Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Quan Taylor, 6-1 Sr. Daniel Parke, 6-3 Sr. Hunter Stocker, 6-1 Sr. Ken-jah Bosley, and 6-1 Sr. Dominique Hawkins.  West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-3 Jr. Tanner Richards, 6-2 Sr. Robby Irgang, 6-4 Sr. Chase Fain, 6-0 Jr. Will Henderson, and 6-3 Jr. Daulton Peters.

Madison Central trailed 36-32 at halftime but rallied in the second half to defeat West Jessamine by a score of 85-65.  Madison Central held a 16-2 advantage in second effort points and outscored West Jessamine 48-22 in the paint.  Madison Central shot 50% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 18 of 19 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 15 West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 47.7% from the field including 17 of 24 from the free throw line, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored seven points off 11 Madison Central turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 18 less shots (62-44) from the field than Madison Central.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 31 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  Hawkins was 10 of 16 from the field including two of three beyond the arc and nine of nine from the free throw line.  Ken-jah Bosley added 27 points and six rebounds.  Hunter Stocker chipped in with eight points and nine rebounds.

Chase Fain led West Jessamine with 23 points including four three point baskets, six rebounds, and five assists.  Daulton Peters added 21 points and nine rebounds.  Robby Irgang chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds.  Will Henderson dished out seven assists.

West Jessamine  15  21  14  15 – 65

 

Madison Central (85) – Taylor 6, Parke 0, Stocker 8, Bosley 27, Hawkins 31, Walker 5, Jones 6, George 2.
