Male coach Champ Ligon Jr. started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Kyra Hogan, 5-3 Sr. Taylor Kraft, 6-1 Sr. Ilyah Green, 5-4 So. Ciaja Harbison, and 5-6 So. Emilia Sexton.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-9 So. Caroline Bennett, 5-9 Sr. Aisha Conwell, 5-10 Jr. Kiara Pankins, 5-3 So. Terri Abram, and 5-7 Fr. Lindi DeBilzan.

 

Male outscored Lafayette 20-9 in the second quarter on their way to a 54-46 victory.  Male shot 35.7% from the field including two of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored six points off 10 Lafayette turnovers.  Male held a 17-6 advantage on second chance points.  Lafayette shot 32.4% from the field including four of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 10 points off eight Male turnovers.

 

5-11 Jr. Logan Calvert led Male with 12 points and 11 rebounds.  Ilyah Green added 10 points and eight rebounds.  Emilia Sexton chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets.  5-10 So. Caitlyn Caswell recorded seven points and nine rebounds.  Green, Caswell, and Hogan each blocked two shots.

 

Kiara Pankins led Lafayette with 23 points including two three point baskets, nine rebounds, and three steals.  Terri Abram added nine points.
