Lincoln County coach Cassandra McWhorter started the following lineup: 5-10 Fr. Emma King, 5-7 Jr. Logan Godbey, 5-11 Fr. Kaitlyn Wilks, 5-5 Sr. Caitlyn Hall, and 5-6 Sr. Cristin Hall.  Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-9 Sr. Anovia Byars, 5-9 Sr. Jordyn Jackson, 5-10 Sr. Nakeisha Green, 5-6 Sr. T’Laya Lyvers, and 5-8 So. Braxton Price.

 

Lincoln County utilized a young but talented frontcourt and a veteran backcourt to defeat a talented Henry Clay squad 62-50.  Lincoln County scored several points in transition and the Hall twins flawlessly directed their offense.  Lincoln County shot 46.3% from the field including one of five from the three point line.  The Lady Patriots connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 32.7% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored six points off 11 Lincoln County turnovers.

 

Emma King led Lincoln County with 22 points including eight of 10 free throws.  Kaitlyn Wilks added 18 points and eight rebounds.  Cristin Hall chipped in with seven points.  Caitlin Hall recorded two points, six rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.

 

T’Laya Lyvers led Henry Clay with 18 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.  Braxton Price added 13 points.
