grace Combs, 5-8 Jr. Charis Hill, 5-5 Sr. Hannah Sue Hartley, and 5-7 Jr. Sydney Weeks.
Lafayette defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 54-33. Lafayette shot 36.2% from the field including two of eight from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected on 18 of 35 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 LCA turnovers. LCA shot 13.2% from the field including three of 30 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on 16 of 24 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored nine points off 17 Lafayette turnovers.
Kiara Pankins led Lafayette with 21 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocked shots. 5-8 Jr. Kendyl Powell added nine points and seven rebounds. 5-8 8th Grade Shelbi Wilson also scored nine points. Caroline Bennett pulled down eight rebounds and blocked two shots.
Sydney Weeks led LCA with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Hannah Sue Hartley added seven points and four rebounds. Grace Combs recorded six points, five rebounds, and three blocked shots.
