North Oldham coach Rob Burton started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Brent Anderson, 6-1 So. Zach Wheeler, 6-3 J. Seth Hagen, 6-0 So. Jalen Henry, and 6-0 Sr. Jonathan Henry. West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-4 Sr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Jr. Siah Holifield, 6-4 Sr. Dalton Crouse, 6-0 Jr. Camron Seater, and 6-3 Jr. Wells Ducas.
The score was tied 59-59 after three quarters but West Jessamine pulled away in the final quarter for an 89-71 victory over North Oldham. The score was tied eight times and there were 11 lead changes in this game. West Jessamine shot 63.8% from the field (78.3% in the second half) including three of seven from the three point line. The Colts connected on 26 of 41 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 20 North Oldham turnovers. North Oldham shot 49.1% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc. The Mustangs connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 West Jessamine turnovers.
Siah Holifield led West Jessamine with 26 points and five rebounds. Brooks Ely added 24 points, five rebounds, and three steals. 6-0 Jr. David McCorvey and 6-0 Jr. Devin Cook chipped in with 13 and 10 points respectively.
Jalen Henry led North Oldham with 13 points and three assists. Jonathan Henry added 11 points. Zach Wheeler recorded 10 points and four rebounds.
