Warren East coach Andrew Peters started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Brooklyn Gilbert, 5-6 Sr. Dayliaone Bibb, 5-8 Jr. Summer Glass, 5-3 Jr. Erin Houchins, and 5-4 So. Baylen Wardlow. Allen County-Scottsville coach Brad Bonds countered with 5-11 Sr. Morgan Rich, 5-10 8th Grade Sarah Sutton, 6-1 Sr. Holly Robinson, 5-6 Jr. Jordan Brooks, and 5-8 Jr. Savannah Gregory.
Allen County-Scottsville raced out to a 23-5 first quarter and cruised to a 73-33 victory over Warren East. Allen County-Scottsville shot 50% from the field including four of seven from the three point line. The Lady Patriots connected on 21 of 24 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 21 Warren East turnovers. Warren East shot 23.8% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc. They connected on 10 of 19 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored three points off 10 Allen County-Scottsville turnovers.
Morgan Rich led Allen County-Scottsville with 27 points including three three point baskets. Holly Robinson added 12 points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots. 5-6 Jr. Kayla Hudson chipped in with nine points and seven rebounds. Savannah Gregory recorded eight points and seven rebounds and Sarah Sutton added eight points and six rebounds.
Erin Houchins led Warren East with nine points including two three point baskets. Summer Glass added seven points and six rebounds.
