West Jessamine vs. Fleming County (Boys)

West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Sr. Daulton Peters, 6-5 Jr. Dalton Crouse, 5-11 Sr. Landon Adkins, and 6-0 Sr. Will Henderson.  Fleming County coach Mark Starns countered with 6-4 Sr. Troy Steward, 6-1 Sr. Brady Saunders, 6-4 Jr. Wilder Williams, 5-7 Sr. Keion Crumbie, and 5-10 Sr. Bryson McKee.

West Jessamine raced out to a 43-28 halftime lead and held on down the stretch to defeat Fleming County by a score of 80-76.  West Jessamine shot a sizzling 61.8% from the field including six of 10from the three point line.  The Colts connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Fleming County turnovers.  Fleming County shot 46.7% from the field including three of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Panthers connected on 17 of 28 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 West Jessamine turnovers.

Daulton Peters led West Jessamine with 30 points and 10 rebounds.  Brooks Ely added 15 points including three three point baskets.  Dalton Crouse chipped in with 13 points.

Troy Steward led Fleming County with 36 points and nine rebounds.  Wilder Williams added 17 points and 10 rebounds.  Brady Saunders recorded 14 points and six rebounds.
