Cincinnati Christian coach Joshua Snyder started the following lineup:  5-10 So. LeTisha Caldwell, 5-9 Jr. Brianna Ruffin, 6-0 Jr. Aly Balser, 5-5 Fr. Lexie Doddridge, and 5-4 Fr. Baylee Bennett.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts countered with 5-11 Fr. Abby Wright, 5-10 Sr. Shameekia Murray, 6-1 Jr. Jalen O’Bannon, 5-5 Jr. Mariah Massengill, and 5-10 Jr. Michaela Hunter.

 

Eastern Kentucky defeated Cincinnati Christian by a score of 112-34.  Ten players logged from 17-23 minutes of playing time and all ten players scored.  Eastern Kentucky shot 57.6% from the field including nine of 18 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 53 rebounds, and scored 43 points off 30 Cincinnati Christian turnovers.  Cincinnati Christian shot 25.5% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc.  They connected on two of two free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored seven points off 10 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.

 

6-1 Sr. Miranda Maples led Eastern Kentucky with 21 points including three three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Abby Wright added 19 points, four rebounds, and three steals.  Shameekia Murray chipped in with 14 points, four rebounds, and five assists.  Jalen O’Bannon recorded 12 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.  5-10 Jr. Zee Willix also reached double figures with 10 points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.  5-8 Jr. Alexus Cooper recorded eight points and six steals.  Mariah Massengill dished out seven assists.

 

Baylee Bennett led Cincinnati Christian with 15 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and four assists.  Aly Balser added five points, eight rebounds, and three steals.
