Southwestern coach Steve Wright started the following lineup: 6-4 So. Isaiah Collier, 5-10 Sr. Justin Schulz, 6-9 Sr. Brad Estes, 5-8 So. Adam Isaacs, and 6-0 Jr. David Kapinga.  West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-3 Jr. Tanner Richards, 6-2 Sr. Robby Irgang, 6-4 Sr. Chase Fain, 6-0 Jr. Will Henderson, and 6-3 Jr. Daulton Peters.

Southwestern led 60-40 in the third quarter but had to withstand a furious rally by West Jessamine to eke out a 77-76 victory.  Southwestern shot 54% from the field including 14 of 25 from the three point line.  The Warriors connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 13 points off eight West Jessamine turnovers.  Southwestern held a 42-18 advantage in three point points.  West Jessamine shot 50% from the field including six of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 13 Southwestern turnovers.

David Kapinga led Southwestern with 19 points and nine assists.  Isaiah Collier added 18 points on six three point baskets and pulled down six rebounds.  Justin Schulz chipped in with 17 points including five three point baskets and pulled down six rebounds.  6-5 Jr. Justin Edwards added 14 points.

Daulton Peters led West Jessamine with 28 points and five rebounds.  Will Henderson added 11 points.  Chase Fain recorded 10 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists.  Tanner Richards and Robby Irgang each added 10 points.
